Finding this hidden gem was one of the best experiences throughout our Maui trip. We kept trying to find a gift shop the entire trip and on one of the last days, we popped into here and was instantly greeted by a very very nice man named Larry. He kept helping us find different trinkets, grabbing any wind chimes and/or tikis we wanted, and was super personable. After getting sticker shock from some shops nearby, my daughter and I walked in, not expecting much after our previous experiences. This shop is DIFFERENT. First, like neighboring shops, they have many items. But it wasn't jam-packed to where it was difficult to move. Also, I loved the aesthetics of this shop. They had many items that I wanted to buy and tempted me to buy a suitcase just so I could get a checked bag full of gifts (we were traveling with carry-ons only). We found pretty dresses that were very reasonably priced! So we bought two. I loved the shell-decor (there were lamps, wall art, so much!) but due to my carry-on, I settled with a beautiful shell ornament. It was probably for the best;) My daughter found a bracelet to give for a friend's birthday and I found wood chimes I had been looking forever for! Well, at least a few years. I knew I wanted them as a gift for my husband and it was hard to find reasonably priced, minimalistic ones ... until we found Hawaii Gift & Craft. We left with a bounty yet didn't feel like our wallets took a huge hit. Would certainly recommend and want to return the next time we're back on Maui. read more

My ABSOLUTE favorite place to shop and buy souvenirs in Maui. We originally came here in 2012 and went crazy over how decently priced the items were. Not to mention, they were of awesome quality. Fast forward to 2018 and here we are on another vacation in Kihei. (We totally shouldn't have waited this long to come back haha). My mom and I were wondering if this place was still around. Low and behind, walking up the steep driveway into the parking lot... THERE IT WAS!!!! IT WAS STILL HERE!!! We were SO excited. Seriously, this place was on my list of spots to revisit. They have a huuuuuge variety of goodies and the prices are ridiculously good. Everything this time was even more cute that I remember. lol. Customer service is awesome. The owner is incredibly sweet and has a stand at the Maui swap meet on Saturday's the items I wanted were sold out in the color I like so she suggested I go to her store on my way to my resort in Wailea. So stopping by the lady first of all could not even say hello. When I asked her for what I was looking for she said what you see is what you get. Totally disregarding that I told her the owner insured me there would be some in store. The one staff that works here is very patient and friendly! My husband and 2 little girls came to check out some things for my little girls to buy with their own money. This cute little shop shop had plenty of items that was very affordable from little souvenirs to hand crafted wooden items for gifts for people to decorating your house. Honestly, for how cute the shop was and all the really great things it had for sell I thought I would be sticker shocked but it was the opposite and was completely shocked at how cheap quality looking pieces were. Love this store! Love it so much I made two trips there. The first lady who helped me there wasn't too welcoming or talkative, but it didn't matter because I'm there for the souvenirs not to make small talk. When I returned the next day to continue shopping the second lady that helped me was more pleasant and talkative. She made certain everything I bought that was breakable was packaged properly in bubble wrap, and that the electronic merchandise was in working order. I really appreciated her attentiveness to these minor details, which make a big difference when you're traveling and trying to make certain that your souvenirs make it back home intact to your loved ones. I spent a good amount of money here, and I would recommend anyone who travels to this area to shop at this store as the items sold here are priced moderately, but better than at other locations. I will definitely be returning here next year at my next vacation to purchase more souvenirs. I wish I would've gotten the lady's name that gave me that good customer service so people would know who to look for, but hopefully she'll be there next time so I can do so then. read more

She literally shushed me... when I pointed out that she should not be shushsing the customer she called me rude. After she wished a customer. My husband and I were waiting for our pizza at Pizza Hut at the Dolphin Plaza were I noticed the shop so I went in and found so many treasures there. I had gone in the shops at Wailea where there was a shop that had almost the same items for a lot more money. I love shopping at this shop and found some cool things to hang back home. read more
