Albertsons, Saugus,is the most well-kept, well-stocked grocery in all of Santa Clarita, second to none. Groceries are at an all time high and we don't see them coming down. Shop wisely and use the ALBERTSONS APP. If you're a pro with the app, there are savings to be had on-top of the weekly specials. Go through the online ad at your leisure and clip the specials each week. It's easy. Our one complaint. There are a few older females that have put in their years and they are DONE. They are pissed off at doing any type of customer service and let it be known. This behavior is off-putting and makes customers uncomfortable. OVERALL customer service is exceptional! Stopped by at 7:50pm to buy chicken strips. One person ahead of me. One person being helped by a boy. A lady comes out from the back and asks what the woman in front of me wants. She said she wants chicken strips - the lady puts them In the paper bag and she leaves. The boy who was helping another another customer looks at me and says "we are closed." I looked at the boy, I looked at the lady, I looked at the woman who was just given chicken strips, I look at the other customer being helped. They all look at me like they were apologetic for the 2 employees. Keep in mind the boy employee said it rudely and impolite. Walked away hungry. Not the first time that department was horrible in customer service. Never again. read more

I shop here because it is my local grocery store but a mile away is Vons and that is where I will take my business. Today I was helped by a clerk named Mason. This clerk was so nasty. Albertsons Deli, you have redeemed yourself! At least for now. With all the much needed rain we received today, there was a comfort food longing in the air. And after her morning appointment, my wife decided to make a quick stop at Albertsons to pick up a few things. And since we had noticed their reopening sign recently, she also decided to give their deli section fried chicken one more try. We believe in second chances. Another order of the 8 piece fried chicken. And unlike this past July's terribly disappointing excuse for chicken, this bag was giving off an extremely aromatic delight after her arrival home! My wife and I shop here quite a bit. I went in today to exchange two air filters for the size that I needed and they didn't have them. Also I did not have my receipt however they were kind enough to give me a gift card for the full values of the one that I returned. We are regular customers but that service was well and above anything I had ever expected. read more

This is our neighborhood store and I am writing this March 27, 2025. I am very disappointed by the low stock of organic items. I was able to buy organic lemonade, cottage cheese, sour cream, heavy whipping cream, and other staples. I have been to the store at least 2 times per week for the past few months and these items are not available. It is very diappointing when you establish a shopping routine for certain items that you rely on and then consitently find them unavailable. read more

