I have to admit, I've been trying to avoid this place because I knew i would want to buy everything. The bandaid was ripped off yesterday when I took my mini to get pizza from little Caesars yesterday thinking we could dine in but it's carry out only. Icy Bubble had a lot of people going in and so we spontaneously went next door and put our pizza on one of their small tables. It was game over. My mini was throwing a tantrum and wanted to eat asap, so we quickly ate our food there. Then we walked around a bit and I kept seeing all the treats everyone was going in for and walking out with. Apparently, this business has been around since 2015, though in a different location. I had not been aware of it until a couple of weeks ago and that makes me sad. This incredibly cute little store has not only delectable boba drinks and ice cream treats, but also many trinkets and assorted housewares at decent prices. The drinks are delicious and the boba pearls come to you warm at the bottom of the reusable cup. I had the ube smoothie and my daughter had the banana Nutella smoothie. We also tried the Strawberry sandwich, weird but light and yummy, and the sprinkle delight. Came for the desserts, stayed for the atmosphere. Other than serving delicious bubble waffles and rolled ice cream, this location has one of the COOLEST interiors I have ever seen. There is a Lego wall on which kids can build, an arcade machine, and a store full of Japanese goods. The woman at the counter was friendly and efficient. The food came out quickly and was very good. The boba scene on Maui is severely lacking. And so, when I heard S7 Icey Bubble opened, I was cautiously optimistic. I've been here a few times now since they've opened. The first time, I honestly wasn't sure if I was in the right place as you could see shelves lined with products through the windows and even more random inventory of items as you open the doors. The counters are located at the very back of the shop and can get quite congested when they're busy. They have a pretty good amount of menu items from boba, to smoothies, to other frozen drinks, rolled ice cream, rice yogurt, and more. So far, I've tried the Midnight Tea, Purple Fantasy, and their cookies and cream rolled ice cream. The Purple Fantasy has been my favorite by far and keep going back just for that. It's made with cashews. sesame, peanut, taro, and cheese foam. Highly recommend! Also, the rolled ice cream legit took 30 minutes to make which not sure why, but we won't be getting that again if the wait is that long. Overall though, this is probably one of the better boba on island that's closer to the kind you'd find on Oahu and the mainland and the price is also reasonable. There's so much potential here, I'm just not really a fan of all the random knick knacks. The seating area and retail area should switch sides so that the space opens up more and people don't have line up through all the "stuff." The kids did have fun playing with the lego wall though and the claw machine is a fun feature. Also, they are conveniently located in the same building as Panda Express. There is a good amount of parking available, but you may find it harder to get in/out when the Panda drive-through gets long. read more

Ever since I moved to Maui, I've been on the hunt for the best bubble tea. They're hard to find on Maui and I've tried quite a few, but nothing comes close to Icy Bubble. My favorite drink is the strawberry smoothie. They're made with real fruit and don't taste artificial. They blend the drink until smooth and creamy. I'm not the biggest fan of additions, but they have mochi, boba, and jelly you can add to your drink. They're also well known for their rolled ice cream. I've had one and they're HUGE. I recommend splitting your first one and going back for another if you want more. This is also a fun place to play with Legos or catch up with friends. Leaving LA last year to move to Maui, I knew that the boba tea supply on island is a little low, so I was so happy to find this location! Originally, I found it via my UberEats app, which was great to place the order online and go pick it up. It's located next to Panda Express in front of Walmart, so the lot is a little tricky to enter. When you walk in, you will notice a Daiso-looking store up front with the actual boba bar in the back. The menu is pretty vast, with items like smoothies if you're not a fan of boba in general. We ordered a brown sugar milk tea and a mango jelly drink to try different options. Both were delicious, although we didn't realize boba came in the mango jelly drink. There is a points system, so sign up for that for rewards! There's plenty of seating inside as well, which is great for the hot summer days in town. I will definitely be back to try more flavors! read more

Decided to brave the line and try this new boba place near Walmart. There is plenty of parking close by. They sell boba milk teas, smoothies, shakes, fruit teas, and rolled ice cream. They also sell small trendy gift items so when you walk in it looks like you're in a Temu store. One wall is a clever Lego wall where you can be creative and add to the wall art. We ordered the Signature Milk Tea (traditional brown sugar with boba) and Nice Uncle Milk Tea (brown sugar with boba, azuki beans, and pudding). The line went pretty quickly and the wait for our order wasn't too long. The Signature tea had a good taste and the boba wasn't too hard or soft. The Nice Uncle was a bit thicker due to the pudding and azuki beans but tasted similar to the Signature boba. They were out of rolled ice cream so we'll have to come back to try that. This boba Cafe / Chinese knock off knick knack store is great for a cheap, chill night out. Hear me out. Eat a great, hot, fresh, affordable meal at Panda Express (yes, Panda Express, remember we are in Maui. Be grateful.) then when you are full and need to walk around a little, go to S7, browse around at all the random items for sale. Be astounded at how cheap they are selling for and the laughable English marketing on some of the products. Then, when the food has gone down a little, head up to the front to order a boba drink (or not, there's also fruit sparkling drinks and the roll ice cream prepared in front of you). Go grab a table, seating is on the other side of the store not full of knock-offs but a really cool wall of Lego like art that you can contribute to! First impression as we walked in was this spot was so cute! It took me to like the K Drama films I watch, it was very refreshing! A variety of kids toys, household gadgets and stuffed toys was too cute! The seating area is very welcoming, comfortable and relaxing. We got to put our name up on the wall of leggos so that was fun!!
