Avocado Graham Shake
Ro Ann V.

I think about the Avocado Graham Shake from West Side Boba about once a week. It's just too good Being raised in a Filipino household, this was part of my childhood; avocado, condensed milk, creamer, etc. What a treat it really is. They especially make ice candy as well! Not only do I enjoy the drinks at West Side Boba, but I truly appreciate their service and the owners who make every handcrafted item with care and craftsmanship. They truly take pride in their work and it shows through how delicious their drinks are!

This place is incredible 100/10 Not only did I love my Boba but also when I spilt my boba all over my car the nice man working gave me a new one without any hesitation I love the avocado one and the jasmine tea boba!!!! You need to try this place.

One of the many Lāhaina businesses that thankfully was able to relocate to Maika'i Market in Kahului, they offer plenty of different boba drinks and their signature is their avocado graham shake! The perfect texture and taste, also highly recommend the Chocolate Malt or the Strawberry flavored drinks! - Miguel Morales Photography

Omg ever since I discovered this food truck from a yelp elite experience, I literally cannot stay away! I live just minutes away and I'm not afraid to admit that I'm there almost every day they're open. I tried their best seller, avocado graham shake and the hype is real! It's been awhile since I've had a dominantly avocado dessert so I was nervous but they got me hooked! Plus I'm not known to grab boba, I'll opt for jellies instead but West Side Boba's boba is like extra crack on top of their already crack filled avocado graham shake lol. They serve it warm in the drink and it just tastes fresh. It's soft and chewy in a good way unlike other spots you see them scoop it from a bucket like it's been sitting forever and it's kind of hard. I just went and to my surprise they RAN OUT of avocado, I'm telling you it's that good. But it gave me a chance to try their seasonal mango graham shake. Also yummy! But avocado graham is my first love with extra boba! We call it avocado salad, cause you know, girl math. The owners are both super friendly so stop reading and just head over and order up! They're quick to fulfill orders even when they're busy and there's nice seating areas to wait or you can walk around and check out the other vendors in the area.

Chocolate malt boba milk with pastilla

Westside Boba was originally located on the "Westside" in Lahaina and relocated to Kahului following the wildfires. I decided to stop by their new location after a few drinks piqued my interest. I have been here a handful of times since then and I have to say, I am a fan! Their menu consists of milk-based and tea-based drinks as well as fruit teas. They also have add-ons like cheese foam and my favorite, pastillas. I haven't seen anyone else offer pastillas and it's the one thing that keeps me coming back for more. It's basically a thickened condensed milk, so if you love condensed milk like me, it's a must! I also love all things malt flavored so the chocolate malt with pastillas is my go-to order. I've also tried the brown sugar boba with cheese brulee, dirty brown sugar, and the biscoff boba. They all taste good and each offers a little something unique compared to your run of the mill boba offerings. All in all, I enjoy coming here. Service is quick and easy and I never have to wait very long. After a few visits, the owner knows me by name and my go-to order which was a nice surprise. It goes to show that they pay attention to their customers. Definitely recommend a stopping here for your boba fix. They are located in a small lot next to the new Bank of Hawaii at the Maika'i Market. Parking is in the back of the building and there are also covered tables to enjoy your treat!

We were craving boba so decided to give this new boba truck a try. We've passed by several times before and it seemed like they had a steady stream of customers so we figured it must be good and we were right! This truck is located in the new food truck hub in the old American Savings bank parking lot near Maui Mall. There a few picnic tables if you want to enjoy your food there. They have milk, tea, and fruit based drinks. We ordered the brown sugar boba milk. It was so rich and creamy! The boba was soft, chewy, and sweet. It's one of the best bobas we've had in awhile! The service was fast and friendly. We'll definitely be back to try more drinks on their menu.

Westside Boba is a excellent spot if you're craving some good boba/milk tea. They are located along Puunene Avenue in the paved area fronting the Molokai Bread Shop. I ordered the Brown Sugar Boba and it was delicious. It had a good amount of tea flavor and sweetness. I also like that there is a seating area where you can relax and enjoy your drink rather than taking it on the go. If you're in the area and craving some boba, I recommend Westside Boba.

