The office gave me a treatment plan stating that my dental insurance would not cover all services,…read moreI asked Clara at the front desk why it wasn't covered and she told me that it was over my annual max. Clara sent me an affirm link to apply for the loan for payment prior to services being rendered. The loan amount was over $1,200. I later recieved an EOB from my insurance stating that I should owe a total of $250 for services. I shared the EOB with Clara and she stated that the claim was filed under a provider that was in network with my insurance although I received treatment from an out of network provider. I was never told that the provider was out of network, until after the services were rendered. I spoke with my insurance company and Clara and she said that it was on my treatment plan. I have reviewed my treatment plan multiple times, and nowhere does it state that I was seeing an out of network provider. Clara said she will resubmit the claims to reflect the provider that I saw so that the EOB would match the loan amount. Clara got very aggressive over the phone, I'm sure that the insurance company has a recording of the call. In an attempt to embarrass me Clara stated "I know you are lost your job, but I hope things get better for you". I am fully employed and not sure who she was referring to but this is no way to speak to patients. Now, when dialing the office phone there is a recording stating "This has been identified as likely a scam. It is advised that you hang up now" prior to dialing out to the number. There is another review stating that they did something similar to someone else. I would suggest thinking twice before booking here.

IF they had bothered to look outside the window they would've seen me. But the reason they were looking for me is because they were trying to sell us a huge contract... Like buying a car. Let me say, it is a good thing that they didn't call me back there because I would have called them out immediately told my husband "Let's go" We walked out with a jaw dropping $20k plan? (I later found out) and NO cleaning. This is unethical, never before has a dentist done this to me or anyone that I have talked to about it recently. Literally no one ..... So I researched. While dentists can propose extensive treatment plans, a sudden $20,000 plan presented during a routine cleaning appointment is NOT typical or normal for most patients. These red flags are concerning. Being told you need extensive work when you've had minimal issues in the past is indeed a red flag for overtreatment. AND It's considered unethical for dentists to recommend unnecessary procedures or pressure patients into costly treatments, especially to capitalize on dental insurance benefits. Never in my life have I had a dentist do this. And I was born at night, but it wasn't last night... I feel bad for other people that are being taken advantage of here. My advice... Find another Dentist.

Dr Davenport was able to adjust a partial denture that had been causing me unrelenting pain for months and it just took 2 appointments (one in the morning and one in the afternoon). I was IMPRESSED!! My dental health has improved since becoming a patient. It took YEARS for me to find this practice and I so glad I did!! I am completely confident that they have my dental care in their capable hands. I will be a patient for the rest of my life. It is sadly rare to feel that confident in a medical practitioner!
