They messed up my order big time the burger was horrible but the fries were delicious

Normally this location in Dawsonville is amazing. But this morning, they are terrible. Taking forever to get my order. Several others waiting a while also. I can't see a single employee doing anything in the kitchen or trying to help customers. read more

To preface this there was only 3 -4 cars in the drive through when I arrived and 2 had already ordered and pulled forward. TERRIBLE customer service. I sat at the window for 15 minutes and was told "one second" every 3 minutes .Meanwhile the right lane had taken the order of 4 cars that came well behind me. I proceeded to the window after ordering and sat for ANOTHER 15 minutes when someone came to the window and ask " what did you order".... They need a better system or something because this is just unacceptable and awful. To top it off it the food was COLD.. ALL OF IT ... after a total of 45 minutes in the drive thru. I visited the brand new "WhataBurger" in Covington on Friday around 2:55 pm. I got the #2 combo which was almost $13 "just to mention that it was $.89 more on my receipt than the menu boards showed" I had tried it in Dallas a few months ago and was not impressed at all. So my expectations was already low, I GOT WHAT I EXPECTED...I saw "1" smile, dining area was clean, 50 or more team members, food nasty, 10 onion rings...The reason the manager gave to the trainer is too crazy to mention as to why the price is different on the menu board than the pos receipt. Have eaten at Whataburger for many years in Texas. This location has problems. There seems to be plenty of employees and they are very friendly but this is the slowest service I have ever seen. They have been open long enough to "get the bugs out". 25 minutes to get a dine in order? I understand the drive in lines for a new restaurant but this place has been open long enough. I can get food in 10 minutes ordering on the app for curbside delivery why can they not serve the inside diners quicker? Definitely needs managers that can get their service corrected before the flood of bad reviews does them in. Not typical for a Whataburger anywhere. read more

Service by Willete was awful, she is not a morning person and should not be given a manager position for whataburger, I'm from Texas this is not how a manager should treat future customers. Learn to bepatient willete, or look for another career and if a customer ask for something do not repeat what they ask for in a shocking manner. You are a service member service kindly next time. honestly I don't know what the hype is all about. They've been crazy busy since they opened and that's a good thing to see a business doing well. I drove by and although it was busy, it wasn't as bad as it's been so figured I would finally take the wait and try it. Sorry but there's no way this place is worth such a long wait. Maybe once they open inside it will help. The fries weren't anything special, nor were the chicken tenders or the burger. They didn't have the two things I wanted so had to get other things. At present, only the drive thru is available. When you come, make sure you have a full tank of gas. You're going to need it. I went one evening to get dinner. I was 6th in line and they only had 1 of 2 order lanes open. After 10 minutes, I had not moved up at all. Fortunately, since there was only one lane open and I hadn't moved up any, I was not imprisoned in the lane, so I opted to break free and get dinner elsewhere. Hoping it was a mere aberration, I returned the following morning at 6 AM for breakfast. Still only one lane open but my entry set me at fifth in line. With another car coming behind me shortly thereafter, I was officially locked in and couldn't escape without destruction of property. The previous night was not an aberration. I quickly regretted my decision. It took me 46 minutes to get my order. The people were friendly and courteous, so I can't claim otherwise. Once I got my food and took it home, I was sadly disappointed. The amount of bacon in my $7.50 bacon bowl was less than any Bacon-Egg-Cheese biscuit you'd get anywhere else. The cheese and the biscuit in the bowl were both very bland bland, and in the biscuit's case, dry. My drinks had been prepared apparently while the previous car(s) ahead of me waited for their food (everyone had to wait 8-10 minutes for their order). As a result, my drinks were already watered down from the melting ice. I also got a couple of burgers to sample for lunch. I had heard good things about them and was excited to see if they matched the hoopla. If you didn't know any better, you'd swear you're eating a Checker's burger. They are not bad (and by that, I also mean Checkers), but they did not live up to the hype surrounding it. I can not recommend this place based upon service time and quality of food, although the staff at the time was very pleasant in their job performance. read more

No reason this location needs two drive throughs or someone taking orders outside. Instead they should be warning people that if you go there past 7:00 it will take 2.5 HOURS TO GET TO THE WINDOW. Literally pulled in at 7:30 and pulled out at 9:45. PLUS, its landlocked so once someone is behind you, there's no leaving. Food was actually good though, like always. Need to work on timing, or at least have entertainment for the amount of time you have to wait! They're lucky I like the jalapeno ranch so much -_- read more

