We recently had a very upsetting experience with Westside Pizza after the store accidentally delivered a $120 order to our home that we did not place. Someone at the house accepted the delivery assuming another family member had ordered it, which is not unusual in our busy household. About an hour later, the owner arrived at our home with another man in an unmarked car and aggressively pounded on the door. My babysitter was home at the time and was too scared to answer because she had no idea who they were or why they were banging on the door. There was nothing identifying them as being from Westside Pizza. The next day, Tasha (the owner) left a voicemail for my son wanting to know why the order had been accepted and threatened that we would no longer be allowed to order from the store and demanding a call back. It felt very sketchy that they had used their website information to obtain my son's phone number. At this time, I did not know she was the one banging on my door the night before. I immediately called her back and I was very upset from her voicemail. She demanded to know why we accepted a $120 order, I explained that our bephew had just passed and the person who accepted the food had no clue that it was not for our household. She responded "Oh really is that why you were hiding and wouldn't answer the door when I came back? I heard you telling a little girl to be quiet!" At that point I was pissed! I told her so you are the one who came to my house banging on the door for 3 minutes and scared my babysitter and my 3yr old?! Don't you ever come to my house again! She told me that she was calling the cops and that I could explain to them why I accepted an order for $120. I told her to go ahead and call them and I would be waiting for them and I was laughing at her as I told her it was her mistake not mine. I said I wanted to talk to someone above her and that's when she said that she was the owner. I told her I was going to give her a bad review and she said to go ahead that she has multiple and doesn't care. She then told me she was going to call the cops on me for cussing her out. I laughed at her again and told her to make sure she wrote these words down and I cussed her out and hung up. My issue has never been the mistaken delivery itself. Mistakes happen. My concern is how the situation was handled afterward. Showing up at a customer's private residence in an unmarked vehicle and escalating the situation over a store delivery error was completely inappropriate and made my family feel uncomfortable and intimidated in our own home. Corporate eventually acknowledged the delivery mistake was the store's fault and instructed the location not to contact us further, but they never meaningfully addressed the owner's conduct. I'm sharing this because I think customers should know how situations like this may be handled. The owner Tasha proved that she has some mental problems and boundary issues. Regardless, their pizza is trash. Abby's pizza is 100% better. read more

I love this pizza chain! I've been to a few of them, usually on road trips and it's one of my favorites. Not too expensive to feed the whole family, their salads are always really fresh and I love their Italian dressing. I could literally eat pizza all day e'ry day and this place his one of my top 5 favorite gluten free crusts. It's fluffy and absolute perfection! Their wine and beer list is extensive and I love that they carry local selections and support the small communities. Ambiance is just that of a typical pizza joint, not super upscale BUT great for the whole family! We came to Westside Pizza today and just had the Big Kahuna, Garlic Pizza and Tue Pepperoni. We also had Cheese Bread. All of it was amazing. We frequent pizza joints and this is one of the best we have been to. We are traveling across country as we stopped. Tue service was stellar and very friendly and quick. I called to oder a pizza before five on a Tuesday. The guy who answered the phone and one I placed my order with were both great. I asked to do curbside pickup (which the website says they do) the guy said just call when I arrived and they would bring it out. They said it should be ready in 15 minutes. I called when I got there a girl answered said they don't do curbside I would have to come in and get it. I put on my mask and went in. No one inside was wearing one even though there's a mask mandate. I have Leukemia and have been trying to avoid people that's why I chose a place that said they did curbside. I have been here about 4 times now. It is a decent place to go, Pretty clean. It is a franchise type place and the product falls in line with those. Nothing special about the pizza. It is worth the price but it has been hit or miss. 3 times I ordered the same pizza and 3 times it was totally different. I would push my review to 3.5 stars. I like the thin crust pizza by death. Strange name. You would think it would be piled high with toppings but that's just not the case. I would personally drop that name from it. One time there I ordered a beer and when I asked for another they had to wait 10 minutes because no one there at the time was old enough to pour beer, until their delivery driver got back. During that wait time I became very dehydrated:))) That is a management issue that needs resolved. The crust wasn't bad either...not great, but at least the ends didn't have to get thrown out. After living in Yakima for about eight months, we're still in search of a really solid pizza place. That changed about a month ago when we found two top notch places in a row, Westside pizza being one of them! We came with a group of friends on a Sunday evening and found there to be a half-dozen other friends but also brought their families there that night. There's plenty of seating, a small game room in back and also a number of TVs, including a projection screen for bigger games. The pizzas here are solid. We ordered one with a lot of meat and one with a lot of meat and some veggies! I believe the pies were the meat mania and the death by pizza, respectively. Both are very good, and two of them fed four adults and three kids with about a half a pizza left over. Following the completion of our meat and cheese filled adventure, the kids obviously wanted ice cream. Luckily, Westside pizza had six or so flavors of ice cream including cotton candy... A crowd favorite for anyone in the crowd under the age of six! We all ended up leaving fall and happy! Replicate the flavor by thinning down some tomato paste? - Crust: fine, but there was a bitter undertone - I'm not sure if it was burnt on the bottom or what. - Dough: not tasty, undercooked in the middle This meal felt more like 'I'm starting a pizza restaurant and am trying out new recipes and trying to figure out how to use the pizza oven" than, you know, something from a popular franchise. The last two time I've ordered from Westside Pizza I've had to rearrange my day waiting for the pizza to be made or delivered! The time before this last terrible experience I walked in and ordered the pizza we wanted for dinner. They told me it would be ready in roughly an hour. The manager Markus took our order at 5:00PM for large cheese pepperoni pizza with 3 drinks. At this time there was only one other costumer in the dinning area. about 10 minutes later 4 other costumers were siting in the dinning area. at 5:20 I went up to the counter asked one of the waiter how much longer this will be before I got my pizza. He asked me for my table number and I gave it to him. he goes looks at the board and stated yours will be done in 2 more minutes. At this time other tables are getting there orders and eating a total of 5 tables were served , but not our table. At 5:45 I asked the waiter how much longer because it should of not taken 45 minutes for my table to be served while others have gotten their orders and were eating. She stated she would talk to the manager and that was all that was said. The manager did not come out to speak to us or try to fix this he just stayed in the back corner off to the side. I asked for a refund at this time the and asked to speak to the manager whom could not tell me the reason why my order took 50 minutes as we were leaving . I receive redound for pizza but we paid for the 3 drinks. He did not apologize or do anything to make this right. This was on 4/20/23 at 4:55 PM. read more
