Horrible service and order is 9 times out of 10 wrong. I bring tons of business, I should say brought a lot of business and these guys do a shitty job at preparing the order(s) correctly. Furious that it continues to happen over and over again. Plain and dry with cheese only should be a no brainer. Yet for some reason it is at this location. I've been here dozens of times. The drive through is literally always backed up because they're slow. They get my order right about 80% of the time (wrong size or wrong drink 20% of the time). The occasional wrong order is pretty typical of most fast food places and I accept the slower than average drive through service. BURGER REVIEW: So, I had the pleasure of introducing my mom to Whataburger. They don't seem to have them in Richmond VA, while they're ubiquitous in Texas. I opted for the Chophouse Cheddar Burger, and it delivered. This, once again, falls under the category of "I hope my cardiologist doesn't read this"--A blissful double patty topped with grilled onions, bacon, and a steak sauce (I can't recall if they advertised that it's A-1 or not, but it's tasty!) You know there's gonna be a 10-15 car wait after 9pm because it is so every day and yet, month after month you refuse to open up the second drive through lane that you have ready to go because you refuse to allocate enough staff to actually accommodate your rush hours. So why does the order taker ask what kind of drink then?? Sure that should be no big deal - BUT IT IS - because if he would actually listen to my burger order instead of only caring about the drink (that I never ordered) then MAYBE he could get my burger right. I said extra cheese and he repeated the extra cheese part - but he was expecting me to order a combo, and therefore he screwed up - had to tell me he would have my total at the window.....WHY? Man almost every time i been here in the last two weeks, which is several unfortunately, from the moment i order until i get to the window is AT LEAST 15 min. This location has gone downhill in the last two months. The employees used to be up beat and super friendly and smiling with positive energy. This guy just now looked mad as hell, didn't say anything. I was super friendly and polite, thank you sir, i appreciate you sir, have a good night. Didn't say a damn word. Common courtesy and common sense is something they don't have here anymore. Management needs major help here. Because the fast friendly crew i used to get, are all gone. I went to order 2 number 13 orders with 6 extra strips and told the workers I wanted ketchup with my order , I go to the window and ask for honey mustard and he says he has to charge me 35 cents for 2 and then the guy ask if I want ketchup and only gives me 2 regular and 2 spicy if your gonna charge extra for 2 sauces at least give out enough sauce and not be so stingy , I told the guy I wanted extra ketchup and he slammed the window on my face while I was talking. This is my "go-to" location, even though it's a bit further from my house than two others. The one closest to my house has never been great and the next closest always seems to be powerwashing their parking lot whenever I show up, so this has become my destination. The food is always hot and fresh. The orders are prepared to perfection. Unlike some fast food locations, there's always management on location and the staff turnover seems minimal. And unlike some Whataburgers, this one has a 24 hour dining room. Even nicer, it's kept clean. Whataburger is the quintessential Texas burger and this is a near-perfect location. I've heard a lot of good things about Whataburger. Around midnight the day after we moved into our house, we decided to check it out. I had the chicken and biscuit. My husband had a burger. I didn't realize the chicken came on a buttered biscuit. I'm not a fan of a lot of butter on bread, especially with chicken. I took a bite and couldn't eat it. The texture and taste didn't sit well with me. My husband suggested I remove the breading on the chicken and eat it only. I did and it wasn't bad at all (hence the 3 stars). I did taste my husband's sandwich, which was okay. It wasn't the worst burger I've eaten or the best. Overall the food was so-so. read more

I've tried out different Whataburgers in the area based on speed, quality of service, and food quality. I must say, this one actually tops them all! I went here a couple nights ago and got through the drive-thru in under 5 minutes (usually I spent 15-20 at the Bell Blvd location or 10-15 at the Parmer location) with hot fries and hot burgers, plus the cashier at the window was extremely friendly. I highly recommend going to this Whataburger over the others in the area if possible. read more

However, it took another 8 minutes for them to get her food out, during which time the line backed up around the building. Usually when fast food places are in high traffic areas they are fast.... not here. Slow as slow can be. I came at 3 on a Monday, and might get thru the drive thru by 3:30...... very slow.... When you place an order, they will not tell you how much it is, it's like they want to surprise you at the window. I only get an hour lunch......
