I was craving a good burger to enjoy for my trip back home. This burger place was suggested to me other than going to other popular burger, places around here. Getting to the restaurants extremely easy and when you walk inside, it's open and bright and welcoming. The workers are hard-working and will explain the menu to you if you need help. I got a Philly cheesesteak and there was delicious. Honestly it was the best tasting Philly I have had in a long time! The onion rings were hot, crunchy and big! The owner/manager is there most days and the food is always fresh and delicious with Nolan Ryan Beef which is natural grass fed so when I do eat a burger this one is always one of the options I choose from. Driving through, we sought out a good burger place, and this did not disappoint. Some of the fluffiest sweet potato fries I've ever had!

Never been here before but wanted to try their veggie burger. My son and I were not disappointed. Probably the best veggie burger I've ever had. My husband had the 1984 and really liked it. Decent burger using Nolan Ryan's Beef (http://nolanryanbeef.com/), which I did not even know there was such a thing. The beef was very moist, though I wish I had thought to have it cooked medium. Had the burger with a side of sweet potato fries, which was very yummy (though needed a sprinkle of cinnamon and perhaps something other than ketchup for dipping). Pretty good burgers when you are craving a beef patty. I usually go with either Bacon Cheeseburger or Classic Cheeseburger with regular crispy fries. I haven't tried too many things on the menu because if I find one maybe two things that are good I'll always stick to that. I've experienced no everywhere is worth trying everything on the menu. The beef is always juicy and cooked to perfection and what is the absolute most important is the bun. You could have a great party but if the bun is shot then it ruins the entire burger. The buns are warm and have a coating of olive oil or something. I highly recommended coming here and giving them a shot. I have not tried any other locations so I want to make that clear as well. $30 for three burgers with fries/onion rings. Overall it was good, but not great. The onion rings were A+. The burger I had (Bacon Cheeseburger) was B-. I asked for grilled onions so it contained a pinch of them and the bacon was grease limp as if it had been sitting. I've had better. The other 2 burgers on my order satisfied my wife and son (and that's really what's important). However, the fries were a disappointment at best. Not only were they limp (because they weren't freshly cooked), they were also lukewarm (heat lamp warm). My kid wouldn't eat them. He thanked me for the burger though! Hot and fresh onion rings were the star of tonight's meal with the burgers in 2nd place. Like I said it's ok but at an average of almost $11/meal (without a drink) is steep. I wouldn't write this place off. It appears that someone cares about this place based on how clean it was. Tweaking some freshness standards could definitely make this place not only desirable but memorable. 1 suggestion to the ownership--for your current price point you'd add tremendous value by including a 20 ounce drink for every burger/side purchase. read more

I'll never eat or do a pickup from any Chapps locations EVER! I do DoorDash as a side gig and I did a pickup at the Hwy 360 and Green Oaks location. The woman who was working the front gave me the order and I walked out the door. Now I will say that I should have checked the name on the order but I didn't. 99% of the time the name on the order is correct. Well upon driving 5 or 6 miles to deliver the order DoorDash calls me and says that the restaurant gave me the wrong order. I drive all the way back and the woman gives me the correct order. I ask her since I had to drive an extra 10 miles to pickup the correct order if she could at least give me a cold drink. She said she had to ask the manager. Well she came back and told me the manager said no. They won't even give me a drink and it was their mistake! And to top it off the name on the order was STILL wrong! Well, to make a long story short I was given extra compensation from DoorDash and the customer even was apologetic. So Chapps Burgers? You ain't getting my business anymore and I'll make sure I let other people know about your pathetic understanding. If I could I would give this review 0 stars! read more

This restaurant is right around the corner from me so I was hoping to go there on lunch breaks often since I work from home. But the manager/owner does not have great customer service skills. I had a very simple request, to have the condiments & veggies placed on top of the burger instead of underneath, it's just a preference. She laughed the entire time she explained it to the cook, so I said I didn't think it was a ridiculous request. Long story short she kept going back and forth with me calling me honey and waved her hand & told me "go have a seat" as if I were a child. When I asked her to not refer to me as honey (not raising my voice) she said "No one else has a problem with it!" I told her it's the context of the conversation that can make honey & sweetie condescending, she called me that several more times. It was such a bad experience for a $15 cheeseburger & fries with no drink, that I wish I'd cancelled my order at the beginning of the interaction and gone somewhere else. I mentioned I won't be back and she shrugged. Save your $ you can get a better burger at a better price and better service elsewhere. read more

After I had gone to the Trader's World flea market, I stopped here for lunch. I had no idea what to expect when I turned into this parking lot but I'm glad I found this place. There was a sign in the window saying "Best burger in Tarrant county", whatever that is. So, I got a burger! It's pretty good. I think if they salted the meat just before frying it would be GREAT. The bread is really nice - it's a fresh roll - and they stick a little flag in it with the website of where the meat comes from. You know a burger is good if they are proud of the beef they use. I also got cheese sticks which were awesome. They came with ranch dressing which is different than the normal salsa I'm used to (at least back in Boston) but it was really good. The burger hit the spot and it's a nice casual place for lunch. Not the healthiest place, but it's clean and has an old-school kinda feel to it. I'd go again. read more

This place is less than 1 min from my place & im surprised I haven't visited them sooner. Stop in yesterday & the place was spotless & Im shocked I haven't stopped in sooner. The cashier was so bubbly & a joy to represent this facility. At this time they are only allowing phone & curb side service. I ordered and sat in my vehicle & they brought my food out. The prices are chain prices but better quality. These are not frozen pre-made patties but fresh (super fresh) beef. They are seasoned perfectly & has a home made taste. The burgers aren't dry and it's clear they have mastered the cooking time. I ordered a bacon Swiss with onion rings. I'm not sure which one I enjoyed more the burger or the onion rings. The onion rings seem to be handmade and not out of a bag. The crunch and freshness almost makes you forget about the burger. This place is a strong competitor in the burger world & I'll be a regular. Randomly decided to check this place out day and it was great. I now go more than i should haha Yeah food costs more than a regular place but their quality is worth the price. They only have that in a bottle. * The food itself was good. The burger had a good taste. The bread was really good. I like toasted bread and I didn't have to ask for it. My boyfriend and I came here spontaneously, and we left highly pleased with our experience. Atmosphere: This location is in one of the more unpleasant parts of Arlington, but I did feel secure when entering the restaurant. There was a lot more space than I anticipated, with several booths and tables available. It really wasn't anything spectacular looking, but I have seen worse from other burger chains. Service: The service was what really pushed me to give this location a 5 star rating. The employee who helped us, Erica, did an excellent job of making us feel welcome and did a great job of informing us about the menu. Since it was a spontaneous trip (and we already had groceries in the car to make ourselves dinner), we asked her for a few suggestions from the menu. Food: I ordered a mushroom and swiss chicken burger, and my boyfriend ordered the regular mushroom and swiss burger with the beef. He also ordered stuffed jalapenos. The burger itself was very good and well worth what we paid for; Erica made a very good suggestion to us, and I liked the chicken alternative. I ended up not finishing my burger because it was so big, but I loved how there was a lot of mushrooms in my burger and melted cheese to top it off. I'm not a huge fan of stuffed peppers, but my boyfriend said that they weren't very good. I took a bite of one and they tasted bland to me, so we most likely won't order them again.
