Newish (opened March 2024 IIRC) food truck court in Kahului, with plentiful seating under shade canopies and a great variety of cuisines to choose from. So far there is: Mexican Vietnamese Filipino/plate lunch Taiwanese street food & boba Crepes I've tried the Vietnamese truck (Aloha Pho Maui) and the Taiwanese one (Street Market Boba) and was very happy with the food from both. Will definitely return to check out the other offerings! This spot is mostly patronized by locals and is off to a great start. Abundant free parking across the street (Lono).

I feel like this is one of the up and coming food truck parks. It is very nicely done with the faux grass and the tables and it is nice to have the covered areas. They have a nice variety of foods and drinks in this little area. It is clean well lit and you can tell they take pride in this little food truck parks. I highly recommend stopping by they have a good variety of food for you to try and if you can't find something in the food truck spot or the 6 block radius I don't know what to say. But I am sure many of you will enjoy this newer food truck spot. I have been here 3 or 4 times now and have seen the changes happen. And I will definitely be going back there are a lot of food and drinks to be ordered. It's a dirty job but I will suffer thru it to write more reviews. lol just kidding but I will definitely be eating here soon as bearded BBQ Is one of my favorites spots on the island.

This food truck spot is great! I was pleasantly surprised to find this today. Very clean, and shady and nice island vibes. Great selection of food truck options. We had Bearded BBQ's loaded Mac and cheese and honey corn bread. Excellent!!!

This is really is a tambayan (hangout) place in Maui. Family friendly food truck place with a combination of good food and good music.

On my first trip to Maui, I was excited to try as many local food spots as possible, and Da Soriano…read moreGrindz ended up being one of the highlights of the entire trip. I was immediately intrigued by the calamansi pork -- an item I had never seen it on a menu before. One bite and I was hooked. The pork was tender and flavorful, and the bright, citrusy calamansi added a unique tang that made the dish completely unforgettable. It was so good that I'm still thinking about it after coming home. We also tried the pancit noodles, pork sisig, and mochiko chicken, and every dish was excellent. The pancit was packed with flavor, the sisig was gelatinous (fir those who are into it), and the mochiko chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and impossible to stop eating. For my first visit to Maui and my first time trying Da Soriano Grindz, this food truck set the bar incredibly high. If you're visiting Maui and want amazing Filipino food that's a little different from what you'll find elsewhere, don't skip this spot. The calamansi pork alone is worth the trip.

One of the owners, Sharon, took our order and she made us feel welcomed. The location had ample parking, located in an easily accessible food truck pod which was clean and inviting. Ambiance was low key and fun.

The truck itself is fun, painted with bright tropical colors and scenes, and they seem to be known for their loaded tots and bao buns. I placed my order on the touchscreen outside and then sat down to wait for my food. For lunch on this day I went with the buffalo chicken tots and the Island Piggy bao. The menu described the bao as kalua pork, BBQ sauce, tropical salsa, and pickled red onions. The buffalo chicken tots were described as buttermilk fried chicken, buffalo sauce, jack cheddar cheese, house made pickles, and ranch dressing. It took less than 10 minutes for my food to be ready and I sat down at one of the shaded picnic tables. When I opened everything up it all looked good, but I did notice that the tots were missing the house made pickles. I started with the bao and thought it was pretty good. The kalua pork was super juicy and the bao bun was light and fluffy while still holding together well. The pickled onions added a nice acidity and the tropical salsa brought good flavor. The only thing I did not notice much was the BBQ sauce. After that I dug into the tots. The tots themselves were cooked nicely with a crispy outside and soft inside. The chicken was good as well with a nice batter and the buffalo sauce added flavor while the cheese was gooey. The only thing worth noting is that the chicken was softer than expected and not very crispy. It worked since I did have the texture from the crispy tots, but it stood out. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I would probably not order both a bao and tots again as it was a lot of food, but I would definitely come back for one or the other.
