Tony promised to fix the problems and they were fixed with rubber bands and glue. All mechanics who have checked them out said they were done on the cheap and that is why they are breaking down. RUN as fast as you can away from this car dealer. I got taken to the cleaners and am down over $9K on the hunks of junk they sold me!

The car had a few cosmetic issues that were agreed would be fixed. In addition I was told to drive it for a week and let them know of anything else that needed to be fixed and they would take care of it. The very next day the check engine light came on and I made Tony aware and he promised they would fix it. Long story short they kept the car 3 weeks, when returned over half the lights on the dash no longer worked. I was told the Chevy dealership that had the car was responsible. Not being stupid I realized they'd spent the last 3 weeks trying to turn the light off not fixing the problem. I was asked to bring it back and the problem would be resolved, I took it back and left had second thoughts about the unsafe loaner they gave me and returned to find their "mechanics" in my car the dash in pieces when I'd been told it was being returned to the dealership that was responsible. They were shocked to see me back caught redhanded. Don't trust Tony or Alvardo they are shysters, crooks and liars.

I've purchased many vehicles over the years and normally don't leave reviews, but this experience…read moredeserves to be shared. I've been trying to purchase a Tacoma from Camelback Toyota because I've had good experiences with the dealership in the past, including buying my Tundra there. My family has also purchased several other vehicles over the years, including Lexus models from other dealerships, so I'm very familiar with the car-buying process. Unfortunately, this experience has been extremely disappointing due to the way Mike, one of the managers, handled the situation. Initially, Ryan had quoted me $4,500 for a lift and tire package. Later, when I spoke with Mike, he changed the price to $4,875. When I asked why the price was different, he said it was because this was a different truck. I explained that the truck shouldn't matter because I was simply purchasing the same lift and tire package. I also asked whether I could keep my original tires if I purchased the package. Mike told me no and said the original tires had to stay unless I paid an additional $600. This confused me because when I purchased a lift and tires through the same dealership in the past, I was allowed to keep my original tires at no extra charge. I mentioned that I had already called other shops and found the same setup for about $1,000 less, but we were still considering doing the work at the dealership to help protect the truck's warranty. When I bought my Tundra, I was told that installing a lift outside the dealership could potentially affect warranty coverage, so we were trying to stay loyal to Camelback Toyota despite the higher price. Things became worse after I told the salesperson that I wanted to speak directly with Ryan again to better understand why the pricing and terms had suddenly changed. Shortly after that, Mike sent me what I felt was a very rude and unprofessional text message. In the text, he accused me of not taking "small steps" while claiming he was "going miles" for me. He repeatedly brought up the MSRP price of the truck and implied that I couldn't afford it. To be clear, I understood we were negotiating. The truck was listed around $55,000, and I was trying to get closer to $49,000. Ryan had previously mentioned he could potentially do around $52,200, so we were still working through numbers. Negotiation is normal in car buying, but the way Mike handled it was disrespectful and unnecessary. My wife had already left a review a few weeks ago because she also felt Mike was rude during an earlier interaction. We were actually ready to walk away at that point, but we decided to give the dealership another chance because of our previous positive experiences there and because we wanted to continue doing business with them. Unfortunately, this second experience only made things worse. What's most frustrating is the inconsistency between managers. One manager tells us one thing, while another changes the pricing and conditions completely. On top of that, I've tried asking to speak with the general manager so I can show the text messages, discuss the pricing discrepancies, and explain our concerns directly, but no one has provided me with contact information or helped escalate the issue. At the end of the day, buying a truck is a major purchase for our family. We simply wanted transparency, professionalism, and fair treatment. Instead, we were met with aggressive behavior, conflicting information, and disrespectful comments. Camelback Toyota has a large inventory and plenty of opportunities to earn loyal customers, which is why it's disappointing to see behavior like this from management. I truly hope the general manager sees this review, addresses the situation, and takes steps to improve how customers are treated moving forward.

I've had no serious problems with the car, just typical maintenance. I would've written a review sooner but I wanted to wait to see if the car held up, as I've had some die immediately after or a yr later. I will definitely return if I need a new car & I 100% recommend! My car was clean, in good condition, with no safety concerns!

