Authentically outstanding! would consider myself to be a taco food critic. I've tried nearly every food truck and popular (unpopular too) tacos in Central Oregon. I usually prefer authentic Mexican style street tacos, but I genuinely can not rave enough about art behind Aaron's taco craft. There is something special and unique about WestSide tacos in Redmond, OR. Aaron and his crew have what what it takes to go the distance in the food industry, and frankly they have been under rated for what they are. I have never been disappointed after eating their tacos, but today I was utterly blown away by the extreme flavor of their Al Pastor tacos. The combination of the Al Pastor style meat with the mango salsa and pineapple was mouthwatering. I have never written a review anywhere for anything in my life, but these tacos deserve an award. Many more awards I suppose... Something big. Aaron's customer service was unmatched. He followed up with us after we ate to check in and even told us everything he used to make those tacos! Excellent customer service, flavor, follow up and flare. I didn't even talk about the Zuccinni fries! A perfect crunch on the outside with a deliciously soft zucchini center. *I was not paid or bribed to write this, but he should really be charging $10/taco. Just had two fabulous vegetarian tacos!!! One was a grilled veggie and the other was a Thai veggie taco. Delicious!! I could have had them vegan, but I love Cotija (sp?) cheese. They were PACKED with veggies and topped with fresh salsa and cabbage. The tortilla was handmade and thick and fresh - everything is handmade. The tacos were perfect alongside my Kobold IPA. My husband got some meat tacos which he said were, "The best tacos I've ever had." Admittedly, I disagreed with the ONE dollar sign on Yelp initially when we saw $4 a piece for the tacos, but they weren't puny appetizer tacos, they were MEAL tacos so the one dollar sign is super appropriate. read more

Enjoyed a street taco w family at the Redmond October Fest yesterday. Food trailer is outside of course nice patio area I asked for my 2 tacos with no shell as I wanted to have a salad instead. I asked for extra lettuce and tomato if they had it in place of cost of the shell. Got no extra lettuce and they don't have tomatoes. Flavor was good.
