At first it seemed like good place, everyone seemed nice; but when I got my quote for the work I needed done they didn't run my secondary insurance and the only reason I found out is because my husband went there and needed the same work done and his was way cheaper, he questioned them and that's when they changed it. Fast forward to today, I get a call from a collection agency saying I owe $79 dollars, come to find out they didn't run my insurance correctly when I got my cleaning and xray. Luckily our insurance agent helped us out and got it sorted out. I didn't receive any notice of owning money, they just sent it. I'm just glad our insurance does cover everything. I went to Perfect Teeth/Brident at 7850 N Silverbell Rd, Marana, AZ 85743. The office manager, Natalie, sat with me, showed me the computer, and made the estimate. I paid $1800 as the estimate stated. Then, months later, I received a bill for $930 still owed. They claim that this amount is a RESPONSIBLE difference. It turns out that Natalie didn't code the estimate correctly. Now, they are withholding my X-rays due to non-payment. Total frauds! I wish I had read reviews first. Also, the dentist was an hour late to my appointment after they gave me medication, which then stopped working because the dentist was late. read more

I went in for a cleaning in the summer of 2023. This occured at the Perfect Teeth location at Yale in Lakewood. It was recommended that I come back for additional services. In the meantime, the Yale office shuttered and charged me for a missing appointment. I showed up for my appointment and the office was closed. In May of 2024, I recieved a missed appointment fee. I was both upsold on services I didn't need. I didn't get to interface with an actual dentist. And I was inacurately charged. Their statments don't provide a website or payment portal. You never know what your account balance is without calling in. Perfect Teeth is a scam. This is not a real dentist. read more

Two days ago (5/14/24) I had all of my teeth extracted, my upper and lower Tori removed, bottom of lower jaw shaved, cut and flattened in preparation for dentures, and bone grafts done in several of the larger holes created when their tooth/root contents were removed. All of these extractions were the result of strong chemo eating away at the teeth at my gum line thus inviting cavities and decay. This powerful chemo was given to me weekly by my oncologist over a 10 year period. Chemo was successful and put me in semi-remission for about 5 years. Last year the cancer raised its ugly head again. I've been on Chemo again until it was determined that it was doing no good. At that point my oncologist told me to get into a hospice program. The chemo was only one factor causing my extractions. The other was that all of my teeth were loosened due to a fall on my face where I broke my jaw. An oral/plastic surgeon tried to aline my broken jaw. But he couldn't do much to help my loosened and broken off teeth. They continued to deteriorate over the next two years. My poor teeth didn't have a chance. They all had to be removed: 5 whole teeth that hadn't broken off yet plus 17 teeth that had broken off at the gum line. The surgeon had to dig out the roots of these 17 teeth. Surgeon removed 22 teeth in total. My surgeon was competent, professional, explained everything as he went along and appeared to be very knowledgeable. Besides, I think he's a nice guy. I go back to see him in a couple of weeks. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs special care or even routine care for their teeth. The Perfect Teeth - Continental Ranch office was attractive and well designed and there was plenty of parking available. The staff members that I met were superior. There are several ladies in the back offices who do cleanings, etc. The ladies that I did meet included the Receptionist, who is a friendly knowledgeable gem and a couple of others whose names and job details I don't remember. I dealt mostly with the Office Manager. She is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and empathetic (even when she is handing you a large bill). She seems like a terrific person and certainly an asset to Perfect Teeth's Continental Ranch, Marana office. One thing that helped me make the decision to have all of my teeth removed at the same time at this facility was that their prices are not as high as the rest of the dentists in the area. I highly recommend and give a five star rating to Perfect Teeth's Continental Ranch dental office located next to Fry's in the shopping center at Cortaro and Silverbell in Marana. The customer service was good, making the appointment was easy. However, they diagnosed me with periodontal disease and bone loss. I hadn't been to the dentist in 2 years. I wasn't able to go to my previous dentist due to costs. Perfect Teeth had a new patient "deal" .. $34 for X-rays and exam. After X-rays and exams, I was told that my cleaning would be $3,000, in which I could come in sections to complete. My gum measurements were in the 4s and 5s, as well as some 2s & 3s. Basically, they couldn't clean my "okay teeth" because I was "diagnosed" with periodontal disease, so the other teeth....too bad, so sad, no cleaning! I knew these results were wrong since I've always gone to the dentist until just recently. For years, my teeth and gums were in very good to good standing. My old dentist ended up doing a promotion, and I got a second opinion. I don't have periodontal disease or bone loss, and my teeth look beautiful. They did note that I would need 2 crowns soonish, due to old fillings cracking from childhood, which "perfect teeth" did not pick up on. I had my teeth cleaned by the old company, and I couldn't be happier. I saved a lot of money and pain and hassle by NOT going with "perfect teeth." I do NOT recommend them at all. Do not ever use Derek Schop, DMD at Perfect Teeth in Continental Ranch/Marana. I use to love my female dentist there then she left and he came in. He has ZERO bedside manners. When I got my crown it took an additional week than what they quoted me to receive it then they had to send it back. Weeks later when the second one came in I told him it was hurting me when he put it on and his reaction was angrily, " Well I don't see why you think it is! It shouldn't be!" Helloooooo it's MY MOUTH and YES IT HURTS! Furthermore it STILL does months later! I was sent a bill which I questioned the front office girl about as my insurance should've covered the procedure. She was to check into it. This girl is the ditziest girl I've ever seen. I really loved the one who use to be there but after she went on maternity leave she didn't return. This ditzy girl is dumber than a box of rocks. She never followed up with me. I have receipt of emails sent to this dental office on 4/28, 5/1 and 6/2. No one ever responded. I spoke with a live person mid May who assured me she would figure out what the bill was for and get back with me. Nothing. Today I got a bill from collections. I truly hope you never go to this dental office. The dentist and the front office girl are HORRID and the billing department doesn't respond to inquiries. read more

