Rather than speaking with the employee who served her, another staff member came over and began examining the bowl. The employees looked over the contents and gave opinions on the serving size and ultimately decided that the portions appeared larger than a half-and-half serving. Instead of simply discussing the situation or adjusting the charge appropriately, they threw the entire bowl into the trash and wanted remake it with what they believed was the correct amount of food. She was shocked by the decision to discard a perfectly good meal, especially since any over-serving was the result of the employee preparing the bowl--not something she requested or had any control over. As a customer, she ordered the standard half-and-half bowl in good faith and should not have been made to feel responsible if the portion sizes exceeded company guidelines. The experience was so surprising and upsetting that she chose to leave rather than wait for the bowl to be remade. As a loyal, repeat customer, she found the handling of the situation disappointing and wasteful. She believes the issue could have been resolved respectfully without throwing away her meal or making her feel as though she was at fault. We will not be returning to this location.

Ordering online was a brilliant move to skip the lines, but I learned a valuable lesson: just head inside to grab your food. The drive-thru, while usually a breeze, was a tad slower than expected with the lunch rush. But the wait was worth it - that food though! Essentially boneless chicken nuggets, you can toss them in your favorite flavor: Buffalo, Honey BBQ, Honey Butter, or Sweet & Spicy. The fried okra came out hot and fresh, and the jalapeño poppers were cooked to perfection--crispy on the outside with a creamy filling and little pieces of jalapeño throughout. When I had placed my order and I tried using the gift card, I was told that the gift card was the 'old' version and might not be usable anymore. And it wasn't usable. They tried swiping it, they tried calling the number on the card, they tried everything, but the gift card was just useless. I mean seriously? What a waste of time and gas driving here. So I paid for my order and I left. I'm giving up on this location. I do have to mention though; the two times I came into this location the staff were all helpful and friendly. So there's that. But that still doesn't make up for the horrible, horrible experience with wrong orders and gift cards that don't work.
