We went to a Grizzlies game the other day, and we had a great time! The FedEx Forum hosts several events and concerts throughout the year, and is home to the Memphis Grizzlies. There is a parking garage attached to the building and several lots within walking distance. Prior to entry, you go through security. The clear bag policy is enforced, and you can find a clear bag at most beauty supply stores for around $10. The interior is spacious, clean, and there are plenty of food and beverage options available. The viewing screens are large with crisp imaging. Pricing depends on the event and seating choice, and you can purchase tickets in person or online. As an added bonus, the Fedex Forum is right next to Beale Street. read more

Bustling area I'm unsure if it's because I went at the beginning of a busy weekend. It was a bit chaotic, and the activities were in no particular order. They announce the clear bag policy and the sizes while you enter. The seats are easy to find, and they are comfortable with enough space that you don't have to get up for someone to pass constantly. It's nice and clean inside. I didn't see the restroom because the line was long. Also, I didn't see anyone selling drinks or popcorn from the seats. But I saw lots of delicious ice cream and food from the concession stand. Some of the staff were very helpful and kind The music was really good. The DJ's selection of music was great, and the vibes of the crowd and fans made the experience lots of fun. read more

Frontman clearly had a sinus infection and they should've postponed the show. I drove 7 hours for a subpar performance.

We'd never attended anything more than basketball games but one of our favorite comedians (Jim Gaffigan) was playing so bought tix 4 months ahead! Bottom line - this is a good place for such events. The acoustics were excellent, and (assuming this is a Forum thing and not just the comedian), there were large screens where you could see the comedian. Controlled by computers, you always saw his face, no matter which way he was facing on stage. An excellent thing. read more

Have been here many times, but this last time was the first time I smelled marijuana inside of the arena and also saw smoke. How is this possible? I attended a concert and as usual mostly everything was fine. The sound was not the greatest as the music was louder than the performers' voices for most of the concert. I am not sure if this is on the forum's crew or the entertainers' crew, but it was definitely off. Of course, I recommend attending events at this venue, but I think they should do a better job of ensuring that all visitors are comfortable. I am pretty sure that this is a drug/smoke free building. read more

Very clean venue. This is NOT A clear bag venue although it says so in multiple parts of their website. It depends on which door person you go through which could be a safety issue. I noticed many regular purses after I searched high and low for a clear purse to appropriately match my concert attire. I ended up opting to carry mine, my daughter & her friends belongings in my coat pockets to make check in faster. I also did not have our tickets scanned once we got to our section to ensure we were in the correct area- which thankfully we were and did not have to move around. If I ever return to Memphis, section 110 is PERFECT visibility. The concert was magnificent as expected! Thanks again Memphis and FedExForum for bringing Jhene Aiko to town. read more

We came for a comedy show. The place was clean. Check in was fast. This is a clear bag facility. They had displays outside showing what bags were acceptable. The staff was welcoming. They lost a star because there were limited food options open at this event. Will I be back ? Yes. But depending on the event, I will be sure to eat first read more

I went to the Grizzlies game tonight and had a great time. Even though they lost it was an entertaining game and I enjoyed every minute. Grizz players put in 100% effort and the DJ played fire music. Parking was easy find around the arena. Concession stand food was delicious and reasonable priced. People in the stands were nice and friendly. The arena is very small compared to where I'm used to (United Center - Chicago Bulls), but an amazing arena nonetheless. We recently went to a Playoffs Game here. It was Round 2 Game 1 Warriors vs Grizzle's. Atmosphere: Walking from the parking lot to the arena was amazing everything was set up so perfectly I wanted to actually stay outside, but it was too hot lol. After walking in we got in pretty smoothly with no issues. The music was blasting and super loud which I loved. After thing was amazing! We finally got to experience the PLAYOFF ATMOSPHERE. While traveling for work I had the opportunity to visit the FedEx Forum for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly the locals in Memphis are. I was gifted front seat tickets to a Memphis Grizzlies basketball game held at the FedEx Forum by a friendly local for being a visitor! This nice gesture presents Southern hospitality at its finest. If you need help, just ask a local. They'll most likely answer your question and probably a bunch of other ones you didn't know you had. Upon arrival, locating parking can be a bit tricky. It's not a secret that Memphis has a fairly high crime rate, so as a tourist there are definitely parts of Memphis you should avoid and be aware of your surroundings. Follow event instructions and recommendations. I recommend asking any present law enforcement or staff for directions, but preferably plan ahead and check out the event parking details online for the recommended parking lots in the area . There are some yards monitored by individuals attempting to get tourist to park with them for a fee but you are parking at your own risk (unknown ownership and safety). Entering the building is hassle free. Guests scan their mobile tickets at the turnstile to enter the building. The FedExForum is now Cashless and fully Digital. If you buy your ticket in person it will be sent via text to your mobile device. If you are planning to frequent this venue multiple times download the grizzlies App easily reserve parking and load your digital wallet. Classic concessions are offered here, as well as new menu features and alcoholic drinks. The arena is updated and designed to offer visitors good seating views whether nose bleeds or front seating at a great price. The facilities are clean and plenty of personnel available to help you find your seating . The forum is conveniently in downtown at walking distance from Beale Street which tends to be very busy, but there is sense of relief due to high patrol presence. There should be a common travel sense, try not to walk around alone at night, or stray far from the tourist areas. Keep in mind not to keep valuables in plain sight in your vehicle and on your person. Nevertheless Memphis offers so much culture to experience and fun attractions to enjoy. Love the FedEx Forum! I've been to several different kinds events here. Played in the band here in college in support of the Memphis Tigers. I also had my commencement here. Safe to say I practically live at the forum lol. Always try to get there early because parking can be a pain regardless of the event. Getting through security and getting tickets scanned often moves swiftly and smoothly. There are several places to eat and grab souvenirs (depending on the event). Pricing is a bit steep for food, but it's what you'd expect for a big arena. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Just about all the seats have a good view (even the nosebleeds). My husband and I are in Memphis for a couple days. After walking by Fedex Forum he decided to look up who plays there. After never having gone to an NBA game, he purchased tickets to the 8pm Grizzlies vs Bulls game. Arrival to the stadium was quick and easy. The stadium looked clean and the employees were all super friendly. The subtraction of stars is due to the fact they sell food and beer but do not allow you to bring it to your seats... I get it is due to Covid but come on...we ended up leaving at half time because we had other stops we wanted to make. We didn't realize those rules were in effect until we purchased a round of drinks which we had to chug and stuff our faces with to get back to our seats in time for the start of the game. Absolutely loved! You have to visit...any event will bring you total joy and excitement. Well maintained, the staff is courteous and steeped in hospitality. Plenty of parking at a reasonable price and close in proximity to the stadium and Beale street. However once inside the Forum your mind will quickly shift to the event at hand. We were able to go through quickly using our cellphone to scan which is a must to have ready. Covid protocols is a little relax, but You must continue to wear your mask. I wish there were more vegan friendly options besides fries, but I'm use to eating before going. As we were walking the concourse we came across my son pictures on the wall from the Grizzlies Scholars Program! He now think he's a celebrity go and experience this totally awesome forum. read more

