Tried Burger House and it lived up to the hype. Burger was great tasting and cooked perfect. It has that real Texas burger flavor. I'd take this burger over Whataburger, no question. Chili cheese fries were really good. I was so hungry I didn't think about it being hot ended up burning my lips, but still kept eating because it tasted that good. Hotdog & Onion rings. Onion rings were a surprise. Took me straight back to the Santa Monica Pier. Something about them just hit memoryville. The hotdog had that old school flavor. Reminded me of when my mom would cut them up, throw some toothpicks on a plate, and add a big glob of ketchup. I'd take it outside and share with the neighborhood kids. Very disappointing experience. Sour burgers and way too salty fries. Less than desired service. Came here because it seemed to be a local chain based on a recommendation from a friend. The employee was very apathetic and left service to be desired. When my food was done and bagged and right in front of me, instead of giving it to me he left. I thought he was going to get ketchup or something but instead he went to stack chairs and then came back to hand me the bag. It boggles to me this day why he'd do that. I was the only car in line at the drive through. I was hoping the food would make up for it but the cheeseburger was way too sour with the mustard and pickles together. The Jack's fries had promising seasoning but were way too salty. Basically inedible. I had a stomachache later that night either from the sourness of the burger, the saltiness of the fries, or both. First off my hot dog I got the chili cheese dog no mustard or onions for me. It felt like really bad. They put it in a tray or like a plate actually, but it was so greasy and hot that it got stuck and just tore apart the entire the entire hot dog. I had to eat it with a fourth but overall service was oddly quick. The fries were seasoned well of course they never failed to season it but my poor hotdog the inside was very nice pretty small. It's just that we need to do it better at least not put it in a plate. Had a nice meal at Burger House in Addison. The place was clean, the menu had a good variety, and the prices were definitely reasonable for the quality. I ordered a burger that was flavorful and cooked well, though I forgot to ask for no mustard, so that was on me. Still, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the fries were solid too. The staff was friendly and service was quick, which made the whole experience easy and pleasant. The space itself could use slightly better ventilation and the bathrooms could be a bit fresher, but nothing that would stop me from coming back. Excellent service. Friendly and helpful. Active cleaning in between guests, no catsup puddles on these tables. Delicious 100% beef burger. Thin griddle-grilled patty, and I got the onions grilled, too. Very good!! Shoestring seasoned fries with just the right amount of crunch and multiple flavors of milk shakes with REAL ice cream. There was a steady stream of customers while I was there but my order came up fresh from the grill in under 5 minutes. Probably more like 3 or 4 minutes. I had just enough time to pay, get catsup & find a table, and Ring a Ding DING! My order was already up! Little girl near us devoured her "yummy" chicken strips. Grilled chicken option, too. Cute little burger joint. We got stuck in the Addison area during rush hour traffic and I wanted a real burger while we took a driving break. Found this little gem on Google. After seeing Burger House on D Magazines best burgers list, I made my way here to see what they had going on. I came in around 1P to quite a crowd inside and a little line wrapped around their drive through, good sign in my opinion. The menu offers many different things but I kept it simple and ordered a double cheeseburger easy mustard with grilled onions, a fry and fountain drink. Everything came to under $20 so I was pleased with the pricing. BH has ample seating in the front where you order and around the corner of the condiment bar they have more seating. While waiting for my food, I took a look around. Definitely has an old school feel to the place, though it could be cleaner; I had to wipe down my own table and the blinds had food particles and dust that settled on them. With that being said my food was done pretty quickly and it looked great. The burger and fries did not disappoint! Both were piping hot. The burger was so good, meaty and so cheesy and I appreciated the toasted bun. I really liked that the grilled onions were diced and the veggies tasted fresh. I really enjoyed the fries as well as the seasoning. The Barq's root beer which is my favorite root beer brand was the icing on the cake for the meal. This was a great, no frills burger and I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. read more

The meat is smaller than the bun, unseasoned, and worst of all they dry grill the bun ON THE OUTSIDE making it crunchy and dry. I love Burger House. The service is always good & the prices are decent. The food has always been very hot and fresh, and your food comes quickly after ordering. I'm actually not generally a burger person, but I really like Burger House's cheeseburgers. Their chicken tender basket is also good & that's what I usually get. My favorite part is the fries because of the seasoning they use. I had a couple bites of a friend's chili cheese fries from here last week & it was SO good- I'll have to order that for myself next time. Quick drive to the airport and saw this place pop up for a drive thru burger. I saw a lot of reviews and decided to try for myself. The young man taking the order was very nice and helpful. I ordered a simple cheeseburger and medium onion rings. Lots of good reviews so bad my hopes up. The order took less than 5 minutes and nobody ahead of me on a Thursday night. Looked great and would see how it delivered on the drive to Love Field. I liked the onion rings but wayyyyy too much salt. Almost to a point that I was going to stop eating them. They would have been really good with even 1/2 that salt. Then I tried the burger. The patty is pretty small compared to the bun. I liked the bun it wasn't even that thick. Then the damn salt!!!! First time to try Burger House and had kind of mixed results. Actually, everything was pretty good except for the onion rings. They tasted like they had been fried in the same oil as fish. I don't know for sure if this is the case, but that was kind of the aroma, as my wife thought they smelled fishy. Anyway I would not order the onion rings again. They were also a little soggy. Everything is made to order so it takes a minute to get your food, but well worth the wait in most cases. And it's also going to be pricier than most fast food burger joints. Dining room was L-shaped and clean. Waitstaff were very friendly. The cheeseburger is very tasty, but I actually didn't think it had a full quarter pound of meat. I think I'd have to order a double next time. It felt like I was mostly eating bread, The french fries were very good but not remarkable. They have signs on the wall that say they were on the best french fry list in Dallas in 2010 and 2011 but I don't think I'd put them there . Firstly, burgers in Texas seem to be significantly cheaper than in California. We came here with the extended family and tried out their burgers. Double cheeseburger with bacon and grilled onions was very good. Every bite had bacon, which doesn't happen with every burger that has bacon in it. Onion rings were amazing, some of the best I've ever tried. It's a cute little place that has been around for 70+ years. Has a retro feel to it. The wait is long as hell every time, not because it's busy, but because they make it fresh so it's piping hot when they hand it to you. I have never eaten a burger at the burger house. But I've eaten a hell of a lot of hot dogs. Finding a good chili cheese dog is way harder than it should be in Dallas. When specialty shops open they don't seem to survive. Not cheap dog places like you'd see in California or New York or the fancier chef places like Luscher's Red Hots that couldn't survive the influx of douches uptown-style places in Deep Ellum. This is a tiny little shop meant to resemble places from days of yore, I assume. It has an old school vibe like a shop you'd see on Route 66 or some other long abandoned highway across the west. They have root beer. Burgers. Fries. Shakes. Corn dogs. And a very good chili cheese dog. They may or may not have a burger with avocado or some such nonsense, but it's not really that kinda place. Well, it looks like Burger House has gone the way of many other restaurants post Covid! Raise the prices and reduce the quality of the product at the time is not exactly a winning strategy but it seems many have done just this. I had to chuckle at the $6 shake price as it reminded me of the restaurant scene from Pulp Fiction. That was where anything to chuckle about ended. First, the $6 shake...sure it was good but it' priced about double that of the other fast food joints and no, it was not twice as good, it was actually about the same. We had onion rings which were fine but the item your restaurant is named for, BURGER House was nothing even close to what you used to offer. Can you get the patty any thinner? Or any Dryer? There is a game, Where's Waldo....I have to ask, where is the cheese? It seemed as if there was only 1/2 a slice as most of the burger was cheese less!
