After lunch the daughter was craving something sweet. After going through our options in the mall, she chose Wetzel's Pretzels. There was no one in line and one team member working. She was busy making pretzels but immediately acknowledged us as we walked up. Our order was ready within a few minutes. The Cin-A-Bitz were warm, chewy and perfectly coated with cinnamon sugar. It was my first time trying the Mango Boba with Frozen Lemonade, instead of fresh. I really enjoyed it. Good pretzels most of the time. However this time when I came 1.5 hour before closing and ordered some pretzels weren't fresh, felt hard and tasted stale like they've been sitting in there all day. Had to throw away what a waste of money. Will not return until they improve quality control esp. near closing time. Service was ok at times. Always find the younger workers friendly during my visit big contrast to chub lady looks like someone rained on her parade. Unacceptable experience. I came with my daughters to enjoy some pretzels, and one of them pulled a yellow hair out of her mouth while eating. I calmly approached the staff to let them know what had happened, expecting at least an apology. Instead, the employee laughed and said it was from the brush they use to paint the pretzels. I asked, now more frustrated, if that brush hair was supposed to be edible, and she replied that "the brush is disinfected." What kind of answer is that? All I wanted was for them to acknowledge the issue and apologize -- I didn't want to make a scene, especially not in front of my daughters. But the way they handled it only made things worse. Can a girl say, YUM!!! It was a shopping day AND it was a super hot day so I was craving a lemonade. Walking around the mall with the bf and a pretzel sounded really good, ended up getting two bags of pretzels. One with cinnamon which I ate, and the other was a basic pretzel with salt and a side of cheese. We also got lemonade to wash it down. Pretzels were hot, and fresh.. they put a lot of cinnamon on mine which I was stoked about. However the price for three items was ridiculous, I don't remember pretzels being so expensive. read more

Came by around noon and just wanted a pretzel since I had just downloaded the app and they offer you a free pretzel upon signing up! I wasn't too hungry, just wanted a snack, and have not had any soft pretzel for years so this was perfect. The two employees were busy rolling dough and twisting pretzels when I walked up and the one who ended up helping me said she would be with me in a moment and apologized. I was not in a rush so it was totally fine and thanked her for her courtesy! The pretzel was already made but kept hot in the display and the worker was still sweet making sure I got all I wanted. So I was at the mall today and thought to myself..."self...why don't you get a pretzel before you go back to work"...to which I agreed. I stopped by and was asked to hold on even though I was the only one there but the lady was nice about it so I said okay. I saw two pretzels ready to go and decided on the jalapeno pretzel...since I like it hot...hahaha. I handed her a five and got around 40 cents change...wow self do you think prices have gone up? They have icee drinks and soda available as well.The food here tastes incredible! They really mastered the art of good tasting pretzels. Service is quick and friendly. Here are the two downsides: 1) Price. Very expensive. Borderline overpriced. We bought two pretzels, a bag of mini bites and two dipping sauces. Came out to $14! 2) Nothing about Wetzel's Pretzels business model caters to those that are health conscious. Pretzels and healthy aren't exactly a marriage made in heaven, but there has got to be something! Gluten free, wheat options, organic.. just something! Hilarious. I downloaded the app, spent money for pretzels for my kids and myself and declined a drink. After we finished eating, my son requested a strawberry lemonade. I order, hand the lady my credit card and get denied because I don't have my ID. I never carry it, and was denied a $3 purchase after being allowed an $8 purchase. My friend and I walked away laughing because, what else could I do at that point. $3! Lol read more

They just remodeled this location and modernized it. The pretzels are fresh as always but I opt for the extra salt! I like the consistent in product and service here. It's a small kiosk in the mall but they have some seating in the front which is great for families because there's a play area upstairs so it attracts kids and tired parents. So since I am a mall employee this place is a godsend. Since I go there a lot most of the workers know me and are super super friendly and it puts me in a good mood right before I go to work. Very please with quality of the food here. The staff is super friendly, and the pretzel dog bits are always very fresh and super tasty. Don't come here if you plan on using a reward from the app. I received a BOGO free reward on the 10th and it was good until Mother's Day, the 12th. I went to use it but verified with the cashier that it could be applied to any type of pretzel item, in which they said yes. I ordered two of the same item with some sauce, and then the cashier told me the price. I scanned the barcode for the reward, waited, and the cashier then repeated the same price. When I inquired on the price, I was told that I had to purchase 6 items in order to use the reward. What kind of sense does that make? They have a promotion where if you make 6 purchases you EARN a reward, but why do I have to earn a reward that was already given to me? The manager wasn't present and the cashier was making no sense, so I went ahead and purchased the items without the BOGO. Fine, or so I thought. I get home and realize that not only did the reward not work, the cashier only charged and gave me one pretzel item. I never received the second item because they never rang it up, hence why the reward did not work because at least two items are required. I called the store and spoke to the manager and was told that I'd have to return to the store to sort everything out. I asked if I could return the next day and the manager said ok. When I returned the next day, I spoke to the manager and explained everything with the receipt in hand. She then proceeds to tell me that they cannot do anything because I needed to handle it within the same day of the purchase, yet the night prior she told me to come into the store to handle the situation. Your employee not only told me incorrect information but made a mistake, and you can't honor the coupon because I already made the purchase? So rather than just using the coupon there and then and giving me the second item I should've received for free, I'm told that the only thing I can do is make a new purchase in order to use the coupon. No thanks. Won't be returning anytime soon because this is ridiculous. Next time make sure your employees are informed on how the app and promotions work, and if they don't, refer them to someone who does. read more

Pretzels are good but the staff is absolutely TERRIBLE. They accused me of punching my own stamp card when I went to claim my free pretzel. She said I had punched it myself since the shape did not match the one they use. Obviously she cannot conceive the fact that the Northridge location used a different puncher than they did. Anyways, I handed her my card to pay for the lemonade after she handed me my assumed-to be- "free pretzel." She immediately adds the charge for the pretzel to the total quickly swiped my card. I was so furious after I looked at my receipt that I returned the pretzel and demanded to speak with a manager. Conveniently the manager was not there but I would not leave without a refund. STAY AWAY from this place. They clearly need to brush up on their customer service skills. read more

Wetzel's Pretzels has always given great service to me and my friends. They're very patient when one of us are unsure of what to get. One employee, Jasmine, she's always so kind and patient. We were unsure of what to get and were holding up the line and she still stayed patient and helped us get some really good food that we come back to get every single time we come into the mall. Shes very sweet and the overall service is great! Loved this place! The food is good, always warm. And their drinks are always fresh. So grateful to have them at the mall!