I stopped in Albertsons yesterday while in the area. I used to shop here all the time when doing Instacart but it's been over 3 years now. So I don't personally shop here often enough to have a Just For You account. Yesterday I used my son's phone number for discounts. I went home and signed up for an account and got a $5 off coupon on my next visit. I had some Christmas dinner shopping to do so I stopped by again this morning. The store is clean, best produce selections, great deli and meat Dept. Huge selection of wines. This is the only reason I gave 3 stars. I went to self checkout and encountered Anna. WOW! What a horribly unhappy, mean and nasty woman! She acted like I was bothering her when I politely asked for help. My $5 coupon wouldn't scan. She snapped and said "Well it's for NEW customers only " I responded that I AM new, I just signed up yesterday. She then said "Well why didn't you use it then"? Ummm because I did it on my computer at home???? She then snatched the coupon and said she would go ask her manager. Comes back and says "I'll do it for you THIS ONE TIME" I told her that I am a new customer, and it's only for new customers therefore it would only be ONE TIME. She just punched in codes and walked off. She grumbled something but I didn't catch what she said. My wife and I shop here often and we often get the experience you would expect at a grocery store. Most of the associates are friendly and helpful. Tonight I went there after riding around with empty (3) 5 gallon jugs that I needed to get refilled for a few days. I usually go to the water machines out front of the store and refill. The last time I went the credit card reader wasn't working so I had to find a water store near my job to fill them (if you've ever driven around with these things empty you know it's super annoying hearing them slide and flop around in the backseat). Anyway I went by again tonight to try the machines again. One was completely out of order but the one on the left looked like it was good to go. I had cash so I put $5 in. Then I hit the $2.50 option and it said I had $0.00 credit. I got robbed by the water machine. So I walk inside to see if anyone can help. I ran into Anthony (5th Manager) and I explained what happened. After a short convo and Anthony going out to machine and checking it out, he refunded me the $5 and as I was walking away he offered for me to take one of the 5 gallon bottles they have pre-filled. He totally didn't have to do that but it's for reasons like this, where someone makes the decision to do the right thing and then go above and beyond, is why our loyalty for our grocery shopping will be to this particular Albertsons. BEWARE!!! If you shop here and use self checkout you will be accused of STEALING!!! So today I went because the 12 packs of soda were on sale, buy 2 get 2 free! I was buying 8. I'm well aware it has to be rung up separate. Well I rung up my first 4. Then the register stopped working so I switched to the self checkout directly next to it. Paid and left. Well self checkout lady followed me out and was yelling but I couldn't hear her and I thought to myself well I paid so there shouldn't be an issue. Loaded all my groceries and got in my car. That's when I turn to look and the manager is at my car window accusing me of stealing. I showed him my receipts. HE STILL DIDNT BELIEVE ME!! He said but the register says you have a balance!! I literally showed him all the groceries in my car and the receipt. Still didn't believe me! They just couldn't understand the concept that I used a different register. I've been shopping at this grocery store for 3 years now regularly. I've never once been followed to my car and accused of stealing. Or been followed to my car and been demanded to show my receipt. This is not something I'm gonna let slide. Forget calling corporate, I'll be calling a lawyer. I've attached pics for reference of the ones who accused me of theft! I have been buying my cakes at their bakery for almost 10 years, minimum 8 cakes a year. most to the time I buy them and take them home and decorate them myself. The price on the cakes went up, as with most businesses, the staff did a good job of explaining it to me before I placed the order...this was not the issue. My husband picked up the cake, a plain two tier white cake for my sister's bridal shower I was hosting at my home. It looked like someone who had made cakes for the first time put it together. as you can see in the picture the gold paper plate was chopped up and showing around the rim on the second layer and it looked horrible. I called and spoke to Maria the cake baker, she was completely unapologetic and didn't see anything wrong with the it and was very rude and condescending. I had purchased this exact same cake (2 actually) in February for mine and my mothers birthdays and they were fine so I did anticipate any problems. I contacted Albertsons online to let them know and they said the store Director would be notified but I did not receive any response back after leaving a message with the store. I was so disappointed that it felt acceptable to them to ruin someones special occasion with a cake that looks like this. Love my neighborhood Albertsons! Although I wish prices were lower, I never have trouble finding what I need, unlike the other one in Valencia that seems to be out of stuff a lot. The employees here are so sweet, Nita, Luke, Chris.. all of the produce guys and meat guys are so welcoming (though I wish I could say the same for the bakery and deli).. overall, I enjoy my trips to the grocery store because it is clean, fast & I'm always walking out with a smile. read more

While doing our shopping I noticed some stuffed clam and scallop shells in the seafood case. They looked really good and they were on sale for $1.00 each. I should have known better but I bought them anyway. There may have actually been some clams and scallops in them but they were 90% bread crumbs. What a waste of money! Ahh where to begin. I used to like this place... but I'll go back to driving further to the Ralph's on Decoro. Thus store does NOT enforce the mask mandate at all. It must be where everyone who hates mask wearing goes to shop now because if it. When I asked the store manager about it, he told me that their corporate office in Utah specifically told them not to enforce / say a word to any customer without one. There were even employees working in the meat department who didn't have one on. This tells me a few things... they are more concerned about the customers they may lose by enforcing the city mandate - and they they have little concern for the safety of their own staff or customers. Ralph's on Decoro at least enforces the mandate and their employees always wear masks. read more

Don't buy balloons from this location. This balloon was filled 3 hrs ago and it's not being held down by anything. The helium is so bad the balloon is barely afloat after 3 hrs. Ok so Albertsons has your usual grocery items.. Blah blah blah. But.... They fresh make chicken in the deli area and it's the best chicken I've ever had. Ever! Salt and vinegar flavor specifically, they have others so make sure to get this flavor. I'm sure they make this at the other Albertsons markets, but I'm not for sure. I've had dreams about this chicken, not even joking. Y'all just don't understand until you try it! But those that have, you know the deal. Ok I'm coming off my chicken high so we can talk about sushi. This particular location has sushi and it's quite good for its price. Usually ranging from $6, $7, $8 depending on what type you get. And on Friday's it's only $5 per container! Vons down the street sells sushi now too but it's not as good. The woman here is awesome. The most clean and well organized Albertsons in SCV. I never have a problem finding anything I need for cooking. Even hard to find items are available here like chayote, taro root and even my favorite snack, Annie Chun's roasted sesame seaweed. Around the holidays the associates do such a great job in making this store a pleasant place with nicely decorated and stacked up items that bring out the festive spirit in us all. There's even a great extension of small gift giving items making it a one stop shop. Today I found Cheesecake Factory's famous brown bread and my family has been loving this new addition to our grocery list. Thank you Albertsons and keep up the excellent customer service. read more