We have been seeing Cynthia (hygienist) for almost 2 years now and she is amazing!! She is extremely nice and nonjudgmental. I have had bad experiences before and made to feel shameful if I forgot to floss. Her teaching and cleaning is very gentle. I brought my one year old in today and she was amazing with him as well! This is unfortunately the worst experience I have ever had with a dental office. I am a nurse and due to Covid-19, it has been difficult to finish my Invisalign regimen. I had a temporary cap placed in December and I need to have my permanent cap finished. I am exposed to this disease every day and I try to make appointments based on my hospital schedule. If I am off for 3 days or so, I try to make a dental appointment when I am least likely to be contagious. I have been waiting three weeks for a return call for an appointment. I have left multiple messages and sent emails. This has happened multiple times over a year. I am an essential worker. I am doing my best to stop the spread of Covid-19 and a dental office is a very high risk environment. As soon as I return for my permanent cap and Invisalign retainer, I will never return to this office. The front desk is horrible and does not appear to know what they are doing. I never post reviews, but this experience has been frustrating and unacceptable. It should not be this hard to get a return call. It has been three weeks and it is not the first time! read more

First let me say I was really looking forward to having found a dentist based on the experience I had with the ladies in the front office. All positive.I arrived for the appointment and it started out with a wonderful Hygienist doing the x-rays. Then came one Dr. George Michael. He did not introduce himself. The first thing I noticed was his breath, as his mask was pulled down exposing his nose and mustache. Offputting at best, a huge red flag as well. He barked At the hygienist, referring to him as 'dude' and in the most disdainful, snide, and brusque tone, which he continued to use with me during the short time I was there. He made absolutely zero attempt to gauge my comfort level, was rough in the exam, and worse with the Novacaine shot. I stated that it was hurting me, to which he replied in a most overbearing, forceful tone,"There's no good way to give a shot." Yes, a shot to the mouth is what it is, we all know that. But there are better ways to do it then jabbing it in with absolutely no regard for the patient. He made that very clear. He seems like a miserable human being and I hope someday he feels better, but in the meantime he should stay away from patients.He may indeed be licensed to practice dentistry, however this man is no doctor. My husband needed a cleaning and possible filling on Dec.14, 2021 Was told they took Humana. I am not sure exactly what happened but he walked out of there sith a $795. Invoice for the exrays, cleaning and some kind of antibiotic treatment to prevent further problems which he paid for with his debit card. He was not advised what the cost would be. Then when he received his bank statement for that period, discovered a charge of $129.00 for a dental program to be automatically charged every year. If you are hard of hearing, take someone with you to make sure you understand what you're signing up for. I'll be filing a complaint with Humana as well. read more

