I'd like it better if the deli section the store was built to hold still existed (as opposed to odd lift-up glass covered sections for prepared deli type food). I can deal with the mixed quality of the produce -- some is great, some not so much, so just pay attention when you're shopping produce. What I can't deal with is the meat case that seemingly doesn't keep the meat cold enough. On multiple occasions I have bought meat from that case (e.g., fresh whole chicken or more recently hot Italian pork sausage) that, upon opening at home, I discovered had gone bad, presumably because it got too warm in that case. And that's after picking product from the very back in order to hopefully maximize refrigeration. Net: come here if you have to, but if you're in Sunriver, I'd recommend trips to Market of Choice or Whole Foods in Bend. Nothing screws up a dinner plan like opening the meat and saying, "oh no, I can't use this."
