The kitchen messed up our order. We wanted jalapeños on our burger but instead it came with no onions. The carhop took the burger back to the kitchen to fix it. They should have not taken the burger back in, who knows what they did to it. Then we got it back, still no onions, with jalapeños and had to fork over $.60. On top of our meal being $25 anyway. Carhop apologized and said the manager demanded the .60.....we won't be back. read more

took our order a minute before close and they were still super polite about it. food came out fast. our carhop apologized for the wait?!?! totally unnecessary because they were speedy. we tipped them well and were genuinely shocked to get this kind of service at a fast food place. whoever is running the Hernando sonic is doing a great job! read more

Unacceptable I ordered long chili cheese dog. The first time it was lukewarm I told them I wanted it fresh and hot. They brought another one worse than the one before. It was uneatable lukewarm dog and cheese not even melted. I should have went to the service station across the street. read more

Corndogs we're not quite fair quality. Burger had exceptional spices. Had a little difficulty with the waitress's accent, but we got there.

This place is Guaranteed to get your order wrong. The food's trash compared to other Sonic locations. Would give 0 stars if possible.

Short version: unimpressed. Long version: We ordered two chicken Hawaiian sandwiches and a Hawaiian burger, one order with fries and one cheese tots. They brought us popcorn chicken, a plain cheese burger and regular tots. So we called the carhop back and told her and she TOOK THE FOOD BACK. Two seconds later a tray with a cardboard box (how they usually do meals with cheese fries or tots) and a bag went sailing BACK into the restaurant and then the first one we had went back out to someone else's car (the food we took out in our car) and they brought us the same food that we just saw on the return tray (we were watching to ensure something like that was NOT attempted). We told the same carhop as before like you can't give people food that someone else already had/touched. We have no clue what the other people did to our bag while it was in their car. She didn't View this as a problem and then took the food back in and sent the other car hop that went to the other car to say that they didn't do that, when there are literally windows and we watched the transaction. Yes, in fact, that was exactly how it happened. So-- gave cars contaminated food, then lied about it even though we watched them do it, and then didn't view it as a problem. Another guy came out while the second girl was there and was more receptive, and immediately said they certainly don't mind making it fresh, and then left us with the girl that didn't care. So.. yeah, mistakes happen, but there are still heath codes that should places should adhere to and multiple other places have said we can't take food back. If you're going to employ clueless teenagers, at least hire managers to keep them from doing stupid stuff and then lying so the whole place looks worse. I know it's fast food, but jeez, have some integrity. Edit: THEN the tater tots and fries were gross like they were cooked in old grease or something. The bacon was just nasty can't even describe it and the burger was dry. Don't actually think they remade it and would not order it again. read more

I am very disappointed in this locations service. They are one of the few fast food restaurants in the area that stay open till 11pm on the weekdays. I went there to get myself and my fiancé some food for dinner when I got off work. All the light were off at 10:45pm, 15 mins before they are closed. Once I hit the button I was greeted with a rude employee stating that they are closed, once I said that "it says you don't close till 11", he replied "all we are selling is tea". If you are going to close early change your time of close so you don't waste peoples time or actually stay open till the time that you have stated. read more

Ummm...... I ordered a grilled double burger cheese or whatever the fuck you call it.,. meat wasn't cooked whatsoever and it tasted like it had been pulled out of a refrigerator... I asked for ONLY cheese and ketchup... THEY PUT EVERYTHING ON IT!!! i am ALLERGIC TO MUSTARD!!!!! 0/10 ...I also ordered Jumbo SAUCED popcorn chicken. key word-SAUCED- normally means i get the awesome sauce on them right??? I ordered a Jr. garlic butter bacon burger and it was so dry! No grilled onion only white diced onions and a small smear of mayonnaise. No flavor just bland. Worse burger ever! I also ordered a small m&m blast and the only m&m were on the top none in the blast!! read more

This is the worst sonic in desoto county. They are perpetually understaffed and so much as getting a single drink can cause you to wait 10 minutes just to find out it's wrong. The food rarely comes out hot, and again, more often than not, is also wrong. I suggest going to the sonic on airways if you just have to have sonic. At least they're considerably faster. read more

The food is ok, if they can get the order right. My suggestion to this Sonic, and all other fast food restaurants, is to simply shut up and listen to what I am trying to order. Let me tell you the entire order while you WRITE IT DOWN!!! Don't try to just memorize it. That never works and only makes you look stupid when the order is not correct. Also, don't keep asking me if I want cheese on everything. If I order a hamburger with ketchup only, believe it or not, it really does mean ketchup only! I want a bottom bun, a piece of meat, a squirt of ketchup, and a top bun. If I wanted cheese on it, I would have mentioned that I wanted cheese. Where do I begin?... I thought these drive-ins where supposed to be fast food. I ordered food and waited a good while. I finally got it and it looked like my milkshake sat in a sauna for 30 mins. If I wanted chocolate milk I would have went to a cornerstore. I tried to change my order the carhop insisted that she would fix it, so I went to change it to just get a drink and there were 10 milkshakes sitting there on the counter. I stayed at the hotel next to this sonic so we decided to have breakfast there. As a previous sonic employee from TN my expectations are pretty high as to how I should be treated and how the food should taste. This is probably the worst sonic I have EVER been too. Not only were the employees rude as hell but it was probably the worst sonic food I've ever eaten. Do us all a favor and get some employees that know what a smile is and go over protocol for how to cook the food with your employees again. read more
