I stopped by this Auntie Anne location today inside Valencia Mall on the second floor to get some pretzel. I had some rewards under my account so I wanted to use them before it expires. I came at 10am since Google said they would be open which was inaccurate. They officially open at 11am but they will serve you early if they have everything ready. I got the plain pretzel and salted pretzel. The customer service here is great, the man working today was very friendly with me. I also got a cheese dip to complete my order. My pretzels was delicious and I thought the cheese dip was kind of pricey since it's just a side. read more

The pretzels smelled good and tasted good but the reason for the one star is because I ordered one item and they didn't even give me the right item. I got the pretzel bites and asked for the unsalted, but instead she gave me the salted ones. It's not a hard order and they had both on hand but apparently the girl who helped me couldn't take 1second to look. I do enjoy their pretzels but be careful when visiting this location. I went one morning to get a pretzel. I used the tap pay with my phone, on my side it kept showing approved the woman ringing me up kept saying it wasn't going through. I proceeded to tap pay again same thing, after the third time I ended up pulling out my physical card and the Payment finally "went through". Later on I went to check my account(for something unrelated) to find I was charged four times for my one pretzel. So I go back to get my money back. This time it was a male that helped me, I was told he couldn't refund me because on their end it only showed the one transaction. If I was actually charged for all the transactions I'll have to take my bank statement in to be refunded. He said he'd refund the one that showed in there system but it never reflected on my account. read more

It's hard to believe this place has lasted through the pandemic considering the pretzels just sit in the warming trays with so little traffic in a mall that was already dying before the pandemic. I had a coupon for a pretzel and figured why not since I was passing through. Regardless of it being free or paying for it, this is not how I remember Auntie Anne's pretzels (unless I'm only recalling the tastiness of Wetzels Pretzels but granted I haven't had them for years either). If you don't like customers using rewards then maybe you shouldn't run a franchised business. Had a reward so I wanted to get pretzel nuggets for my son. The reward was for a small so I was OK with it. When I ordered, the manager rung me up and I proceed to scan my barcode with the scanner. Then I hear a "You're supposed to tell me you have a reward beforehand" in a not so friendly tone. Then he tells me that he doesn't have any "small pretzel nuggets" and that it would be about 7 minutes. I've experienced excellent service from an employee named Kendrick here at the Valencia Westfield Mall. I've been coming to this pretzel place for as long as its been open and no employee has been as recognizable like this one. He looks like a very hard working man and deserves a raise asap. Idk, maybe he was just having a good day that day but truth is, its hard to constantly stay positive at work but he looks like a genuine man who cares for his job. This Auntie Anne's is located on the 2nd floor of the Westfield Valencia Town Center. It is right outside of JCPenney and close to Lush. I've been here a few times and had good experiences each time. My nieces love pretzels so that's the main reason I come. Although I do love their almond pretzel! Lindsey helped us when we were here. She's nice and patient with me and the girls. We ask for our pretzels to be made fresh and wait less than 10 minutes for fresh pretzels. They turn out great. Located in the mall on the 2nd floor...I've always walked by them because I'm not a big pretzel fan, and they seemed expensive. Our neighbor likes it, so my wife decided to go buy some for all of us. They had a special, buy three and get one free. That worked out perfectly for us. They have different flavors, but I had the plain one. By the time we drove 4 mikes home, it was a little bit cooler than right at the mall. It was a little chewier than I would've liked, but it was quite tasty! read more