Ernie, Claudette, Valerie, Patrick, Cindy, Louis, Pam, and so many others, are some of the most amazing grocery store employees you are to ever meet. Go to Vons, go to Ralphs, go to any other major chain, and it will just make you want to shop at this particular Albertsons instead. The selection is fantastic, the hours (all the way to midnight, every night) are great, and the parking is excellent. Everything about this store is on point and top notch. ALL of the employees deserve raises (sorry if that causes you some stress whoever runs the place, but it's true). As an older couple, we appreciate the opportunity to place an order online and pick it up at a set time. However, on three recent occasions, we were charged the regular price for several items rather than the advertised sale price. The first two times an adjustment was made after customer service agreed that an error was made. The third time resulted in my email being ignored, with only an acknowledgement that the email had been received. Subsequent requests for an answer were also ignored. Finally, this morning's pickup order was missing two items for which we were charged. A phone call to the store was answered, but a transfer to a different department resulted in a hang up after many rings. It appears that both the online customer service (in Idaho?) and our local store, which we've used for many years, have problems. While it's our most convenient supermarket, we may have to take our business elsewhere. read more

I shop here strictly cause of convenience as the store is right by my neighborhood. It is really nice knowing that it only takes 2 mins to get to the store especially if I only need a couple things. The thing I do not like about the store are the prices. Most items are double the price they would be at Walmart. Checking out here is easy. There is always a cashier ready to help you and they also have self check outs. If you need a caffeine buzz while you shop they have a Starbucks inside. This location also has a chase bank and chase Atm. They have a pretty good selection of wine. Happy shopping! read more

The only reason why we keep shopping here is that it's convenient to our house. We've lived out here 29 years, and this market has changed many times, for better or worse. Under the current store director, is often dirty, does not smell nice when you come in, people don't seem to be sharp, and stock levels can be questionable. On more than one location, they have been out of milk on a Sunday afternoon. And on several occasions the dairy products they were selling were past the sale date. This is not a reflection on Albertson's in general, but specifically this location on Bouquet Canyon Road. It's not absolutely terrible, but there are much better stores around the SCV. read more

This use to be a luckys market a long time ago. Now Albertsons and Vons share the same owner. So they're slowly merging items and weekly ads together. Nice big store and a large parking lot. There is a recycling place on the left side of the store. Nice clean store and well lit. Lots of checkstands open on a Saturday. The checker was fast and friendly for an express lane. They have a nice produce section, bakery, health and beauty aid section, etc. Nice store overall. read more

Made the mistake of shopping here today, 7-5-2020, and won't duplicate the error. No real enforcement of social distancing protocols at all. No staff enforcement of customers' need to wear masks (even saw a customer speaking directly with a staff member, like, face to face, no mask on the customer). I am giving 5 stars solely because of the solution to my issue. The other day we ordered groceries for delivery. Many of our items were not in the bag(we were not charged for said items) and no substitutions were offered. I fully understand that grocery stores run out of product. But these were easy everyday products such as coffee and fruit. It seemed as though the person picking the groceries didn't look for these items at all. I called the store and I was very vocal about my frustration. I spoke to the manager Mac about the issue. He didn't take offense to my tone but instead was focused on correcting the issue. He looked up our order and said he would call me back. Just a few mins later he called me and said that he found almost all of the products. He empathized with me regarding the situation and told me that he will speak to the employee to find out what happened. I'd like to be clear, the purpose of this diatribe isn't to bash the employee. The reason is the reason and I don't know why this happened. The purpose of this is to commend Mac on his excellent customer service. Not only did Mac find the items but he personally drove to my house to deliver them. This is over and above for a manager to do as they have employees to do these things. Upon delivery he made it a point to thank me as a customer and apologize for what happened. He successfully kept me as a customer and made me feel as though he really cares. Thank you Mac!! You customer service and care of this situation was impeccable. Especially since I wasn't very nice on our initial call. Thank you for looking past my attitude and taking the time to correct the issue. I really hope corporate sees this and understands how serious you are about the success of this store. read more
