Initially thought we would eat there but quickly realized it was more for takeout and the inside seating and atmosphere was limited to a narrow area. The place was packed. We soon understood why. The prices were much lower than most pizza places. We got a large supreme for 13.99, and two small salads for $3.99 ea. They weren't that small and we had both leftover pizza and salad for the next day. Lotta value for the $$ spent. Glad we saw this place because eating out has gotten so expensive. Okay, I'm born in 1989 and have been yearning and constantly looking for a pizza place to scratch my TMNT pizza fix. Tonys is absolutely amazing. They are a no fuss pizza place when it comes to cheese or pepperoni. I really wanted to like Tony's Pizza since so many people recommended it, but I was honestly disappointed. The pizza had almost no cheese just a thin, uneven layer that barely covered the crust. It felt like they completely skipped one of the most important parts of the pizza. For $26, I expected a good amount of cheese and flavor, but instead, it was mostly bread with a little sauce. I placed a Order through there website and the pick up time was for 7:35 and I went in at 7:40 for them to tell me it's still getting made and it will be a couple of minutes. I waited for 35 minutes just for them to tell me they had it ready the whole time but there was 2 Orders with the same name and that they couldn't find it when they went to go check. read more

This experience was below my expectations by a long shot. I'm pregnant, just got over Covid. Needless to say, I'm exhausted. My husband and son want pizza, so they talked me into letting them order pizza for delivery, (not much persuasion needed, I guess). We order a couple pizzas, a salad and some Italian cheese bread from our friends down at Tony's! We love Tony's- if we order pizza or have party's, this is where the pies come from!! Almost 1 hour after ordering (it was about 50 minutes), we check again for a status on our order; it still says "in preparation." Wondering if something had gone wrong, we called the store. After not being answered a couple times, we finally get an employee, who puts us on hold. Manager gets in the phone and asked for the name. When I told him, he says "ya, it's been done. Is that all?" So I asked, if it's been done, when do you think it will be delivered? "It's been 47 minutes so probably not for another 45 minutes, we are waiting for another order to come in so we can deliver it at the same time. " I told him I was afraid it wouldn't be good still after that long... his response (you can't make this stuff up-- he says "You wanted FRESH pizza?!" My head about spun in circles. Not even the end of that. I just cancelled. I couldn't believe the attitude or the inconsideration this "manager" projected! Tony's, I really hope you can reach out to me or at least learn from this. This place is cool. Small business feel and terrific attitude by the staff. They care about what they're doing. Tuesday February 28th 2023. Placed my order at 5:47 pm and received an email saying will be delivered at 6:47pm. 7:01 pm no pizza so I called. They said the pizza hadn't left the oven so I asked how much longer? They informed me another 25 minutes... I asked to cancel the order and magically my pizza just came out of the oven.... However, pizza arrived at 7:40 pm. I get it places get busy but this is not normal nor is it good service. It's Tuesday evening. I ordered 55 pizzas from Tony's for a high school function. I chose them mainly because of the price of their pizzas and because they were relatively close to Ahtanum Youth Park, where we were having the retreat. I had never ordered from Tony's before, so I wasn't expecting the highest quality or best flavor given the price. First off, the people I spoke with about the order were polite and helpful. That's always a good sign. On the day of the event, the pizzas were ready on time and still warm after 20 minutes of transport and set up time. The really pleasant surprise was the quality of the pizzas. The crust was not paper thin and had great flavor. The toppings were more than adequate and also had great flavor. All in all, one of the better pizzas I've had in Yakima. -- much better than the chain stores! The price just added to the overall satisfaction. Seven dollars and change for a large, 2-topping?? Tony's is located near me making them very convenient. If you order a pizza it's great, if you get their "hot and ready" you'll likely feel let down, but honestly it's sort of expected. Salutations! I'm looking for a pizza place that sort of reminds me of Little Caesars, may have been a little Caesars in the past, but is no longer a little Caesars. Found it! Tony's big cheese pizza satisfies the craving for a combination of hometown pizza with an inexpensive pizza. They do an excellent job withtheir five dollar to go pizzas and have plenty of other options for whatever you are feeling like. It's the sort of place where you can run in and run out within a couple of minutes as they've always got to go stuff ready. Very friendly service and there's usually a line, but again it tends to move pretty quick. This used to be my kids favorite place. We could order online, set the time walk in and we have a hot tasty pizza.