Perfect teeth in Marana on silverbell told me that my insurance would not cover the x-rays during my initial visit but not to worry because they would not charge me for them. Two people told me this and I double checked with both of them because I am on disability and could not afford a bill. They confirmed I would not be charged. Weeks later I received a bill for $102 dollars. I got in touch with the billing department and they said that my insurance didn't cover the x-rays and that I owed the $102. This dentist office is as unethical as it gets! We have recently moved to Tucson from another state where me and my family of 4 would get checkups every 6 months. The dentists that we have been going to for years before moving here said that all of us had healthy teeth and practiced good oral hygiene. When we went to Perfect Teeth Continental on Silverbell in Marana, the front desk administrator could not figure out what the costs would be even though I have great dental insurance. Then, I get the compulsory xrays. Next I see a "dental hygienist", who proceeds to tell me that I was loosing my teeth because of gum disease, and that it would cost a fortune for the treatment. When I told her that for 20 years none of the dentists in my home state always complimented me on my great strong teeth, she said that they were lying to keep me around. After many unforseen bills later, I switched dentists and am happy to say my new dentist is honest. By the way, I never did see an actual dentist. Every time she would say that he was dealing with a crisis at home or working in another office. Long story short, stay away from Perfect Teeth Conental affiliated dentist offices. read more

The dental provider staff themself is terrific--I have nothing but lovely things to say about my periodontist and his assistants. Their billing department is another thing. The billing department is engaging in balance billing, in violation of their contract with Delta Dental. I have had to spend a lot of time to resolve previous billing issues. I furthermore have secondary coverage that picks up anything that primary insurance does not cover. It appears that this office is engaging in "double-dipping", collecting on charges from the patient that in some cases they are contractually obligated to write off, or in my case, billing my secondary coverage AND me for charges remaining after my primary insurance has made their payment, sending the patient balance to collections, resulting in hits to my credit rating. Unless the new office manager is successful in forcefully banning this unethical practice, I STRONGLY recommend that anyone dealing with this problem find an ethical dentist office. read more

The dentists and hygienists are great...but the office's billing system is the worst. They will send you bills before your insurance has had a chance to pay its portion. Then, you get bill after bill saying you owe the full price. I called someone to talk about this because it kept happening and no one called me back. We were new patients and liked the dentists and hygienist. Unfortunately, the front desk people fall down on the job with billing. I was charged for two things the insurance company said I shouldn't have been. Cigna sent me the codes that I forwarded to Bree as proof. I was reimbursed for one of the charges then a month later was billed for it again! I have not yet been reimbursed for the second charge. After a few phone calls and e-mail (that wasn't even responded to) the situation still isn't resolved. Because I have no confidence in the front desk to read insurance codes and collect money properly or respond to and fix and error, I am taking my business elsewhere. We went because my experience the first time was amazing in 2017. Well my mistake. All new staff. Their is a long story but the short one is the desk person was arrogant about my husbands issue without even seeing him first. Then the doctor said up to $30,000 out the gate. It was a simple extraction without a root canal and the charge was more than any other dental office (in hindsight). Ugh. Dr. Shaw (I think) came down in prices for the remaining denture alternatives but still very high. In my case the hygienist was a masochist. When scraping my teeth she nicked my gums several times. When Dr. Shaw looked he commented that my teeth are not in as good shape as I think and suggested many alternatives that the next doc said was not needed for another 10 years maybe.
