Still can't use sprinkler system. Now, 6 months later, after never hearing from him, he requests payment for the unfinished job. It took several weeks for his crew to actually show up in the beginning (first red flag), there was a language barrier (second red flag) so I couldn't ask any questions or get any answers or even know when they would finish the project. Zero follow up. I'm amazed by the lack of communication from Jensen. I paid him the full agreed on amount when he reached out 6 months later and chalked up the horrible experience as lesson learned. Never use family!!!! Shame on him. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Enjoy your money Jensen... I don't mind paying twice... That's what was important to you, obviously.

I contacted Jensen Alston, the owner of Rock Solid Landscaping yesterday afternoon about having a…read morefront and backyard cleanup done at my home. I work overnights, and have neglected my yard upkeep for months. After all of the rain that we've had this spring, my yards had gotten completely out of control. I sent Jensen the 5 "before" pictures that are displayed in this review. He gave me an estimate and told me that he would be here the following day. His crew arrived promptly at the appointed time. There were three of them who worked steadily and efficiently for just over an hour. As you can see from the "after pictures, they completely transformed my yards. They did in one hour what would have taken me at least a full day! My recovery time after doing so would have been considerably longer! I would definitely say that the value I received comparative to the service that was performed was not only fair, completely satisfying. I will highly recommend Rock Solid Landscaping to every one of my friends and neighbors.

I had them do electric which another contractor couldn't complete (they said it couldn't be done). Rob's team handled it without difficulty. We worked with Nate and his team for a large remodel in Fountain Hills that started December 2025…read moreand finished February 2026 and we cannot recommend him enough! We are remote in California so we couldn't see the progress but he was very communicative, sending us photos and updates on a regular basis. Very reasonable when it came to items that could be over or under the original estimate. And last but certainly not least, the quality of work and timing was superb. He paid attention to detail while we, as owners, couldn't because of our location and the little things were noticed that a lot of contractors would ignore because it wan't in their "scope of work". If you are remodeling a house for your leisure or updating it for a sale, I cannot recommend Nate enough. We will be using them again for another property in Scottsdale. 10/10!

Our yard was already rather mature and complete but lacked space for our chaises. Steve figured out how to add to our travertine deck while making it appear it always there. He used every inch of space efficiently. The kitchen was even more impressive. We wanted more counter and cabinet space to an already expensive kitchen. He was able to match the cabinets and add more countertop space. We had thought our original builder had done quality work until we saw the quality of this crew. Tile, electrical, plumbing all turned out perfect. He gave us interesting ideas we had not thought of that took the kitchen to the next level. Thank you.

We were referred to Steve Garrett and Sun Country by another contractor who had good things to say about him. After checking out Steve and his company online, we arranged a meeting with him. We were immediately put at ease by his experience, expertise and ideas for our project. The quote was fair and the negotiated payment terms were reasonable, so we engaged him for our project. The first thing that impressed us was the diligence shown by Steve's team in keeping our home as clean as possible during the demolition phase. Steve is a stickler for keeping the job site clean throughout the project, and all of his subcontractors showed the same care. The second thing that impressed us was the quality of the work by ALL the subcontractors, including tile work, drywall, and painting. The subcontractors did careful, quality work and obviously took pride in their trade. They were also polite, punctual, and pleasant. We trusted them in our home. All throughout our project Steve gave us good advice and probably steered us away from making some mistakes along the way. He has a good eye for design and color and what could work within our vision for what we wanted. We really appreciated his input. In the end what matters most is the final result, and we are truly happy with the outcome. The work is high quality and looks amazing. Steve earned our trust, and we will definitely use him again in the future!

Mai Ashley from AIO was professional and friendly and fast at contacting us to set up a quote appointment, and the guy that came over showed up quickly and offered us a reasonable price. We were still comparing quotes for a few weeks but Mai followed up several times to see if we had decided. Once we had decided that they were the most professional and affordable of our options, she was quick to send us a contract and get our concrete removal scheduled. The team of guys even came by that day to double check the area to be sure they'd be ready. They accomplished the work 2 days after we signed the contract and did it all in the morning within 5 hours. They left the place looking clean, and they put up a board while they were working to keep dust and debris out of our pool, which we really appreciated. There was a bit of a communication lapse with the arrival of the dumpster the day before, as my husband and I weren't given an ETA and had no time to pull one of our cars out of the garage before the dumpster was deposited sideways in our driveway, but thankfully we didn't need to go anywhere. Mai contacted us about it as soon as she had been informed that the truck was on its way, but at that point they had already arrived. If it weren't for that, we would've given 5 stars. We're satisfied with their work, timeliness, professionalism, cleanliness and respect for our property, no hidden fees, and friendliness. Definitely recommend!

They are the "Teacher Next Door" program lender. DO NOT be fooled - they are amazingly archaic, oblivious to the current real estate market, and offer very high interest rates! A week later, they reply and said they are sending out written letter of verification of employment. I said WHAT ? We are not at that stage of underwriting so I was confused. So we then get a call from their network "realtor" asking if we wanted to look for a home. I asked realtor "um where do you suggest we look for a home in Los Angeles County for under $400,000 ?". The realtor said nothing - I said, how about a vacant lot in the Mojave desert ? The realtor said she knows something about Southern California realty so tried to apologize.