I've enjoyed the Forum since it opened. Been to many Tiger and Griz games, several concerts. Went this week to a Tigers game. $11.50 for a beer is ridiculous. And, most stands only have a 20 or 24 ounce tall can. You have to search and search for a draft, and, those are $11.50 too. Rendevous sausage & cheese plate, you guessed it. And, it had 5 thin strips of cheese, maybe 1 slice effectively, and, 2 WHOLE packs of saltines. WOO HOO. 4 crackers in total. Hell of a deal, hell of a deal. My heart will always be with the Staples Center (now Crypto.com arena) but FedExForum is a great replacement. I've been to multiple events here, but mostly Grizz basketball. There are so many good places to eat, but it can be pricy so you must pick and choose. You are literally steps away from Beale street so if you are coming to visit, be sure to make time to check out ALL that Memphis has to offer mane! I came to the FedEx Forum to see a Tool concert on 01/31/2020. I arrived early and had no issues with guest services or security, checking into building. Since I was early, I decided to walk around the building to check out the arena. Overall it was a nice building. Plenty of food areas to eat and lots of beer stands. They even had a beer garden section of Wiseacre Brewing. This was my favorite part, as there were plenty of seats to hangout in this area, as well as games to play, and awesome beer selections to chose from. The bathrooms were kept clean. I did not try any of the food choices, as I ate prior to going in. The concert experience was excellent. We had seats in the lower bowl section, and was very close to the stage. The sound, lighting, and visuals were amazing. I really enjoyed the live performance here. I had a fun time in this venue for sure. read more

This is basically a whole Forum of people that give meals to their former flames. Hence "Fed Ex Forum." A much beloved music venue which is where a lot of Arena artists play when they come to Memphis. I like it and I think that it has pretty good Acoustics and there's a reason why everybody absolutely loves this venue more than most venues. Soooo, today's visit to the FedEx Forum was not for the game, but to pick up tickets for the Tickets for Kids program. For the past three years I have partnered with the Memphis Grizzlies to provide a holistic experience for children in underprivileged circumstances. However, I have visited the FedEx Forum for games, concerts, and social events. Each time , the staff has been friendly and helpful. They have several booths located through the forum for everyone's convenience. When I come with a group of students, they are always amazed at the bright lights and excitement! It is such a fulfilling experience for me to give them the opportunity. I would recommend arriving early for a good parking space. Their is a $5-$20 fee depending on where you park, so be prepared for that. read more

There's not a bad place to sit in the arena. If you sit within the first several rows on the sideline you have in seat waiting service. Yes, when your watching the Grizzlies in the Grindhouse, it pretty much has the energy of GnR's "In the Jungle" during the whole game- and no, you're not gonna die. Even if you're wearing the opponent's shirt (as we wore our NOLA Pelicans' wear that day). FedExForum is a great place to catch the Grizzlies, a-okay in my book. I liked the map of food options throughout the arena. Service is hit or miss- people at Vergos' Rendezvous booth were great, the high school girl working the soda stand, not so much. Also cool was the Grind & Dine sign of food vendors throughout the stadium, but it was slightly out of date. Still, I found Rendezvous, and had some of the best Nachos ever- pulled pork atop melted cheese with jalapenos, dusted with Vergos' signature rub. Heaven. Possibly the best Nachos, ever. Bought our seats easily, online. I love the open area in front of the Forum, and it even allows drop offs in front, which is nice to see in this post 9/11 era. Meh. We went to the JT concert and while the venue itself was ok, with decent seating (though not overly impressive) and friendly folks working there, the temperature inside was about 10,000 degrees. I legit almost passed out and had to spend the 2nd half of the concert listening from the hall. Even out there it was hot. I saw more people come out to the hall sweating and fanning and doing everything possible not to faint. ALL the employees complaining and miserable. Overall, it was not really enjoyable due to the lack of temperature control. Wayyy too damn hot, FedEx Forum. read more
