The food was good, but the young man working the drive through on June 17, 2026 at about 6:00 pm was wrong for what he did. I ordered a lot of food for my family. There were at least 4 big sacks of food. It took a while to get the food, and we were asked to pull up to the white line/pole. I thought "no big deal," so I did. The same young man working the drive through came out and kindly brought us food. Great ! Because we had a lot of sacks, my daughter couldn't hold all of them, so she proceeded to reach behind her to put some of them on the second row floorboard of the car while I waited in her, so I could hand her the last sack which I was holding. The fries started spilling out of bags because we were trying to hurry. I couldn't hold it and drive at the same time. That may have taken an extra 20 seconds, but we were hurrying when this woman in a car behind us began honking at us. Just then, the young man came outside to bring drinks to her (I assume). He told us we needed to move to a parking spot if we wanted to look in the bags. I told him we were just setting down all of those bags and it didn't take too long. I guess he cared about the woman behind us being impatient, so he said something. Keep in mind we were not blocking the drive through. We were pulled up because they needed to not get in trouble for taking too long at the actual window. I told him I doubt we will be back. This was our 2nd time there. The first trip wasn't positive either. They want customers to be patient when they take forever, but then they rudely make comments when customers take a few seconds to set down food, so they can drive. This is a new Whataburger that just opened in Hernando, Mississippi and is just off the exit of the highway. The place has a bright and clean ambiance and the staff here friendly. Keeping in mind that it is fast-food. With that being said, the food here is decent enough. I would definitely recommend this particular Whataburger if you are looking for a fast-food burger. read more

So I grew up in Texas and I am no stranger to Whataburger. Where I come from we call it WhataWait, but that wasn't the case at this location. For a Sunday at 9 PM the restaurant was surprisingly busy. However, Amaya promptly took our order and she was very pleasant when doing so. Not long there after a young man delivered the food to the table, and he was also very pleasant and answered a few questions. We ordered a a couple hamburgers, a patty melt, french fries and a beverage. Again, they were promptly delivered and everything was fresh, hot and tasty. The restaurant was clean. I very much like the artwork on the walls. And I think it's great that they are open 24 hours a day. We will be back. I certainly recommend that you try it. read more

I sat in the drive thru line so long, i couldn't remember if i ordered a hamburger or a pot roast, and i don't know the point of them asking you you're name if they're just going to forget by the time you get to the window. Extra good burgers, extra slow service, do better. read more

Last night we stopped at this Whataburger on the way home. Was only one car ahead of us so was able to order in the drive thru quickly. Pretty simple order of two #7's and Apple pies. If you haven't tried the pies, they are the 80's ones McDonalds used to have. We got to the window and paid for our food and here's where the 3 star begins. We never got food. There are about 10 workers all gathered around the drive thru window. They put one to go order bag there and I honestly felt bad for whoever's food that was as it was there at least 15 mins while we sat there waiting on our bag. About 10 cars behind us. Low and behold, a worker walks over-grabs that bag that has been sitting there the entire time, opens the window and hands it to me. Took all I had to remain calm. We've just sat here this entire time while my food was within my view for at least 15 mins. I had to knock on the window to ask for fresh fries as they were ice cold from sitting. I'm just baffled how 10 people are standing there and the 11th realizes the bag belongs to the car that's been holding up the entire line waiting :/ Positive-burger was still good although it was no longer hot. And the apple pie was delicious as always. read more

I would suggest Whataburger be faster and more efficient during high traffic hours. I waited 25 minutes in the drive thru for 2 burgers nothing else. The line behind me was very long and not moving. The food is always fresh and delicious, but 25 minutes is not acceptable in a drive thru. My honest review. read more

I have been twice now and both times customer service was terrible. My food wasn't correct either time I went. I was in the second line waiting on my food & drinks, the lady bringing them out proceeded to cough on my drinks and shove the food in my window. Do not recommend. read more

I have been to this location multiple times. They are rude, and have gotten my order wrong every time. I asked for some spicy ketchup and the lady rolled her eyes at me and stormed off. I know they just opened i hope they can correct this issue. read more
