Big Heifer, Build your own burger and Birthday Cake Shake
    Chris H.

Ordered a Big Heifer & a build your own burger combo w/fries along with a Birthday Cake Shake! The meat on this burger has a wonderful smoked taste and is extremely meaty. You get to pick your cheese and we went with pepper jack and smoked Gouda which was very good on a burger. You can really taste the freshness of this food. The staff is so friendly and points you in the right direction, the order is 100% correct when you get your food. The fries were really good, hot, and seasoned. This is a small spot with no seating but at picnic tables out front luckily it wasn't too hot to enjoy this secret spot in Byhalia. Go hunt the place down if you are in the area!

2/5/26 - I order the Big Heifer w/Gouda cheese, mayo, ketchup, mustard, tomatoes, jalapeños, onion, and onion rings ... burgers fantastic appearance, flavor, taste ! Onion rings look great and taste great ! Customer service is friendly town atmosphere. Little Moo's is a singular building, shack look appeal; building, picnic benches, surrounding area is quaint small town feel. When passing through Byhalia MS or nearby area, do make an effort to visit this burger joint !

Very cute walk-up. Everything we had was amazing! The burger was hand-patted and had an amazing smokey flavor that no franchise has. The bacon was thick cut and delicious. The onion rings, phenomenal. The milkshake was a perfect consistency. This is our new fave burger spot.

We are SO glad this restaurant is right down the road from us. The Moo Melt is the absolute best patty melt I have ever had in my life! Their fries are always perfect too. Sometimes the food takes a while, but it is always super fresh and worth it! Depending on the weather, you can sit at their picnic tables and eat outside, which is nice

It is a rather large place for an ice cream shop and it was HOPPING when we stopped in on Saturday night. It was so busy that the larger parking lot was full and people were parking at a nearby bank that was closed for the evening. They make all of their ice cream in house and also make homemade waffle bowls. Sadly they were out of the waffle bowls so we didn't get a chance to try those. I decided on the coconut brown sugar and it did not disappoint. It was super tasty with the perfect amount of coconut flakes. You heard me, it has actual coconut flakes instead of just having coconut flavor. That's a sign of some true homemade ice cream. My husband had the salted caramel and was enjoying it so much that I had to take a bite. It was divine as well...not your average bland caramel at all. It was super rich and tasty. Definitely give them a try if you are ever in the area. The staff were super nice and they were happy to help. They also sell pints for you to take home and enjoy some more of their tasty ice cream!

Apparently everything is made in house and locally sourced. I've heard they have a blackberry goat cheese at some point during the season I'm sad I only get to this area once a year but any flavor is worth it to me!!

There are lots of tables and chairs, which makes it hard to navigate when occupied. Luckily when I went there were only a few people inside. I was greeted, but not much more. The young man asked if I had been helped and when I said No, he stopped to assist. I had questions and he answered and then I placed my order. Interestingly enough I have had a sno cone where the businesses charges for more than 1 flavor. ‍ It didn't take long to make and had good taste, but nothing special and for the price I wanted spectacular. Probably be a while before I go back, but not a bad option.

We tried the ice cream and were both disappointed, it just tastes really cheap like they use low quality ingredients. And the texture is a little icy, not very creamy. It reminded me of the lowest quality store bought ice cream you could get like Blue bunny. I'm not sure what they're doing or how they are making it but they could use a different recipe, and better add ins. On top of that they have way too many flavors, if there were fewer they could focus on making those few flavors the best. I'm not sure how good the snow cones are but maybe we'll have to come back to try those. The restaurant is also kind of crowded with tables in random spots, it's not organized well at all. Overall just disappointing.

You can taste the freshness in every sip, and they're refreshing without being overly sweet. Perfect balance. Samoas ice cream. Just like the cookie, except without the random guilt trip from a little kid outside Walmart giving you the hard sell while you're trying to buy meal-prep chicken for the week. And yes, I realize I just compared buying ice cream to avoiding Girl Scouts. Stay focused. The ice cream here is just ridiculously good. Great flavors, great texture, and exactly what you want after dinner, before dinner, or honestly whenever you happen to be walking around the Square and decide calories don't count in Oxford. The Samoas flavor is the standout for me, but this is one of those places where you could probably order almost anything and be happy. Oxford has plenty of great places to eat, but every trip here should either start or end at Oxford Creamery. Preferably both.

The Oxford creamery is a quaint little spot that has an old school southern vibe. We saw My Big Fat Greek wedding as a menu item so we obviously had to go with a large order of that in a waffle cone bowl. My big fat Greek wedding was absolutely decadent and delicious. This item is an absolute must try, with pistachio and baklava and honey and vanilla ice cream, this treat is a 10/10. The Oxford creamery knocks it out of the park with this desert. An absolute delicious treat. Truly magnificent. Stop in to see the friendly staff and tray a tasty treat while you're there.
