    Wrongly sauced.

    I love how I got two sweet and spicy sauced items whenever I wanted I clearly wanted honey BUTTER wings with that sauce on the side, idk why the employees there can't do their job properly but that's truly disappointing. Including the sandwich being not what I wanted it's truly sadly to not be able to do a minimal job of fast as I've served in the same field.

    Listen, I love a Whataburger like any other Texan. Who doesn't love the tatste of their burgers, so different from any other chain? They have some great options, unlike other "special sauce" establishments who don't serve mayonnaise... I mean, what burger place doesn't have mayonnaise?!?! Y'all know who I'm talking about. I digress. Dear Whataburger on Montfort Drive. I've been willing to overlook your long lines, your cold food and the occasional items you forgot to put in my beautiful orange and white paper bag. Not to mention not getting my order right at times. But when you mess with a chili and cheese connoisseur, you have really crossed the line. I mean, what kind of chili and cheese fries are these??? I don't even want to say much because the picture says it all, but man, that chili wasn't even good at all. I have a feeling they scraped the bottom dry bits of the chili pan and tried to pass it off as chili. Shame on you Whataburger on Montfort Drive. You had me at chili and then you didn't.

    I was planning on overlooking the terrible customer service until I got home and took the first sip of my sweet tea and almost swallowed a whole gulp of sugar that was sitting in the bottom of my cup, the customer service was bad soon as I got to the window. The young guy working the window must have been having a horrible day or he just needs an attitude adjustment, one of the two! I also asked for some ketchup at the speaker and had to ask again at the window which turned into me waiting 5 minutes to only receive ONE Ketchup. The service is ridiculous.

    I luvvvv whataburger!!! Hands down my fav burger place, great food and friendly people. I can't wait to go back to Texas to get some more!!!

    This is where this second unsuccessful attempt in making a chocolate malt served with poor to non-existent customer service.

    Review has nothing to do with COVID. Use of drive through with insignificant traffic. Clearly ordered a large chocolate malt. The order taker repeated "large chocolate shake. That will be $4.10". I corrected him on the spot that I wanted a malt and not a shake. He replied, "Right, malt." After a significant delay given there was only a single car in front of me in line I was finally provided my order and receipt. The receipt said the order was for a shake and not a malt. I sampled my order and it was just a shake and was not a malt as I had ordered and confirmed. I drove back through the drive through to have my order corrected. Over the speaker I advised of the error and that I was given a shake instead of a malt. Was asked to drive around and the order would be corrected. This was at 9:05 PM. There were no other vehicles in line or at the window. It took over 8 minutes to supposedly make the malt. No apologies or word about the incorrect order. Upon leaving the queue I tasted the drink. It was another shake without any malt added. There was, however, an over abundance of chocolate syrup. It was another shake. I called to speak with the general manager and informed he had left for the day. I then asked the woman who answered my call to let me speak with the senior manager on duty. With literally a "huff" I was told to "hold on". When the manager picked up, I explained the problem. Without any acceptance of the issue. I was interrupted and told that she knew I was given a malt because she "heard" them talking about it. I told her again that I know what a Whataburger malt is supposed to taste like. I told here there was no malted flavor to the order, only excessive chocolate syrup. She completely dismissed the complaint. I let her know I would not be driving back to have it fixed a second time and would just call corporate. She replied, "fine". I'm still waiting to speak with corporate customer service. I've been waiting over 20 minutes as of this writing. Just another example of how downhill Whataburger has gone. By the number of low reviews for this location, I see I'm not the only one drawing attention to the extremely poor service. They won't have to worry about getting my order correct the next time. There will be no "next time". I will take my business one block away to Sonic. Sure, they do not offer malts, but they do offer shakes made with real ice cream instead of a synthesized approximation at a better price. Sonic on Montfort offers better food at a better price with supremely better customer service. Caveat emptor

    Very clean!

    The restaurant and the bathroom were both very clean. There was a long drive through line so we came inside, Justice - this is the employee that took our order. He wasn't over friendly but he wasn't rude by any means, he seems very knowledgeable and gave us fast efficient service. Our food came out in about 10 mins. Food was good! As expected. This is one of the best Whataburgers I've been to in this area. Very satisfied!

    Try to order food. They said they not taking orders. I thought this was suppose to be 24/7. Not even an apology.

    Order was wrong and was given cold food. The staff gave me a shake with the cup dirty. Had to ask several times for ketchup and the receipt.

This location specifically does a decent job handling orders (both dine-in and online). The cauliflower takes a bit longer, so expect to wait if you order it. The ambiance is nice - this location feels a lot more open and spacious than other ones. The tables are always clean and well-maintained. My go-to order is a cauliflower slider (Hot) with the cauliflower bites (Medium). I crave this constantly and can only hope it stays on the menu permanently this time! -1 star because one employee made a rude comment to me when I was trying to see if my online order was on the shelf (not touching anything, just looking at the receipts) and I was met with "Don't even think about it!" in a really condescending tone. We were in a rush and it was well past the completion ETA, I was just trying to see if our order was even ready. Obviously I wouldn't be touching anyone's bag. They would benefit more from a system like sweetgreen or CAVA where you can just grab your bag and go. It seems counterintuitive to have to wait in a line of people ordering just to get your online order.
