There's not a ton of seating here, but they can accommodate groups of up to about six or eight, and have lots of seating for between two and five. We seated quickly by a very nice waitress. Upfront, they have a case with all of their desserts in them. These ranges from chocolate mousse and crème brûlée to tiramisu and eclairs. Pretty much something for everybody! The food here was very good! A couple of us had sandwiches, my wife and I shared a salad, we shared a small meat and cheese tray, and also a crêpe. Everything was very good! They had some legitimate French cheeses and the dessert options were quite solid. The only thing that kept this place from being a true five was the baguette. Making true French baguettes is a tall order, and while these were good, it was really the only place that we were left wanting a little bit. We've always sat in the main part of the Tavern, but the first person arriving chose to sit in the side room which seems to be a back-up supplies room with a long table for guests since it was quieter. It was quieter. No matter the sitting location, the service has always been great. I had the Reuben sandwich, and it was excellent--flavorful, well made, and generously portioned. Even better, they actually had horseradish available, which is surprisingly hard to find and made the whole thing even better for me. The French dip sadly tasted better without all of its companions. Next up was the Wagyu cheeseburger, seemed to have a grainy texture to its bites, with a disappointing finish. The WF calamari was tweaked adding green olives and whole tentacles, which was weird considering it's never been that way. Honestly the best item we got was the Gorgonzola wagyu beef kabobs. These were cooked to perfection and gave us that reversion we craved. Although this was our first bad experience here, it will not deter us from returning. I don't remember the amount, but it was obvious the dealer running things did not appreciate the amount tipped? he held up the money and was shouting thanks for this large tip or something like that. My fiend and I was pretty sure it was sarcasm. since the room is somewhat professional, I guess the tip amount was insulting? I never went back since $230 is alot to me and my friend paid most of the buyin for me. I asked my friend if he still plays the tournament there while he was complaining and he only plays the big game now not any tournaments since what happened.
