20 minute wait for something that's supposed to be considered "fast food" is ridiculous. Id usually be able to excuse it but there was no one in line and on top of that they got my burger wrong and I had to wait even longer to get my meal. This is a big reason I try my best not to come to Whataburger, even when they're slow, they're slow to bring the food out. I only really came thinking it was going to be quick since no one was in line. Unfortunately my experience with this one is always the same. This is actually the worst whataburger I think I've ever been to. How is it possible to type my order correct on the receipt and proceed to give me the wrong order with it. Almost every time I make my way to Texas I gotta make a stop at Whataburger. This is my In-N-Out away from In-N-Out with more choices. This location is in an area that in not convenient for an easy exit because it is on a one way street that leads to a major freeway that requires you to turn around to come back. Also the wait times at this location were atrocious. I would rather wait at the DMV than wait forever and a day for a single burger. What can I say, the food is Whataburger. Nothing tastes better than a Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit right at 11pm. Unfortunately the advertised "11pm-11am" time for serving breakfast doesn't apply here. Seems that management believes they can let their employees operate whenever they please. Tonight I worked an event at Globe Life Field and there was a Whataburger food truck there. All night I am smelling the grill. Naturally I have a craving for what else but Whataburger. I finish my workday and hope in my truck and head straight here. I decided to go in and order instead of wait in the drive through. I walk in up to the counter there are three employees around a register talking to a young man. No one acknowledges me, the conversation goes on. I discover that the young man works there. I finally gathered that two of the employees were ordering for their break. After that the young man flips the screen over and starts an order for himself. Mind you I am still standing there, other employees walk up. I am invisible the manager walks up and asks them what's going on. I am still invisible. I turned around walked into the restroom which was clean. This is the only bright spot of the review. I exit the building get in my truck and write this lovely review. It's not that I don't mind waiting, I am just Ben for the employees getting their meals first. They have a short window to eat. It's the very in professional display and disregard for a customer. When o was sixteen I worked at a Jack In The Box. We goofed off too, yet the manager would have never let us ignore a customer. Just a simple hello sir, I will be with you in just a second. The sad thing is I still want a meal. This store could take a look at how most Chick-fil-A's are run. Possibly apply some of the same principles of service. read more

Owner of this franchise and str mgr does not give af! Waited over an hour in the drive thru and there wasn't even an event near by at the stadium or ballpark. It wasn't after bar hrs either. They should staff more employees to adhere to the idea of "fast food". they're blatantly taking advantage of the local over populated demographic of consumers. Of course the Order was not right and I had to wait more time for them to fix it. Fries were cold and stale. Asked for fresh ones and waited 5 more minutes just to be given more cold stale fries. We stopped late night on Tuesday. The burgers were awful. There's was no mustard or mayo on either. But the worst thing was the salt. I go to this location because it is really close to my house. Nothing ever stood out about them until recently, I went to the drive thru to pick something and I wound up waiting longer than usual for my order. When I was given my order I was told that the manager had written on my receipt that I could get a free meal because I had to wait so long. I thought that was nice and figured that it was just an empty gesture and they would never live up to it. Today, I went back for my burger fix and brought the receipt with me and when I gave it to them I didn't expect them to follow through with their offer. I love Whataburger but the employees don't appear to have any sense of urgency for the customers and food process. Cashiers are dont seem to care to much of there occupation either. While I waited for 30+ minutes on food, I also noticed how there was 5 cars in the drive through and maybe 6 customers in the lobby. Forgot items on my order, the clocking in employees seemed to not care either while the manager joked and and spent more time talking to her friends at work than actually working. I asked politely if I could wait until the food was ready to pay (because the car in front of me paid and then waited 26 minutes until they got their food) and the manager came up and said if I didn't pay right then he would have a police officer arrest me...
