I ordered the A1 Steakhouse burger and chili cheese tots. I got fries instead. And the burger I received looked NOTHING at all like the picture on the menu. There were three of us and 2 got Coke Zero and one got fully leaded Coke. Then the girl who got the drinks did a damn three card Monty with them and of course didn't click the little buttons on the lid so you can tell which is regular and which is diet and which is Sprite (). Came in one evening and ordered some food to go. Service was pretty quick and food was made fresh. Once hubby and I got home, we dove right on in. Food was still good and hot. I ordered the Cajun burger and onion rings and hubby ordered chicken tenders and fries. The food was decent, but nothing super special. We did enjoy it, but nothing made us say we'd hurry back to have it again. I think the burger patty and the tenders could use a little seasoning. Fries and onion rings were good. The menu is pretty loaded so maybe someday we'll circle back and try something else. read more

Went in because I had heard they have good old fashioned Mike shakes. I ordered a chocolate shake. I sat down to relax and enjoy but found it had a very odd taste, almost bitter. I took it back and the service was friendly and apologetic and offered me a refund or a different flavor. I selected a vanilla and to my surprise it had the same odd flavor. Pretty solid burger and fries! I had the Rodeo Burger (not shown on the board) and I really enjoyed it a lot. It was hot, fresh, and tasty! Just like it should be... It was one of the better burgers I've had in a good while. It all worked well together and I loved the hamburger meat flavor. It was cooked well done but still pretty juicy. I liked the fries too. I'm pretty sure they are fresh cut in house. I saw another review kind of knocking them so I was weary a bit when I ordered them. I actually liked the soft pillowy texture they had and found them to be superior to most fries. I'm so over the coated factory breaded fries that are produced to be "crispy" for an extended amount of time after they are cooked. These were real potatoes and not coated cyber fries. I will definitely be back for another meal. I was really impressed by the manager here. He was an older gentleman with all white hair. He is a bad ass manager. He checked on every guest, made nice conversation, and was just an overall very efficient leader of the young team. My cashier was a little distracted but it still all worked out well. I think they put to many duties on the cashiers here. They make the drinks and milkshakes too it appeared. It's hard to focus on one thing (me) when you have multiple tasks to complete all at once. I would appreciate the cashiers attention the entire time I order. Not a huge deal, but I noticed it. I'll put this out there... this place has the best burger in Olive Branch, and yes I've had them all... Winner. Winner. Buy me another burger for dinner! read more

Fantastic burgers! It's a little slow compared to other burger joints but that's because you get a really top quality burger. Prices are reasonable. We decided to come here because of an email saying that they had a Mango Habanero Chicken Sandwich. We walked in and asked about it, and the owner said it wasn't available yet as the ingredients just came today, but would be ready tomorrow (so by the time you're reading this review, it'll likely be available). However, the owner said he had tasted the sauce and it was very good. He said it was burning his mouth but he kept going back to taste it again. The owner also offered us some of the sauce so we could try it ourselves. He even stopped by our table several times throughout the meal to check how it was. The answer - it was delicious. My mom and I got a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, my brother got a cheeseburger, and my dad got a grilled chicken BLT, which he added the sauce to. All of us loved the food! In addition, the interior of the restaurant is very nice. The furniture is incredibly comfortable and the art isn't bad. The overall aesthetic of the restaurant feels almost like a house or a coffee shop with seats that feel like and look like couches. read more

I've eaten lot of burgers, enough to consider myself a connoisseur of a good sloppy, greasy, juicy, finger licking burger, this ain't it, i was whole heartedly underwhelmed with the burgers from this establishment, in my opinion they were one step up from gas station burgers, the buns were were cold, not buttered, not toasted, and plainer than a plain if that's even possible. The hamburger patty itself was about as "lifeless" as cold cheap pizza and that might even be insulting to cold pizza, there were no seasoned fries and just plain sticks of bland white potatoes. The COVID-19 protocols are in place here, employees wear masks and gloves. Social distancing is setup inside the restaurant. You can call in your order or order inside the restaurant. If you order inside, you can wait inside until your order is ready. The restaurant was clean, neat and tidy. Capacity limits are set. Unusable tables were blocked from being able to sit at them. The available tables had "recently sterilized" notices on them. The staff was friendly, helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. I made my own burger. I ordered the double cheese burger with cheddar cheese bacon and a side of tater tots, sweet tea and a cookies and cream milkshake. The burger was pretty good, the tater tots were good too. The milkshake was pretty good. My only complaint, the sweet tea tasted like the pot hadn't been thoroughly rinsed, the after taste of the cleaning solution in the water wiped out any chance of tasting the tea. I was not able to finish the tea. I would have given 5 stars if not for the after taste in the sweet tea. I will definitely eat here again. read more

Spot is offering dine in for COVID, but not offering any dine in utensils (plates, forks, etc). Your food will be handed to you as if you were taking out which was disappointing. Food itself was delicious and shockingly affordable. Normally, "higher end" burger spots tend to come with a high end price tag but Wayback doesn't. I got a custom burger, tots, nachos, and a drink for $14. Burger: super tender, juicy meat! Can tell it's good quality. Could have used some more salt but that's okay, probably have it that way because most of their specialty and classic burgers come with salty toppings (bacon, chili, etc). The tots were perfectly cooked. The Irish nachos were good and different! They use home made potato chips as the chips. Perfectly seasoned and not too crunchy where they cut up your tongue like so many house chips tend to do. Chili was yum. Only gripe is their ranch isn't good. It's definitely just hidden valley or something generic like that. Not like the good restaurant ranch. Y'all know what I mean when I say that too. All in all: would recommend! read more

I recently dined in at Wayback Burgers in Olive Branch, Mississippi It is located off Goodman Road next door to Chicken Salad Chuck and Five Below. The location is great, lot of parking space and the interior of Wayback Burgers is very nice. The employees were very friendly from the time I entered as well as when I left. I ordered the single party burger with pepper jack cheese, fries and onion rings. The burger was delicious, season just right and the onion rings and fries were delicious and the right temperature. Figured I would grab something new southside and found this. It is a chain, but never been there before. Got a classis with jalapenos and wayback sauce. Simple burger but tasted very fresh and not too greasy but flavorful. Love how they have O-Fries. a mix of onion rings and fries. Fries were natural tasking and onion rings were OK but would have been much better if not so greasy. Best thing though because it is not what everyone else has is the tangerine milkshake. OK I have been to the olive branch location two times now, The first time I only got the classic burger and I will say it was delicious. The second time I got a double burger with cheese and grilled onions and I will say I was disappointed, the meat had zero seasoning on it at all and if it wasn't for the cheese and the onions that sandwich would've been bad. With that said I'm giving three out of five stars because I don't really know if the first burger was great because of all the stuff that was on it and I failed miserably on tasting the actual burger meat which is what most burger places hang their hat on. My honey had the loaded cheese fries it was shredded cheese sprinkled on top which was not melted because the fries were not hot enough to do so. I say this as someone who has ordered delivery twice and both times the orders arrived incorrectly prepared - the first time I ordered a bacon burger but what arrived with a double patty burger without bacon.