Buford, ga location, on Buford Hwy: Literally the worst fast food experience I have ever had. EVER. We visited this establishment excited to try for the first time. No one greeted us when we came in or even acknowledged we were standing there for at least 15 mins. We waited about an hr for A BLT and a patty melt that was pre-ordered 30 mins prior online. The food was cold and order was wrong after all that time. The manager that works the night shift, black man with faded style haircut, seemingly new and fresh out of training; remade our food. Then proceeds to snatch my original order from me, starts to be disrespectful because we weren't satisfied, becomes irate and yelling at myself and another couple in the restaurant. He then proceeds to call the police to remove us from the store after he blatantly disrespected, yelled and cursed in our faces. Staff does nothing but stand around in the back, stare at customers and does not help. They also make their employees food FIRST, hot and fresh before servicing anyone else; all in front of your face. Management is a complete joke and out of their league. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. I ordered my food at 3:53pm to go didn't receive my order until 4:40pm on Sunday 05/21/23 went on the inside b/c the drive thru was way to long. I ordered a #1, add cheese #5 and a kids meal total was $34 and some change. I received cold food no cheese on the #1 my cup had a lip stick print on the cup didn't realize it until someone pointed it out I was home at that point. I have been sitting in the drive-through line for 43 minutes and I'm still five cars away from getting my meal. Chick-fil-A would've had six times as many cars already served in this amount of time. When I arrived, I believe there were around 15 to 18 cars in line. They have one person taking orders and one person bringing meals to your car. The employee that took our order was friendly. Food is ok, but the big draw for me was the Dr Pepper shake. They are definitely having a hard tome with staffing needs and we're overwhelmed with the number of cars in the two drive-thru lanes, about 40 cars. I was the 12th vehicle in line at the drive-through and, from the time I arrived in line to the time I received my order, it was a total of 27minutes...THIS IS NOT FAST FOOD! To make the experyeven worse...my burger was served cold! If you are making burgers to order; how do you serve them COLD?!?! I don't really ever write reviews but please trust me when I say DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!! I've worked in food service and customer service in general for most of my life, so I never expect workers to be overly nice or accommodating because i know it's a difficult and demanding job where you can't be nice all the time. However, I do always try to greet workers as nicely as I can even if it's not returned. This time it was not only not returned but met with a crazy attitude unprovoked. Wilette was my cashier (she also appears to be the operating manager) and she just seemed super annoyed from the start. That's fine, but when she asked for my name I said it to her loudly and she replied with "who?". My name is not an english name so I'm used to interactions like this but when i repeated it she still didn't seem to understand and didn't ask how to spell it or anything. 45 minutes later i'm waiting on 1 burger meal and a side of fries. My friend went up to the counter to ask and they said that they couldn't find the person's order because no name was attached. So she didn't even try to put a name on my order and is the reason i was waiting for so long. Our food was lukewarm and tasted like mcdonald's. None of this is the workers' fault. I feel like often times upper management are the worst employees and this is one of those examples. Not sure why we were treated this way, the only reason i could come to was honestly homophobiaIdk. Wow what a Wait for a burger. The hype is overrated. 1st visit - Bacon Cheese burger meal. The meat is thin, overcooked, blah, not too fresh bun. The bacon is a thicker style. The fries were not great (institutional) and the drink was huge. SO if you like huge soda's. THIS is your place, maybe. It wasn't crowded but the drive thru took forever! 2nd visit - because maybe it was just a short staffed day the first time and I felt like I should give a different menu item a chance since the burger defiantly wasn't worth having. I got the Grilled chicken, Lettuce, and American cheese. This time I tried the onion rings and opted for a small drink but...it's the same price as the medium the "meal" comes with. Okay fine, I took the 32 oz Medium drink. (way to go America). The chicken was much better than the beef burger. The onion rings, although something from a mass supplier, weren't bad and definately better than fries. But here is why I won't be back. Only 4 people eating inside, yet the drive through wait was over 38 minutes and I was only 6-cars back x 2 lanes (12 cars, but noted my lane was 3 cars faster so really 9 or 10 cars back) but it was moving at a Snails Pace! Do they not start making ANYTHING before the order is taken? Move the order takers further from the window then, so the kitchen has a chance. Holy moly Wait on a Burger...fix this. BTW. I ordered on the app ahead of getting to the order taker as I had Plenty of Time. There are much better and Much faster burger and chicken fast food nearby. Good luck. read more
