Our entire family (my husband, our children, and I) were patients at Rockside Dental for several years. We ultimately switched practices after my daughter had a dental emergency during a week the office was closed for a staff retreat, leaving us scrambling to find another dentist. In hindsight, that ended up being a blessing. One of my biggest concerns was my oldest daughter's underbite. At multiple appointments, I brought it up and was repeatedly told to wait and see. After switching dentists, she was immediately referred to an orthodontist, where we learned she has complex jaw issues that should have been evaluated much sooner. As a parent, it was frustrating to realize that concerns I'd been raising for years weren't taken more seriously. My younger daughter was never told she had any significant dental concerns while at Rockside. At her first visit with our new dentist, several cavities and other dental work were identified. It's certainly possible some of that developed between visits, but given our overall experience, it left me questioning whether things had been missed. I also had a chipped tooth repaired at Rockside in 2023. When the dentist asked if it felt right after the repair, I told him three separate times that it didn't. Each time, I was reassured that it only felt strange because I wasn't used to it. Within a year, the filling came off while I was simply moving my tongue against it. For comparison, I had another chipped tooth repaired nearly 20 years ago that has never given me a single problem. After all of these experiences, we've lost confidence in the care we received and have found a dentist who has been much more thorough and proactive. I wish we had made the switch sooner. read more

I had an outstanding experience, earlier today, when I went to Rockside Dental in Tucson, I believe (?) they are located on Silverbell Avenue. Recently, i have been having some pain with one particular tooth area. The office staff members were friendly, polite and helpful! I then had a dental consult with (I believe) his name is Dr. Jackson. What a great experience! The doctor listened to the explanation for my visit. He then proceeded to let me know that my particular dental situation requires a visit to a different type of dental specialist, and he said that he would be happy to refer me to such a specialist. Great people, good listeners, and now a very appropriate referral. Thank you Rockside Dental !!!!! read more

Dr. Jackson is an amazing dentist. Very gentle. Always explains what to expect. Friendly staff and comfortable office.

Awful dentist! He thinks the only reason to remove amalgams fillings is cosmetic! What a dumb ass ! And they are putting flouride into your root canals! Go to a biological dentist! read more

I've been going here for a few years and am so proud of how much growth the dental office has had over the last couple of years. They are currently expanding and really are a people first and focused on giving back to the community. All my cleanings have been of great quality, and although sometimes it's hard to book, I always manage to get in my 2 cleanings per year. I'm so glad I found this great dental office. What an amazing office from the moment you walk in. From front desk, to Hygienist, to the Doctor. I would recommend this office to anyone. The office is spotless (big issue with me) people are knowledgeable, everyone looks and projects professionalism. A dentist never thought I would walk out not feeling petrified or fleeced. Prices are exceptional for an office that has every new technology in dentistry. Honestly they are well worth a check out read more

I starred going to Rockside a year or so ago and they have been really great. Their staff is super friendly and they do a great job.

Dentists and hygienists are great. Book keeping is terrible. No communication. No bills sent at all. Then suddenly a $4000 bill! Husband needed a lot of dental work. We understood we paid our share as we went along for amount insurance didn't cover. When we asked what happened we were told insurance didn't pay. That's not true. Checked thru paperwork they gave us. All insurance payments were made. Office has no way to assign payment to a claim. I just think they are excessively expensive read more

They were amazing! They were very patient and explained everything in detail for my treatment. Very highly recommend!

I had an emergency situation with an object in my gum causing severe pain and swelling. These guys took me right in and fixed me up. They also didn't gouged me with the price either. I really appreciate that and won't forget it. Well done you guys! read more

I scheduled my new patient appointment June 2023, they did not have availability until Feb 2024, scheduler took down my insurance and said she would add me to the waitlist in case someone canceled earlier. I call the day of my appt to verify the time and they said I wasn't on the schedule! She indicated they could see me for my X-rays but didn't have cleanings until Sept 2024!! Found this office in my Marana neighborhood soon after their initial opening. It did take a minute to get a hygiene appt, but where can one get in to a hygienist anytime they want? I took appt for X-rays & exam for a couple weeks out. 2 days prior I called to ask if cancelations occur in the same day please call me. Turns out I got my teeth cleaned as well. Friendly and professional. The business office is very on top of the insurance game and know my benefit allowance before my arrival. They recommend treatment but are not pushy. ***disclosure: I have a 30 yr history in the dental field and I am very confident I am in good hands with Rockside Dental. read more

About a month ago I had a 10 year old veneer decide to let go. It was off to left side of my smile and wasn't really noticeable. My decision was I would take care of it once things in my life slowed down. Fast forward to last Thursday while at my favorite restaurant eating chicken wings I bit into a bone and cracked the crown that was right next to the tooth that once had the veneer. Now my grill was really jacked up. I was now in a panic situation because my wedding was in two days (15 Feb) needless to say the next day (Valentines Day) I started making calls to local dentists. I spoke with Amanda at Rockside Dental, she was so nice on the phone and told me to stop by and let them take a look. I was also concerned about quotes I had received from other dental offices I thought were very expensive. Time was running out on Friday. I was not able to make it to Rockside Dental until 3pm. I already figured there was no way they would be able to squeeze me in at the last minute. Once I arrived I asked for Amanda. Immediately she went into action, 5 minutes later I'm in a dental chair and Dr. Jackson was introducing himself. Dr. J had no X-rays or pictures of what my teeth looked like prior. He asked me for consent to begin work and I gave it to him. Hour and half later I was walking out the door with my smile back intact. Two beautifully matched temporary crowns! Amanda gave me the bill afterwards and it was cheaper than all my other quotes! Unbelievable!! Words can not express the gratitude I have for this great experience I had with Rockside Dental!! I am definitely a new customer and will be moving all my family dental needs to this office. Thank You SO MUCH Amanda and Dr. Jackson... you guys ROCK!! read more
