This Ralph's has to be the WORSE grocery store in the city, maybe the county, heck maybe the entire state. Somebody needs to close this store or at a minimum replace 99% of the workers there. If you keep the staff have them go over to Trader Joe's and take lessons in Customer Service. The staff is rude, the managers even worse. They constantly overcharge you. Homeless abound at each of the 2 entry doors and the aisles are always over crowded. It's a dump. Many times now they don't have a cashier and you have to go to self checkout even if you have a full cart. They have so many new people it's hard to keep track. Today I had to exchange out a coffee creamer because it went bad within a week and I got the 3rd degree from this so called Manager who I had never seen before. Been going here 29 years and I'm having to plead my case to exchange one bottle of creamer. I'm done with this Ralph's, will take my business across the street to Aldi. Go ANYWHERE else but stay FAR AWAY from this store. read more

Go here! Literally almost everything was on sale and they close late too. Taylor and Kaitlyn were so nice and awesome. Their digital coupons weren't working on the Ralph's app but Taylor helped us out on the chips and soda deals, while Kaitlyn helped us out with the baby wipes at the register. chicken from the service deli is good when you can get it. it's delicious and displayed well with the lighting. went there today and the person working today, told me he had to finish his cleaning before he could help me and that'll be 30 minutes. there was no chicken available in trays. this isn't first time i experienced this type of lack luster effort from the staff within the deli, just the last time without me saying nothing about it. read more

Have been shopping at this location for many years. As of this week, I've shopped there for the last time. None or horrible baggers, expired food on the shelves, presented coupons not scanned, items not bagged or put in the cart. The deli dept has a small selection of fresh salads and whatnot. Two weeks ago I picked up a birthday cake I'd ordered for my employees. They got the color of icing and border correct but the message was incorrect - I had to spend more money on icing to correct the mistake. The roses were literally rough around the edges. The frosting was tasteless. And the white cake I ordered turned out to be yellow, dry and chewy. I contacted them through their site with complete purchasing information and a detailed message. After a few days all I received was a vague apology. No attempt from anyone from store contacting me, no hint of refund or credit. This cake was a surprise for my employees that was an epic disaster and embarrassing. I will not be shopping at this store again! read more

This Ralphs location has friendly staff, is well stocked and you never really have to wait in line more than a few minutes which is HUGE. The night time manager Kevin is awesome. He's very helpful, listens to my concerns, strives to make me satisfied and I've never witnessed him being rude, or unprofessional with myself or any other customer. He obviously takes his position at this store seriously and makes the effort to make sure his customers leave with nothing but good things to say and more than happy to return and shop again. This is our go to Ralph's. Always clean, and stocked with fresh produce. The deli section has Boars Head cheese and cold cuts. The service is always there and they are always there to make sure everything is stocked and ready. Our family loves this Ralph's. read more

There's this employee called Patty, who seems to think that she is better than anyone. Went there early Sunday morning to buy some groceries, after checking out I told the cashier that I'd like to buy cigarettes and Patty was there assisting another customer. Noticing that I was waiting, instead of saying the usual "i'll be with you once i'm done helping her" she with that smug look in her face pretty much told me off about how i should pay first before i make another purchase and that I should wait by the counter and continued chatting with the customer. Lady can't you see my grocery already bagged?! Thankfully this associate, I m sorry i forgot her name was very helpful, after seeing me standing there for lord knows how many minutes, reassured me and after assisting her customer immediately came and apologized, and proceeded to help me. What really pissed me off was Patty actually held the key for the cigarette stand and it was her responsibility! This store is within walking distance from my home and I haven't been to it in 10 yrs. Today, I now remember why I've been driving 3+ miles to Stater Bros. and Vons. At 10 am - not busy at all, but only one checker working so I went to self-checkout. I bought cherries that clearly had 2.99 in bold letters, but at checkout came to 15.87? Checkout "Helper" Irma says "Did you use a digital coupon?" - I say "No, don't know what that is". She says "Most people do" I can't believe deceptive marketing practices like this still exist, but here it is. On top of that using my U.S. Bank-held Ralphs MasterCard, which clearly says Ralphs Rewards on the back, credited me NOTHING toward the club-listed prices. Upon revisiting the store, the wise Irma says "Dear, you have to scan your card separately." All I remember is that the screen said to start scanning my items and then to pay - don't remember a prompt for a Rewards #. They don't have bags out for you to start. After she went rationed me out the two bags that I guess I was planning to steal, Irma proceeded to count through my purchase items to make sure I paid for everything and that I was free to go. My "time-saving" odyssey ended up costing me 20+ minutes for 7 or so items. I would rather walk to Trader Joes or Stater Bros. than ever revisit this joke. U.S. Bank will be my next phone call to get rid of this Ralphs credit card. read more

NO CASHIERS ON SATURDAY MORNING?! My husband has begun to take his elderly mother to grocery shop on Saturday mornings. So far, each time they've gone early on a Saturday, there are NO cashiers! Only self checkout is available. She buys a week's worth of food and self checkout is not the place to be checking out a week's worth of food. They really need to have at lease ONE regular lane open. Last week, there was a man in a wheelchair struggling to buy his groceries at a self checkout lane. That's ridiculous. Vons has cashiers at that time. Four stars for having the best staff especially during the psychotic beginnings of Coronavirus. They did not run out of bread or toilet paper because they limited how many people could buy. They were able to follow state guidelines without making people feel like they were being punished. The place remained clean, nice and helpful throughout the entire fiasco. They should win awards. My only criticism is that they do not have any chicken liver and have not had it for months. It is my favorite poor man's food and it breaks my heart to not have any. I use to go exclusively to Ralph's now I will go there ONLY because they have the cat food that I need. Did you know that before you can take advantage of their I store sales you have had to 1) sign up for their app 2) get their email 3) "cut" out all the coupons you think or can guess you may or may not use 4) wait in line and when you didn't do any of these steps get BERATED by the check out person I'm sorry I didn't know the 4 step process but is it really necessary for you to call me out when you were able to "give them" to me after all? I won't be shopping here. Please understand that I respect all workers and I can't imagine working under these conditions. This is for anyone who goes to any Ralph's in the Santa Clarita valley, all the managers and assistant managers are rude, evil people! They could care less about the customers satisfaction and as for the employees, unless you are a long time friend they could care less about them too. It's a shame that Kroger lets them get away with it unless the investigations that are performed by HR are not getting to the corporate office. This is not like the usual Ralphs I have been enjoying so much over the last few years. About a decade ago, I remember how much I despised Ralphs and would do anything I could to avoid it.
