Great choices of food, chill atmosphere. There is a decent choice of beers, including local breweries. Outdoor seating but there is a covered area w heat. There's a stage so maybe music on weekends. Tap House is just for alcohol and other drinks. The food is your choice between the 4 different food trucks! They do have a nice sitting area. We only bought from the burger place, which is good except their corn bread is as hard as a hockey puck! You can find also the other food truck with fish and chips, corn dogs, and pizza! read more

They have several food carts and a great bar area. Food is made fresh and it's delicious. My wife and I have eaten here on several occasions and the food is always great. The service is great and the bar tenders are attentive. The ambiance is nice. read more

While driving from Crater Lake to Bend, my husband and I decided to stop at Wetlands Taphouse for a bathroom break and a refreshing pint. I ordered a seltzer while my husband enjoyed one of their amber ales that they had on tap. We enjoyed the outdoor open seating which faced a meadow. The space itself is very relaxing with a variety of yard games and food truck options to choose from. We didn't order any food to eat, but we did notice that they had pizza and corn dogs (yum!). It looked like they have a nice stage set up for live music although no one was playing while we were there. A dog friendly space with ample parking - an all around win! Definitely a nice spot to stop and enjoy a drink if you find yourself in the area. read more

Fat Kat BBQ was the culinary highlight of our trip to the Sunriver area. The burger with brisket on top was top notch. Fries excellent, too. Just super delicious. Girlfriend got a corn dog at the corn dog place- that was awesome too. Definitely will be returning whenever we are in the area. read more

This is an interesting spot here in S. La Pine. The outside seating is great, weather allowing. Lots of families with kids and appropriate food for the fams. We were guided here by the Darlene 3 fire because everything in north La Pine (where our hotel was) was closed and under evacuation, and we were on a dirtbike trip through the area. The Taphouse was open and serving and the only food truck open was LaChapelles pizza. The Skelton crew was made up of the people who weren't under evacuation orders. Huge thanks to all of them. Great service and selection from the taphouse, and delicious pizza that was well worth the wait from LaChapelle's. We have been here three separate times as we pass though and have tried all four food trucks! They are all amazing! The pizza was great; the corn dogs are "awesomeness" as my son says; they have deep fried candy bars ;) the fish and chips are some of the best I've had (I'm from the Oregon Coast); and the bbq is great as well. We stopped here for a late lunch on a cold winter Saturday. The views are amazing, three sisters (mountains) across the field. The tent had a roaring fire pit going. There are options for food trucks: BBQ, chicken, pizza or fish truck. I choose the fish tacos. Good, but very much battered deep fried fish portions. And for $14 for 3 small tacos, quite pricey. My friends opted for the chicken (wrap and sandwich) Also deep fried. Also pricey at $15 for a wrap. The pizza truck was busy and the pizzas that rolled out of it looked amazing. Maybe we should have shared one of those... oh well, next time. Definitely a fun place to stop for a bite to eat with great views. In LaPine, behind the gas station and the brew house building. You order drinks inside the wetlands Tap house building, food outside. Tap house bartender was very friendly. She was attempting to help me find a beer I would like, sadly I wasn't feeling it. I probably just wasn't in a beer mood because there was a range of beers from Coors to craft stouts, ales, porters, and more. There were mixed drinks as well. My spouse decided on the salt porter from Cascade brewing company. There is a great outdoor patio area with a large enclosed section with a propane fire pit. DOG FRIENDLY. Next to the patio area is five food trucks: pizza truck, seafood truck, BBQ truck, and two that appeared closed. A picture on google map of a hamburger from the BBQ truck is what had us heading for them. Sadly, Michael, BBQ truck cashier said they haven't made those for at least two years. So I got the brisket tacos and spouse got the tri top sandwich with onion rings. Brisket tacos...ok. I would not recommend or order again. The tortillas were cold, brisket had more fat than I like. There was cabbage and cream sauce on them. There was an occasional sweetness to the meat...I don't care to mix my savory and sweet. I added lime juice, pico, hot sauce and salt made it more palatable for me. Tri-tip sandwich....ok. The meat was tender, way too much coleslaw on it. Although coleslaw was creamy and tasty I have would have preferred cheese on the sandwich and the coleslaw on the side. The onion rings were hot, crispy, and taste. FYI PARKING IS SMALL however there is a empty hotel next door where we parked our truck and trailer. If you're passing through I would recommend stopping in, you'll enjoy it. read more

