I think this might be my new favorite brewery! Love the wide selection of just really great beers…read morethat they consistently roll out; present favorites are the sours and IPAs! Love that they have their own kitchen serving yummy food (the brat and chicken quesadilla are our favs!) so we're not scrambling when a food truck cancels last minute. Love how genuinely friendly everyone who we've met working here has been (thanks Joe, Ian and Clarissa for making us feel so welcome!)! Love the super chill vibe of this whole establishment! Love that they have a parking lot! Love the cookies! In short, I'm just so grateful that our friends invited us to join them here for weekly trivia fun on Tuesdays! This is such an amazing brewery! Highly, highly recommend!!

It is now our favorite local place to unwind with a few libations, some games and usually an enormous, delicious pretzel. The staff is next-level friendly, and it rubs off on the customers, most of which are regulars. They host so many events and always keep the menu exciting. Plus they have an awesome dog-friendly patio! Love this place. The only negative thing I'd say is that the roar of the customers against the hard-surfaced walls and ceiling can really get overwhelming at times, but whatever. Not usually a big deal. Just hit the patio if it's too noisy inside. Definitely check out the place if you haven't yet.

We didn't get a chance to order food so next time maybe we will try. Overall the party we attended had a good chill time outdoors. Pro tip* I recommend wearing flat shoes if you will be outside as the area is on a slanted paved area.

The one star is for our server alone -- she was very kind, attentive, and honest, even if some of…read moreher recommendations ended up being a little misguided. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. I ordered the chicken schnitzel with mushroom gravy, my boyfriend got the Hungarian brat with spaetzle, and our friend ordered the Hungarian brat on a roll. Starting with the schnitzel: it wasn't completely terrible, but it definitely wasn't good. The breading was some what soggy and sliding off the chicken, and the chicken itself had almost no seasoning besides an odd lemony sourness. The mashed potatoes were honestly awful -- extremely sour, like they were overloaded with sour cream but missing butter, salt, or any real flavor. I LOVE mashed potatoes and only managed two bites before giving up. The red cabbage was overcooked, mushy, and had a slightly off taste. Overall, the schnitzel plate was maybe a 2/10, and those points go solely to the fact that the chicken itself was technically edible. My boyfriend's meal somehow managed to be worse. The bratwurst was fine, but tasted frozen and reheated rather than fresh. The sauerkraut, according to him, "tasted like dirty socks." The spaetzle was genuinely offensive -- mushy, overly bland, and tossed with what looked like hydrated diced mushrooms that literally tasted like dirt. I honestly questioned whether it had gone bad. Beyond the food, the restaurant itself felt dirty and had a strange smell throughout. It honestly seems like a place locals may still visit out of habit or convenience, but it no longer reflects what I imagine it once was. It's unfortunate, because there's something special about a restaurant that's been around for 65 years and still tries to maintain its old-school charm. Sadly, the food and cleanliness just don't live up to that legacy anymore. Save your money unless you're only stopping in for an overpriced German draft beer. We definitely won't be back.

Brews Brothers really knows how to throw a party. We stopped by for their 5th anniversary and it…read morereminded me why I keep coming back. The location has plenty of parking and such a great vibe. With all the distillers upstairs and downstairs, the whole place pulls you into the experience the second you walk in. The food is honestly some of the best bar food I've ever had. This is bistro food, not your typical chicken fingers and frozen appetizers. The menu is always changing, which keeps things exciting, and everything feels like it was actually thought through. Service is what makes this place stand out even more. The owners genuinely care about the community. They're constantly popping in, saying hi, checking on guests, and making sure the food is coming out at its best. You can tell they're invested in the experience, not just the business. The ambience is awesome. Great energy, great crowd, and a beer selection that keeps me happy every time. I'm a huge sour beer guy and it's almost impossible to find bars with a solid sour selection, but they always have multiple options on tap, including some they brew themselves. A place that keeps getting better every time I visit.

