I was planning on overlooking the terrible customer service until I got home and took the first sip of my sweet tea and almost swallowed a whole gulp of sugar that was sitting in the bottom of my cup, the customer service was bad soon as I got to the window. The young guy working the window must have been having a horrible day or he just needs an attitude adjustment, one of the two! And the replacement food after sending back the first order wasn't much better. I was told that they don't have the chili cheese burger yet, despite having a HUGE menu board up for it above the registers, multiple full window clings advertising it, and they were sending out coupons to the nearby neighborhoods. I was understanding and just asked if I could get another burger instead. The cashier looked at me like I was crazy and then went to get the manager. After waiting around for at least 5 full minutes, the "manager" arrived and told me "we don't have any chili yet" - I asked again, "could I get the another burger instead, or just that burger without the chili?" The manager replied with a one word answer, "No." So I left. You're in the business of customer service. At least try. read more

I have eaten at dozens of Whataburgers all around the country that have added up to thousands of orders. The three worse experiences I have had at Whataburger have all occurred at this location. I've seen the front door shut and locked in my girlfriends face while she attempted to pick up a mobile order. We then had to wait half an hour in the drive thru line while our food got cold. The next time I had a mobile order and was told I was at the wrong location when I arrived to pick it up. After I confirmed that wasn't the case and began to question the manager where my order was I saw an employee pull my whole order from under the counter when the manager wasn't looking and then lie to both of us by saying the name on the order and the name I gave the employee was different. The last time I had a single whataburger meal that I ordered after the lunch rush at approximately 2pm. I waited in an empty store for close to 30 minutes while my order was made. When the manager finally brought out my order she apologized and said I deserved it to be comped but that she didn't have the authority to do that for me and I would have to call customer service. I wholeheartedly believe that was a lie. This is the closest Whataburger to my home so I now only eat Whataburger when I'm away from home or if I'm really craving it I will drive 10 minutes further up the road to another location. Review has nothing to do with COVID. Use of drive through with insignificant traffic. Clearly ordered a large chocolate malt. The order taker repeated "large chocolate shake. That will be $4.10". I corrected him on the spot that I wanted a malt and not a shake. He replied, "Right, malt." After a significant delay given there was only a single car in front of me in line I was finally provided my order and receipt. The receipt said the order was for a shake and not a malt. I sampled my order and it was just a shake and was not a malt as I had ordered and confirmed. I drove back through the drive through to have my order corrected. Over the speaker I advised of the error and that I was given a shake instead of a malt. Was asked to drive around and the order would be corrected. This was at 9:05 PM. There were no other vehicles in line or at the window. It took over 8 minutes to supposedly make the malt. No apologies or word about the incorrect order. Upon leaving the queue I tasted the drink. It was another shake without any malt added. There was, however, an over abundance of chocolate syrup. It was another shake. I called to speak with the general manager and informed he had left for the day. I then asked the woman who answered my call to let me speak with the senior manager on duty. With literally a "huff" I was told to "hold on". When the manager picked up, I explained the problem. Without any acceptance of the issue. I was interrupted and told that she knew I was given a malt because she "heard" them talking about it. I told her again that I know what a Whataburger malt is supposed to taste like. I told here there was no malted flavor to the order, only excessive chocolate syrup. She completely dismissed the complaint. I let her know I would not be driving back to have it fixed a second time and would just call corporate. She replied, "fine". I'm still waiting to speak with corporate customer service. I've been waiting over 20 minutes as of this writing. Just another example of how downhill Whataburger has gone. By the number of low reviews for this location, I see I'm not the only one drawing attention to the extremely poor service. They won't have to worry about getting my order correct the next time. There will be no "next time". I will take my business one block away to Sonic. Sure, they do not offer malts, but they do offer shakes made with real ice cream instead of a synthesized approximation at a better price. Probably the worst Whataburger I've ever been to. I was I. The drive thru line just now for over half an hour. I went inside, as they asked me to wait in the side, because my food wouldn't come out. The cashier ignored me and tried to take someone's order (after I had waited) and wouldn't get the manager until I pushed. Eventually some girl came in (from outside the restaurant, who knows where she was). She asked "who am I talking to?" and I let her know I had waited 30 minutes for my food at the window. She took my receipt and walked away. Said nothing at all to me. Didn't apologize, didn't give me an update. I kept waiting and waiting and waiting, and eventually someone else brought my order to me. She never came to talk to me again. Worst part - the order wasn't even complete. Blanca does not seem to know how to manage a restaurant, and her workers don't seem to know what they're doing either. The restaurant and the bathroom were both very clean. There was a long drive through line so we came inside, Justice - this is the employee that took our order. He wasn't over friendly but he wasn't rude by any means, he seems very knowledgeable and gave us fast efficient service. Our food came out in about 10 mins. Food was good! As expected. Where do I start. If you have any self-respect or dignity, I plead with you NOT to work at his location. There have been problems revolving around Travis (the operating partner) since DAY ONE of him working at this location. From his blatant lack of respect for his employees; cursing us out, pillow talking with employees ABOUT other employees, (his own managers included) to his not-so-secret rendezvous with his employees, the list is never-ending and exhausting. Employees have cried while on shift because of his treatment and he would literally say he didn't care, then proceed to go about his day. Honestly, rendezvous is too innocuous of a term. He's had sex with his employee's, this itself coming straight from the donkey's mouth, bragging about it by showing videos and pictures. I'm not sure what has inclined him to move so brazenly. His lack of respect for his employees has stemmed down to his managers, influencing them to exhibit the same behaviors. Gossiping about employees behind their back while conversating with other employees, just to turn around and smile in your face. The favoritism is beyond crazy, if they don't care much for you, don't expect your full hours or to be treated with human decency. Understandably, if the labor is high hours will have to be cut, but why do certain individuals repeatedly get sent home hours before their shift ends and your friends are clocking in two hours before their shift begins? Why do certain people slave doing a two-person job and you're sitting in the office? It's beyond unfair. CERTAIN managers will take extra money (if the drawer is over $100) out of cash drawers and pocket it. Are your bonuses not enough? Are your 40+ hours a week insufficient? How is that any different from when that specific trainer (your beloved friend) was stealing out of the drawers? Certain managers have also had liquor delivered while they were on the clock and proceeded to consume it with underage employees. Certain leaders will call you out of your name in text messages sent to other employees.
