The most stress-free dental experience I've had in years, thanks to a wonderfully talented doctor, caring staff, and beautiful setting. Having had extensive procedures in several other parts of the country (including several crowns and an implant that were well done by my previous provider, in San Diego), I was unsure I'd find an office in Tucson that could match the level of expertise I've had elsewhere. Dr. Mitchell made that simple -- he not only has excellent depth in general and aesthetic dentistry but is also just an incredibly nice person. I'm someone who experiences major anxiety in the chair, and I've found Dr. Mitchell's easygoing demeanor a huge relief. I also appreciate that the hygienist is extremely respectful and patient-focused. For instance, I'd had my last bitewings eleven months before, and before my arrival, she had noticed that and double-checked with my insurance to ensure I was eligible, but more important, she also asked me if I would prefer to have them a little early or wait until my next visit. It's completely refreshing to have the staff ask what the patient wants, instead of trying to push services or products. Another major advantage is the office itself -- located on Grant Road (north lane, next door to Black Rock Coffee, just across the street from the Mercedes Benz dealer and slightly west of the post office), the building has ample covered parking, and the interior capitalizes perfectly on stunning views of the Catalinas, with several exam chairs facing straight out to the gorgeous scenery...just another way to feel relaxed and happy in a place dedicated to making you flash your best smile! read more

as a totally petrified person of the dentist, the staff hygienist and dentist all were very kind and very gentle. Definitely my new dentist. Thank you. read more

Loved this dentist! I did my research to pick the best one in Tucson, and they delivered! The first time in years I felt like I wasn't being nickel and dimed and pushed for unnecessary treatments. Just good quality teeth cleanings, new technology, with gentle, super informative, and understanding dental hygienists. Highly recommend! read more

Dr. Mitchell is one of dental professions that truly loves his occupation, because he demonstrates it in how well he treated me the patient. My heart broke, when I came for a office visit and learned that he no longer worked at that location. I was at an all time low. It's so difficult finding a dentist that I trust and felt safe with. The office felt different, not as professional as when Dr. Mitchell was working there. I thought I had lost a member of my family. If Dr. Mitchell, is accepting new patients. I would love the opportunity to be a patient of his again. Ms. Margaret L. Wilson read more

Dr Mitchell and staff are the very best!!! They are friendly and always make sure that you are being cared in the best way possible. I have been going to them since I moved back to Tucson 10 years ago and would not want to go to anyone else. The whole place has a good, fiendly vibe. But best of all Dr. Mitchell has gone out of his way to fit me in twice when I have chipped my front tooth. That is such a anxiety situation to be in and they understand just how that impacts you and they have gotten me is as soon as possible. I am eternally greatful to him and his staftf. read more

I have been coming to Dr. Mitchell fir many years. I drive 11/2 hrs to see him. He and his staff make you feel very comfortable and help you to understand your treatment plan. I'm always confident I get the best care. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Brian Mitchell since 2017. I saw Monique for my cleaning today and she is always warm, kind, and gentle - I just love her. My husband had to have major dental work done in the past few years, and Dr. Mitchell did a phenomenal job. The front office staff is also great. Highly recommend! read more

Office staff extremely rude. Refused to take me as a patient when I had been there twice before. Not sure why they refused to give me an appointment. They would give me no explanation. read more

I sit here this morning in a bit of pain from having a wisdom tooth extracted yesterday. But I am happy and thankful for Dr. Brian Mitchell and his team for what they did yesterday and the care they've given me over the past couple of years. I spent many years not taking care of my teeth, and my smoking only made things worse. I lost a few teeth from lack of care. I had crowns needing to be repaired, and I hadn't had a cleaning in at least ten years. So I came to Dr. Mitchell in hopes that I would be able to smile again with confidence. When I sat in the lobby waiting on my first visit, I almost left because I was a embarrassed and nervous at the same time. However, Dr. Mitchell and his team are welcoming and helped me relax a bit. He gave me a consultation and was clear with the dental work I needed done. I could imagine what my mouth would look like, and that helped me. The feelings I felt in the lobby started to dissipate-a complete 360. I could feel myself becoming emotional as I realized Things could change: i wouldn't have to grin and avoid showing my teeth. I would have to speak softly while trying to keep my mouth closed, forcing me to repeat myself constantly because people couldn't hear me. Dr. Mitchell let me know that it would be a process with many visits but ensured that he would do his best to help me transform my smile. I respect that Dr. Mitchell never made me feel bad about my teeth as I had felt for many years. He is cheerful, kind, funny at times, caring, and an extraordinary dentist! Now, I am smiling! I am laughing louder than I used to. I am speaking more confidently and no longer mumbling. I can't thank Dr. Mitchell enough for what he has done for me. I now have a reason to smile, and it feels GREAT. read more

Keeping it short. Great Dr and amazing staff! Been going here for a few years now, I highly recommended!! read more

The front office personnel was rude and unprofessional. Worst presentation for dentist office.