They reopened today in Kahului by Bank of Hawaii. Had the brown sugar lava milk tea. Excellent quality.

Avocado graham shake is my favorite. They're friendly and nice. It's a food truck place, there are few tables and chairs if you want to enjoy your food and drinks right there.

We are from the Bay Area and usually go thru boba withdrawals on Maui. Have tried a couple places in Kahului that just were not great. Super excited about Westside Boba!! The drinks were delicious and the boba was perfectly sweet and chewy. YAY! We ordered a classic milk tea, a Blue Mountain coffee milk tea, and a classic tea (no milk). All were made perfectly, and the young woman working was very willing to customize the sweetness levels. Loved the tshirt and wish they sold them. Only downside if it took a little long, since the worker had such little space. But I could tell she made the drinks with care and was doing her best. Support this business! We want to have quality boba on Maui!

If people cant start their day without coffee, I cant end mine without milktea and Boba. Been a frequent island guest and I can say, Westside finally has Westside Boba to add to their "must-stop" in Lahaina/Maui. For that sunny days to cool you down after a day at the beach or from a trek or those island rainy days to cheer you up. Quick service and friendly couple who owns the best boba in westside, if not the whole Maui! Tried their milktea flavors in one of the parties they catered and decided to stop by to their trailer. My fave is their Brown sugar milk with Pastillas(milk custard). Scraped off the bottom of the cup to get that milk goodness! Theyre along the Lahainaluna road with ample parking in front of the big boulders if youre planning to drive by or hang out by the bench in the back or by the boulders with your boba crew. Dont leave Maui without stopping by. Support the Locals in the island, its a way of giving back to the graciousness of Maui!

I've been missing that Signature broth that Ba-Le is known for since our Kihei location closed long…read moreago so I made a stop here to Wailuku location after an appointment and I was ready to eat. I only waited maybe less than 10 minutes after ordering. A lot of people take out since there's a few irritating flies and a couple small tables and chairs. The aunty that works there was so sweet and got me hoisin sauce and black pepper and told me to scoot my small table and chair to eat in the shade. I ordered a Mango Boba drink which reminded me of Guri Guri to be honest. (If you're visiting Maui and haven't had Guri Guri, go get yourself some asap!) I loved it. I usually get Honeydew but Mango was just as good! The Chicken Pho was delicious! They gave me a couple slices of jalapeños, bean sprouts, a small lemon wedge and a lot of Thai basil. I loved that yummy comforting broth with slices of white onions, green onions and shredded chicken. Perfect for Maui "winter weather" which is usually 60's-70's lol. If you're looking for a yummy Bahn Mi, I recommend the Chicken (or Tofu) Lemongrass sandwich on Crispy French bread or the Vermicelli noodles with Pork and Imperial Rolls. I've also had their Garlic Shrimp plate and BBQ chicken in times past with Salad and is also very tasty.

Da Tambayan Corner in Kahului has become one of my go-to spots when I'm not sure what I'm…read morecraving--because they've got a little bit of everything. The food truck lot has grown a lot recently, expanding into the adjacent lot with more space for trucks and more better parking (huge win). They have a cute little setup with a covered area for eating, plenty of tables, and even events happening from time to time. I think you can rent the space out too if you're planning your own event. Some of my favorite trucks here are Da Soriano Grindz for their calamansi pork belly plate (seriously hits every time), Aloha Pho Maui when I'm in the mood for Vietnamese, and Street Market Boba--because no visit is complete without a dessert and a good boba fix. I love that you can come with friends or family, and everyone can find something totally different to enjoy. From Filipino to Vietnamese to Mexican and more, the variety makes it an easy pick. Whether you're just grabbing lunch or hanging out for a bit, Da Tambayan is definitely worth checking out.

I had a little time for a quick snack so grabbed a taco from Linda's taco truck and it was very satisfying. The place was decked out for Halloween. There's a good variety of food trucks to please every appetite.
