Had a dental emergency over the weekend. I called at 9am and got in to see these great people at 0930. Issue was resolved and in 2 days I'm feeling much better. Nothing worse than dental pain. Great dentist and assistants. Had 2 crowns and a filling. Everyone was very nice and helpful and virtually pain free and smooth.

During a cleaning and regular checkup the hygienist got too rough and heavily scratched one of my teeth. I could constantly feel the rough feeling after the cleaning. Went back to see what could be done. They polished the tooth down but did nothing to remove the scratch and rough feeling. They claimed they didn't cause the damage. "Do no harm" read more

Office did not check with insurance to see if they would cover the new crown. As a result, I paid a $400 copay and am now paying an additional $380 because my insurance wouldn't cover the cost. If I had known prior to the procedure, I would have waited the 4 months until my insurance would cover it. I was not in pain and it was not an emergency. Only option was to be sent to collections by Dr. Tanner. Very disappointed. Do not recommend. read more

I was new patient and had a great experience. Rebecca was my hygienist and she did a great job with the x-rays and cleaning. Dr. Tanner was very nice and overall had a great experience. I have pretty good teeth and have had some bad experiences with new dentists trying to tell me I have problems just so they can make more money. The office didn't try to upsell or tell me something was wrong when all I needed was the basic 6 month and new patient services. My whole family is now using this office due to mine and my husband's positive experience. I would recommend this office to others. read more

She listens to you & asked me if I had pre-medicated & I had forgotten, so immediately got me some antibiotics. She's a Keeper... I live in Seattle and was quoted about $5000 to "fix" my cavities, crowns all the things. Noped the hell out of there and found Dr. Tanner through family. Dr. Tanner and his team saved my teeth from being drilled down and demolished by greedy people. Turns out I needed just one crown and a solid cleaning. The best part was that afterwards I got a notification on my phone that I had just finished a sleep. I was so at ease AT THE DENTIST with my mouth pried open that my watch thought I was sleeping. OUTSTANDING! Thanks to your reviews I paid a visit, now I'm one satisfied customer. Day one exam and cleaning and establishing plan. Day two, extraction and bridge prep, design, and install, all done onsite, total process on day two, less than 4 hours, and I even took 1 1/2 hour break to take my dog out. Update, two hours and I can eat beef jerky, I am soooo stoked about the Doc and the team, also the extraction wasn't a cake walk, it was the remains of a broken off tooth next to a tooth in which the 42 year old US Air Force filling had fallen out...all skill! read more

I have been with Dr Tanner for now going on 10+ years. I first started going to him when he was with Gental Dental. I was referred to him by a co-worker and have been with him ever since. This guy and his crew are amazing. This is the only dentist that I have had where I call them first to see what insurance they take and then see what the employer offers. And then research to see what it will cost to go out on my own for dental insurance. Thank you to Ashley for answering any and all questions. I found out that he even has patients that set their appointments around their vacations to Tucson. That to me speaks volumes. I have had many dentists over the years but I can only recall 3 and 2 of them were from my childhood, Tanner is the 3rd. Office is clean and the staff are amazing. Great dentist and excellent, professional staff. Dr Tanner is the most painless novocaine injector I've ever known - and I've been to lots of dentists. Amazingly, he can make a crown (in my case, without a model, because I lost mine) while you wait. The crowns are of some high tech ceramic that's extremely strong; I've had mine for a year and love it. I live by the U of A and am willing to drive 30 minutes to get to this dentist's office, which is a pretty good indication of how much I like Dr Tanner. I've never experienced any kind of upselling from these folks, ever. Highly recommended! read more

I'm new here in Tucson so I rely a lot on Yelp reviews. Naturally you need a dentist. So I looked on Yelp and saw Precise Dental and decided to give it a go because the reviews were awesome. Well, let me start by saying the office manager is so nice and very accommodating. She answered all of my questions and assured me that Dr Tanner would be gentle and I'd be happy with his work. My first appointment was very thorough and never tried pushing anything that didn't need to be done. Although he did notice I was a snorer and introduced a mouth guard to me. I was so happy to finally have something that works. My husband was very happy I got it. Dr Tanner gave me a shot that I NEVER FELT that was number one, number two, he has the most up to date technology equipment in his practice that it's a one day crown procedure. He drilled and put a crown on all in the same day!!! Who does that?!!?!! Dr. Tanner does, that's who. He's awesome!!! He's our new Dentist and I couldn't be happier with his work!