The office is calm and professional, with quick wait time. The hygienists are terrific. Dr. Mitchell is thorough and professional, warm and friendly. If you are fearful of dental work, no need to be. The staff and Dr. Mitchell will put you at ease. read more

This is a spectacular dental office! If you are looking for a new dentist, I cannot recommend this place enough. Everyone on their staff is friendly, accommodating, and knowledgable. The office is clean and inviting, and I genuinely look forward to my visits. It is apparent they care about their clients and are not just money hungry. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my dental needs, and I highly suggest you check them out! Dr. Mitchell and his staff are superb! read more

I used to drive all the way from LA to Tucson to see my old dentist Dr. Doerr because thats where I'm from. Once you find a good dentist you feel safe and you want to keep seeing them. He retired and passed his office onto Dr. Mitchell. I trusted Dr. Doerr's decision and still drive all the way to Tucson to see Dr. Mitchell. You don't want to go to a dentist and feel like they are in a hurry and that they don't have time for you. Dr. Mitchell did a filling on me because there was a cavity between my molars. He made sure that when he made the porcelin filling it was completely smooth with no sharp edges. He made sure that there was no extra space for food to get stuck. He actually redid the porcelin because he wasn't satisfied with the way it came out. With Dr. Mitchell he isn't just going to do whatever it takes to get you out of the chair so that the next patient can come in. He takes his time and does the job right. read more

I must rave about my new dentist Dr. Brian Mitchell and his staff! Wow! Talk about walking into a professional atmosphere, friendly and just warm dental office. This is a must! I've never felt so comfortable that I could fall asleep while doing major dental work..He and his staff make you feel welcomed and family. Im very grateful for finally finding the right dental office. read more

This is a wonderful dental office--from the cleanliness and location, to the staff, and of course the dentist, Dr. Mitchell. My hygienist is Amy and she does a superb job (without discomfort!) Dr. Mitchell has done work for both me and my husband, and I guarantee you that if there is any issue, he willwork with you to resolve it. He recently capped a tooth of mine, and when he was done, my tooth felt wonderful. But, he insisted on a follow-up in a couple of weeks, and when I went back, he adjusted the byte, just a small amount. The "wonderful" feel I had initially was EVEN BETTER after the adjustment, and I didn't even know it was needed! Thanks to them, I don't dread those dental visits. They make it all as comfortable and painless as possible! read more

Our entire family believes in Brian and team. He does meticulously detailed dental work such that you always feel there are never any corners cut and the fit is right. Having had too much dental work done over the years, I was concerned about a new dentist when we moved into town. He's stabilized what was there, never pushed work. Insisted on saving rather than pulling teeth. He's done everything up and including an implant. My last cracked tooth due to an old crown was replaced with a new crown, designed on screen and made right in his office. Perfect fit. He is aware of all the latest technology, but only employs it when it's been proven. His entire staff, Tensey, Rhonda, Jessica, Chris, Bev etc are wonderful. I even stop by on holidays to say hello to let them know I appreciate them. That reminds me, I cracked a tooth at Thanksgiving, he came in on the next day, took care of me...and didn't charge. read more

Dr Mitchell's staff is awesome. When my fabulous regular hygienist was not available the entire staff teamed up to take care of me at my regular appointed time. I really appreciate their dedicated, outstanding teamwork. The care I receive is always great. read more

Dr. Mitchell had big shoes to fill when he took over Dr. John Doerr's practice! My family were loyal to Dr.Doerr for over 30 years so it was very hard for us to accept a new Dentist! Dr. Doerr did his research because he cared so much for all of his patients and he found Dr. Mitchell and his great team! Dr. Mitchell and his awesome hygienists take great care in treating their patients. We will be seeing him for as long as we need our teeth taken care of! read more

I had been going to the same dentist for 25 years before I visited Dr. Mitchell. What I experienced as a new patient was fantastic. During my first visit Dr. Mitchell and his entire team made me feel welcome and at ease. He took his time to explain all of my xrays, which normally would have confused and overwhelmed me. During the consultation we even had a few extra minutes to talk about our mutual love of the Rolling Stones. Having just completed my second visit to his office, I write this review to acknowledge the level of effort I can tell has been invested by Dr. Mitchell into building a great practice for his patients and employees. read more

I went to Dr. Mitchell to see if he could add a tooth to my partial since I had to get a tooth pulled. He said it was IMPOSSIBLE and that I'd have to buy a whole new partial for $2500! I went to another Dentist to get a 2nd opinion and I'm so glad I did because he pulled the tooth and added a tooth to the partial for under $500. So Dr. Mitchell flat out lied to me. I don't recommend this man. He's not honest, Just wants money. read more

Dr Mitchell is the "BOMB" as far as I'm concerned. I have been going to his office since his arrival in Tucson. He and his staff are very caring, friendly personable people. I am wearing braces at this time and sometimes it's even fun to be wearing them, if that's possible - lots of band colors to choose from to suit my crazy fashion mind. I love everyone in this office and cannot recommend this dental/orthodontic practice enough!! read more