He told me to go ahead and file a complaint, so I did. Since they refuse to assist even though this is a safety issue as described by The AZ Department of Transportation. I am filing a complaint regarding this dealer with ADOT and the AZ Attorney General's office. THIS DEALER IS TOTALLY UNETHICAL. DO NOT VISIT THEIR DEALERSHIP. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! ADDENDUM: Jay, the owner of Glendale Auto Source just contacted me. I now see why their customer service is so bad. I am not surprised however. In every company, the culture comes from the top. First of all he said "these reviews don't matter. It wont change anything". He may in fact be right. We will see. Next, he indicated that he is not going to talk to me because I am not the one who actually purchased the car. My step son was. So, I guess I am not allowed to intervene in affairs involving my family. WRONG!!!!! I am still going to. Finally, he said that he "never had anyone talk to one of his people and within 15 minutes, write a poor review" Well, Since their rating is 3.7 here, I guess everyone else has waited more than 15 minutes to negatively review their establishment. Also, they took 43 days to actually payoff the loan on my step sons trade-in. 43 Days before the car was registered to him. 2 days before his temporary expired. he had to keep calling and calling to get updates on when it would be done. Having several car dealerships as clients, I can tell you the ONLY reason a car dealership takes that long to payoff a trade is because they have cash flow issues. Most likely, they were waiting for another car to sell so they could use those funds to pay of my step sons trade-in. I reiterate my point. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP. THEY HAVE 15 REVIEWS ON YELP!. OF THOSE 15, TEN ARE FIVE STARS AND FIVE ARE 1 STAR. THAT MEANS ONE THIRD OF THEIR CUSTOMERS ARE NOT HAPPY. BY COMPARISON, MY RATING ON YELP IS FIVE STARS. MAYBE THEY SHOULD LISTEN TO ME. GIVEN MY PROFESSION, I COULD RUN THAT COMPANY MUCH BETTER THAN JAY DOES.

Attention! Don't Make the Mistake of Trusting Tricolor Auto Group…read more My experience with Tricolor Auto Group has been one of the worst I've ever had with a car dealership. From the beginning, they have broken promises, withheld information, and shown a complete lack of professionalism. Here are the detailed issues I've faced: 1. Broken Promises Regarding License Plate Delivery I paid all the necessary fees for the vehicle registration and license plate, trusting that Tricolor Auto Group would handle the process. However, I never received my plate. When I tried to resolve the issue, they provided no clear answers or solutions, forcing me to pay for the process again. 2. Mechanical Issues with the Vehicle Despite purchasing the vehicle with the expectation that it was in good condition, serious mechanical issues arose much sooner than expected. I had to replace the battery out of pocket, an expense that should have been covered if the car had been properly inspected. I also had to pay for the repair of the EVAP valve, which should not have failed so quickly. 3. Lack of Transparency with Payment Breakdown Over two months ago, I requested a detailed breakdown of my payments--something any customer has the right to receive. Despite multiple attempts to obtain this information, they still have not provided it. This lack of transparency makes it impossible to verify if the charges are fair. 4. They Made Me Pay for a Service That Was Already Included As part of my purchase agreement, I was supposed to have oil changes included. However, due to the lack of knowledge and misinformation from the branch manager and employees, I was forced to pay out of pocket for an oil change that should have been covered. When I tried to clarify the situation, no one at the branch could provide a clear response or take responsibility. 5. Inefficient and Frustrating Customer Service Tricolor Auto Group used to have an automated system that returned calls, but it no longer works. On multiple occasions, I tried to reach a representative, but the system would not allow me to speak to a real person or receive useful responses. When I finally managed to contact someone, the customer service was unprofessional, uninterested in helping, and unable to provide clear solutions. 6. If You Insist Too Much, They Might Block You If you repeatedly call to demand solutions, they might block your calls and messages. This happened to me with a branch manager. Instead of addressing my concerns, she simply chose to ignore me. This level of disregard for customers demonstrates the poor service and lack of responsibility this company has. 7. The Stress from This Company Can Drive You to Desperation Even if you pay on time and are a good customer, don't expect any concessions from them. You will not receive any information that could benefit you or help you navigate a difficult situation. Dealing with this company is so frustrating that it can push you to desperation. 8. What to Do If You're Already Stuck with Them? If you've unfortunately already purchased a vehicle from Tricolor Auto Group, I strongly recommend the following: Save all documentation (contracts, receipts, messages, emails). Always request names and reference numbers every time you speak with customer service. Keep a detailed record as I have done, including emails, screenshots, receipts, and any other evidence that could help in case you need to file a complaint. If you notice any irregularities, be prepared to file a complaint. You can file complaints at the following places: Better Business Bureau (BBB) (www.bbb.org) Federal Trade Commission (FTC) (www.ftc.gov) Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) (www.consumerfinance.gov) Attorney General of your state (in this case, Arizona) Google Reviews and Yelp to warn other buyers --- Conclusion If you're considering buying a vehicle from them, think twice. You won't receive the service or support you'd expect from a reputable company. They don't fulfill their promises, unexpected costs can arise without explanation, and customer service is unhelpful. If you already have a vehicle with them, document everything and prepare for any issues that may arise. I'm currently in the process of refinancing my vehicle to get away from this company as soon as possible. I don't want anyone else to go through this frustration, so I will be posting this review on Google Maps, Yelp, and other platforms to warn future buyers. This review has been posted at all Tricolor Auto Group locations in Phoenix and on other platforms such as Google Maps, Yelp, and BBB to warn more people about their business practices and prevent others from experiencing the same issues.