The managers here are really rude and seem to speak behind your back in a different language. I've also heard really rude stories from employees that have recently quit. One ex employee said the manager told them "why did they he hire you we thought you were Mexican" just because the employee couldn't speak fluent Spanish. This place has disgusting managers that should be replaced immediately. They also expect you to know how to do your job on the first day with no training or explanation. This is one of those places you just expect to see in a shopping mall. Right near the Sbarro and the GNC. It's like a law that you must have all these stores or you simply cannot operate! In this case, Auntie Anne's is not at the Town Center's food court. It's actually a kiosk located on the second level near the Penney's. And the even stranger thing is that there's a Wetzel's in this mall as well on the first floor. So yes, you have competition right in the same mall. Now neither of these pretzelterias will give you what people like me from back east know as a soft pretzel. Call it the SuperPretzel effect. It was those guys at J&J Snack Foods (ironically, based in Philadelphia!) that first attempted the mallification of the classic Philly or New York soft pretzel for the masses. And it was awful. Had none of the texture and taste of a real, true soft pretzel from the street. Then along came Auntie's and Wetzel's and yes, they are improvements, but they will never top the real thing. While the pretzels are huge (better be for two and a half bucks!), they are not as thick and doughy as they should be and you can easily get mustard onto the sheet or worse yet, your clothes. They do offer topping varieties like Cinnamon Sugar you'd never find in Philly or NYC but I just stick to the basics. If I never have ever had a real Philadelphia street soft pretzel in a paper bag, I'd give Auntie Anne's five stars. Since I have, I got to knock off a couple of stats and take it to a meh-like three. read more

The two girls assured us that all their drinks were ice cold so it should be fine without ice. My unsweetened ice tea is hot and nasty. I'm a regular customer here. It had been good experience until last night @7:15 Thursday, Oct 8th, 2015; I came across an employee (a tall & rude man). When I came, the man was relaxing at the counter, looking at his cellphone. It seemed to me he felt bothered because I came & he had to get up & serve me. I ordered 2 pretzels. He said I had to wait 20 mins for the second pretzel. So I said: "Can I leave this pretzel here, I'm gonna come back after 20 mins.". At this point he has started to look upset & raised his voice, saying: If you want to! When I came back after 20 mins, I saw an Asian girl shaping the dough, while the rude man was cleaning at the sink. The Asian girl told the rude man that customer is waiting. So the rude man stopped cleaning, & with his wet hands handed me my pretzels. I asked him for a bag. He almost threw the bag at me & looked at me angrily. I still thanked him & left, even after noticing the burnt pretzels he gave me. I couldn't sleep that night after what had happened at Auntie Anne. Am I gonna come back again? Yes, but definitely I don't want to be served by the rude man. & no more burnt pretzels or I will get my money back this time. read more

Very disappointed. I ordered 2 pizza pretzel combos, paid, but when i looked at the receipt I was overcharged. I went and asked why i was charged each item individually and was told that the computer was not recognizing combos so there was nothing they could do. She took our order, I asked if they had those punch cards still and she handed me one and the whole time was just great to speak to. Gross Gross Gross!! I was standing in line waiting as the woman in front of me was being helped. As I was standing there, I noticed another employee scrolling on his cell phone wearing shorts and sitting on the COUNTER WHERE FOOD IS PREPARED!!! Not only that but he also had his right leg up crossed over his left leg and his foot/shoe was resting on the counter. The reason he had his leg up is because he was picking his nasty scabs on his knee and shin and letting them flake/fall to the ground. 2wks ago I came to this place and bought stuff I didn't have my stamp card so the lady was nice enough to write it on piece of paper and said when I come back they will stamp it. So today, 9/6/15 came back to visit with my kids and tried to buy and also get my card to be stamped. The manager on site, Irma, gave me such a hard time. I told her what happened and she disregarded it. Not only she humiliated me in front of customers with a long line insisting that sorry she can't do that. Like really you want to whine for 2 stamps. I hate this place. The workers are rude. The food on display looked old and rotten. The condiments were all over the place. Irma had no compassionate and disregard public relation. I will never come here and make sure I will pass around the word of my bad experience here. I work at the hospital and am sorry we don't treat patients like this. I didn't get to buy food for my kids that's how upsetting it was and they hate this place. I'm writing to you how unethical she gave service to me as a customer.