It was Sunday afternoon and medium busy. The taproom was very busy with a nice selection of beers. Not all of the food trucks were working but my wife got chicken tacos that were very good. With a recommendation on the 1/2 lbs dog fully loaded from Fat Kat BBQ I choose that. First off it was a very good dog nicely loaded but way smaller than 1/2 lbs as advertised. A Costco dog is a 1/4 lbs and this dog was smaller than that. But saying again it was very good, just not what I had expected. Overall a very nice experience and we would go back again. Went for the first time Last night. Brought out of town family. Pizza was good and decor is AMAZING! Great ambiance, however service inside or lack there of was SUBPAR! Not one employee or owner came to table. I felt we were little kids not knowing how to swim and were Thrown in The deep end of a pool. You're all on your own here..... belly up to bar and food trucks.......TAG! You're IT! With their high prices (50.00 for two pizzas) I much prefer to be "waited on" when I go out on the (small) town! This new place is a little ways from us but worth the drive. We went for the first time in winter and there were a couple of options for seating. A firepit warmed large covered and enclosed structure and the bar area. This venue is a unique setup with resident food trucks where you order and then be seated in either place until you are paged. We did pizza for this trip and it was quite good. They have a selection of beer and wine and the atmosphere is very social. A different kind of experience but a lot of fun. During warmer months there is seating outside in view of the fields surrounding the location.. we will be back and will also try some of the other food trucks. read more

So far I've tried the pizza, bbq, and the chicken. Chicken trailer was out of a lot of things I would've liked to order but otherwise good. The chicken was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. The sliders from the bbq trailer were excellent, although they use one patty instead of four small ones so the beef isn't always distributed evenly. The pickles and onions on the sliders may have been the best part. Of the three options I've tried, the pizza from my previous visit was the best. Good ingredients, right amount of cheese and the sauce was good too. Service has always been excellent on each of my visits. For those of you concerned about the lack of seating, the tent out back is toasty warm and the view is great ! read more

Stopped into Wetlands at 5:54 pm with my service dogs. Waitress asked if they are service dogs in which I said yes and stated it was too hot to put their vests on (97 degrees outside). This is also why we were sitting inside. Waitress immediately went to the back and the owner, Cory, came out. Asked me for a card in which I informed him that I am not required to have a card. Then asked why they didn't have vests in which I again informed him of my rights and that a service dog is not required to wear a vest. He told to bring the dogs outside as the dogs are not welcome inside. I stood up for my rights again in which he stated that he refused to serve my husband and I and we needed to leave or he would call the sheriffs office. Cory, Here's the FACT! Some individuals with a disability with service animals may have their animals wear vests as a way of communication with the public, but it isn't required. In fact, there is no requirement for service animals to wear any form of identification or for the owner to carry any identification proving the animal is indeed a service animal. YOU sir are NOT in compliance with the ADA! You embarrassed us in front of the other patrons, you were rude and treated us disrespectfully. I will be turning your business in as this is unacceptable for me and every other person with a bonafide service animal! read more

I'm from out of town, Wetlands was recommended by a local I met. Very happy I visited, amazing environment, cheap drinks. On top of that they have a beautiful outdoor area with a few food trucks. The bartenders were very friendly, 10/10 for customer service. Would visit again if in the area :) read more

Really disappointed in the BBQ food truck. Brisket was really fat and tough. Mac and cheese was cold and had no flavor whatsoever. Cole slaw was good but that was it. Definitely not worth $20. Good variety of beverages both alcoholic and non alcoholic. Could use some additional shade coverage as it was hot and the covered patio was full. Not much parking either. A really mixed bag but not much open in La Pine on a Sunday. read more