Myself and 9 coworkers grabbed some tables on a Thursday night after 7p. Here's the TLDR version…read more.. Service: 5/5 Food: 2/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Drinks: 3/5 Prices: 2/5 My group kept hurling rapid-fire requests at the pair of bartenders and they were on top of everything. They kept the food and drinks coming and frequently checked on us so kudos to them. Only obstacle was asking one of them a bunch of menu questions and food recommendations but he is vegan so had no opinions since most of the menu is meat. On to the food. The best things were the hummus/pita starter, and that's about it. The pretzel was ok but all 3 dips were not mustard based so lame. I ordered a half rack of pork ribs. While cutting them they squirted me which I thought was a good sign, but they had no flavor and basically no sauce. There is a fine line between charred and burnt and they started to cross the line, just tasted like burnt charcoal. I doused them in their original BBQ sauce and it actually made them worse; the sauce just tastes like liquid spice and also had no distinct flavor. Can't ruin fries... wrong! They were overly fried and any potato remnants had been cooked away. The coleslaw was not coleslaw, it was just chopped up purple cabbage, totally inedible. Some other food reviews from my coworkers. Fish and chips: dry Fried pickles: where are the pickles Miso cod: not good Bacon burger: also not good Chicken wings: you guessed it I also got one of 3 sour beer options, The Who Likes Orange Soda, which magically tasted like half sour beer half orange soda. It was ok but towards the end I just wished I had gotten a sour beer instead of an orange soda. Considering how poor the food quality is, I'd say the menu is wildly overpriced. The place has a chill vibe, so it's not a bad option to have a beer and watch some sports on TV, but I would highly advise eating before going so you are full and don't make the mistake of ordering food.

This place is always recommended to me on Yelp anytime I try to find places to eat in Little Tokyo…read moreand technically it's in the Arts District, but it's within walking distance. I've had my brother and several friends say that it's good and since we were closer to this area for a pop up event, we dropped by and I finally had a chance to try it. We visited during the final game of the World Cup, so there was no more indoor dining, but there's a couple bench tables outside at the side of the building. Part of the building shades over the seating, so even on a pretty hot day, this worked in a pinch and there was a slight breeze too, thank goodness. Staff was helpful and and answered our questions. They also brought our order out to the tables outside, which was nice. They also took our trash and tray back when we were done too. Each table has ketchup, brown and spicy mustard if need be. Inside, you order and pay at the cashier, grab a number, and they bring it to you. There's a bunch of sausage links on display, as well as the sodas and you can see some of the beer that they have too. For our Sunday lunch, we got the: 1) Sunset Zero soda: -It's an imported German soda. Love that there's a zero sugar version. It's a citrus cola with ending vanilla notes. Way better than some of the orange Pepsi/Pepsi Fire they ran in the past. Nice to try. 2) Rattlesnake & Rabbit with Jalapeno Peppers: -Unique combination of predator and prey meats all encased into one sausage. Also, not often you can get these meats as well. -Slight spicy kick to it from the jalapenos and rich, buttery texture of the meats together. -Each hot dog comes with 2 toppings and we got caramelized onions and sauerkraut with this which added a nice sour and sweet taste to it too. -I liked this the most of the 2 of them. 3) Pheasant with Herbs de Provence: -Nice savory flavor, but I was a fool and ordered this with the sweet and spicy peppers as a topping since they were different from the other toppings we got and I mostly just tasted the bitter aftertaste of the peppers that sort of overpowered the meats. My mistake if anything since the bites with just meat and mustard were delicious. 4) Groot of Belgian Fries: -Huge serving, way too much for 2 people especially with 2 hot dogs and we sadly could not finish it, but at the very least it came with 2 dipping sauces. -Before ordering this, I didn't groot referred to anything other than a Marvel character. -Fries had a rich, deeper flavor than standard fries, nice slight crispiness. We got it with curry ketchup and sundried tomato mayo. The tomato mayo was fine, definitely a lighter flavor and since the fries tasted so rich on their own, I feel like the curry ketchup was a more flavorful and better match. I love a good hot dog, so being able to try it with more exotic meats, flavors, and sauces makes it definitely worth stopping by.

There is a kids menu too, but i don't see a difference. It only gives the same(maybe it was smaller? Hard to tell) hotdog with limited choice (chicken and apple flavor?) with fries. Wish i remember the price if it worths. I have been trying mainly rattlesnake&rabbit but i will try buffalo next time to see how different it is. For adults, i would not recommend chicken&apple. I feel like other flavors are way better than this.