I used to be terrified to go to the dentist. No longer. Dr. Mitchell and his staff are amazing! No pain, just a really nice and professional staff. Super clean and state of the art technology. Can't say enough good things and I just got back from a root canal and a beautiful crown! read more

I am 40 years young and am BiPolar. I have severe issues with anxiety and other hindering conditions. I explained my fears in detail to the receptionist, dental assistant, and finally to Dr Brian Mitchell. They each put me at ease and told me I had come to the right place. At my second appointment to have teeth removed, the process was prompt and everyone remembered what I needed to feel comfortable. I could not have asked for better treatment and compassion. I will be a paitient for life and will highly recommend to anyone of my friends and family that need help. You have truly restored my faith in Dr's truly wanting to help. I've had bad experiences with dentists in the past so it's easy to see that Dr. Mitchell is awesome. He did great work on my fillings and accommodated my jaw problems. He's honest and kind. His staff takes his lead and as a result they are professional and welcoming. Highly recommend! read more

Great job with a recent crown...was able to complete in 2 hours with new technology...no need for temporary or multiple appointments

I have been seeing Dr. Mitchell and his hygienist Amy for 2 years now. I have had nothing but good experiences there. I have recommended this dental practice to my friends and at least two of them see Dr. Mitchell now. Dr. Mitchell and his staff are so amazing and have made my visits to his office a pleasurable experience. I hadn't been to the dentist in several years, so I had a couple cavities that needed to be filled. Dr. Mitchell did such a great job, but since I couldn't really feel my tongue when he was done I later found a spot that needed a little more shaping. Before I had a chance to call in myself, his office called to check on me and then scheduled me immediately for a visit the next morning. I was then in and out within 15 minutes! I look forward to my next checkup. Thanks Dr. Mitchell! read more

Having not been to a dentist for years because of lack of insurance Dr. Mitchell and his staff put me at ease on the first visit. Have you ever nodded off from having a deep cleaning done? They're that good! No pain has been experienced in any of my visits before or after treatments. My crowns all feel natural and the coloring is right on. My last visit I needed a wisdom tooth pulled and before I could psych myself up for the impending pain I thought I was going to have from the extraction Dr. Mitchell said "Ok, you're done." read more

If you want a dentist who puts getting things right before doing it quickly with the most profit, then Dr. Mitchell is the right dentist for you. If you want a dentist who you can email evenings and weekends and get caring reassuring responses, then Dr. Mitchell is the dentist for you. If you want a team of dental assistants who are gentle, caring, informative and skilled then Rhonda and Perla are who you want. Having Rhonda by your side like bringing your best friend to every appointment. Dr. Mitchell nurtures kindness in his staff. If you're looking for a friendly helpful and efficient office staff then look no further than Beverly and Jess. I visited Dr. Mitchell's office after a very negative experience with a dentist in Oro Valley. I was looking for someone who could help me undo the damage that was done. My initial contact was with Beverly who was professional and empathetic. She invited me to come in for a consultation. My husband accompanied me on my initial consultation and we were both immediately struck by the office's warmth and family atmosphere. Dr. Mitchell listened to our concerns and advised us on how best to proceed. Flash forward to a year later with a totally new and beautiful smile that I love. That is the result of having a dentist with extraordinary skills and a compassionate team of assistants and office staff. I have lived all over the world and cannot count the number of dentists I have visited. Dr. Mitchell is by far the best. By the way, this is the first on line review I gave ever written. Relocating from a Dallas, Texas, I was referred by an orthodontist, as I was not pleased with any of the former dentists I went to. I am truly grateful for the referral to Dr. Michell's practice for many reasons...the administrative staff is personable and efficient, the office setting is clean, up-to-date and appears to be state of the art...the dental team of Rhonda and Dr. Mitchell are FANTASTIC and put you completely at ease as they are gentle, competent and do REMARKABLE, QUALITY COSMETIC work. Doctor Mitchell advises you exactly of the financials, what insurance pays and what my costs are prior to commencing work. My next experience is for my dental cleaning and I just signed my husband up to be under Dr. Mitchell's care. My husband found Dr. Mitchell first, as we were looking to change dentists. He came home after his appointment raving about the quality care he received from all of the staff & the state of the art equipment he had. We have been going to him for six months and the care & consideration we've both received has been exceptional! read more

A few years ago my family dentist retired and our insurance company kept recommending box store dentists in our area. We tried a few but found that these places were filled with unprofessional staff members and we never were able to see the same dentist twice in order to establish a relationship. After some searching we found Dr. Mitchell's office and we are very thankful that we did. The staff is friendly and the office creates a very tight knit community with all of its patients. Dr. Mitchell sends out monthly newsletters and every time you go in the staff remembers who you are and they pick up the conversation where if left off the last time they saw you. This is such an amazing dentist office because it is filled with amazing people. I have never had an issue with dental work or pricing here. Something that I do like is that they give you an estimate before doing the work, therefore you always know what you're getting into. Lastly, the dental hygienist are the best! My teeth have never felt cleaner after they finish with me. I am very thankful to have found Dr. Mitchell's Dentist office. read more