Food: Fat Kat BBQ - I have ordered the Brisket Sandwich now 2 times just to see consistency. 1st time - Not Bad - low level Smokey, ok flavor, HUGE!, needed salt - Slaw was boring and useless - Sides were bland and not seasoned - They didn't give us the sauces they offered for some reason. $20 a plate. 2nd time - Not very good - Meat was dry and underwhelming seemed like leftovers - sides were watering and lifeless Overall cool place but not being consistent with food trucks is going to be a hard bargain for people wanting to return.. attention: use salt.. like seriously lol read more

Been here 5 times, but tonight was unacceptable. They had a comedy show, we walked into the front door with no sign that said anything about a coverage charge! We ordered a beer and food and sat outside!( "Owner showed up and said we could eat inside or pay the $10) we said we'd just finish our meal and leave! The owner wasn't happy with this and told us too leave! Long story short he called the police and said we were belligerent and wouldn't leave! The cops showed up and let us finish our meal! We were paying customers and got the cops called on us because we walked in the front door with no cover charge sign, ordered a beer and food, and didn't know about a cover charge. I have been here twice and have been so impressed both times. The workers in the tap house are so nice and make sure to greet every customer with a smile on their face. I love that they don't rush you on making a drink decision and are happy to answer any questions. Love the fire pit area and that they have tons of seating. So far I've had the chicken strips from the chicken food truck and both times the food was hot and the service was excellent. Highly recommend Wetlands!! Keep up the good work!! read more

Great place. The service was awesome, the food trucks had a great selection of foods to order from and the outside area was perfect. We went in Nov and it was 38 degrees. With the fire pits and covered area we were not cold at all. The kids loved the space to run around in and the stage with games was prefect for them. We would come back for sure. read more

if you like hard right, redneck bars playing country music you'll love it. The food was pretty good for a while but went down hill like a skier in a time trial. it's pretty expensive and not very fast. the bar is nice, if you love blue lives matter art, you're in luck! The pizza isn't bad or was at least but it took almost an hour to get it on a busy evening. it's a nice view from the enclosed area. that's the best thing about it. it's too much what Lapine was (extremely conservative and lacking diversity) and not much of what it's becoming for my taste but someone else may love it. all in all it seems like an interesting idea executed badly. read more

Two trips to Wetlands Taphouse so far. The food is mediocre at best. First tasting was a 12-hour smoked Ruben. No smoke?? Small town smoker is most likely a wood pellet smoker. If you have been to Texas and sampled real BBQ, you know the taste. Second tasting was a trip to the Fish Lips truck. Anyone who has tasted real Halibut knows the mild flavorful texture. This order of Fish Lips Basket Halibut & Frys was a letdown. Looked like and tasted like those battered fish fillets found in your grocery store. Save your money, buy good whiskey. The bar is well stocked with a good sampling of local craft beer. This should please little town La Pine. IPA is on tap and will make the west coast crowd happy. I went for the Stout, gud stuff. Both stops at the south end watering hole, the staff was there to meet & greet. Pleasent and asked about the service and food. Ambiance is different; a little bit of everything. Food trucks, a covered view with firepit, even a stage for a small band to keep patrons entertained during pleasant weather. The question that puzzles those that live in La Pine, Parking?? Parking is the nemesis of La Pine. Never enough anywhere a crowd wants to gather, try the DMV or the Post Office. As a well-traveled person/taster, at times it is just a little thing which makes a line form at the front door. One watering hole served a small selection for the lunch crowd. Their salads were the best in town. All the good stuff was there, not 95% lettuce. Their secret was homemade salad dressings, to die for. A classic best is a hole in the wall pizza parlor. They make their own dough, but the piece de resistance is the sauce. Secret stuff made at home by the owner since the late 1940's early 1950's. 2nd & 3rd generation owner(s) still have a line at the door and patrons waiting in their cars for a pizza with nothing other than pepperoni & cheese. Takes a good cook in the kitchen. La Pine needs the main attraction. read more
