My first impression of Aspen Dental is that it is a great facility equipped with top of the line dental equipment. It is well kept up and the service is prompt. And I knew that I didn't need it cuz I had had a clean bill of healthy roots in the last 2 months. And when I went to my appointment 2 days later at the endodontist's and they took x-rays, I got to sit there for a few minutes looking at them on a monitor. Even I saw my own healthy roots and was like I hope this endodontist isn't going to do any work. When he finally walked me through the x-rays he said that I didn't need the root canal. But this dentist at Aspen was like "you're gonna need a root canal". Listen, in a pinch this place might be good for cleanings and fillings, I don't know. What could be improved? Language is everything. Dr. Martin, if you're not sure, don't say you know. Just recommend specialist evaluation and leave it at that. Very caring and prompt service from making my appointment over the weekend for a semi-emergency type of treatment to the in-office care. Saw Dr. Martin since my usual dentist was out of town. My only star deduction is that they do not have as state-of-the-art equipment as my usual dentist or the dentist before that. I had to put on the vest for x-rays. Not a total dealbreaker and better than witnessing the fact that Banner Hospital at the UofA has dot matrix printers printing your information out. Other than that, my visit was pleasant.
