We have been going there for years and just yesterday had the "traditional breakfast" craving: and they did not disappoint!! I got the 2 egg breakfast (over medium) with hasbrowns sausage links and an English muffin , and he got the same 2 egg breakfast but sunny side up, with. The inside dining area is kept very clean and their bathrooms as well, which is very important to me because if they can't keep a clean dining area and restrooms then you can only imagine how they keep their kitchen. The Weston Diner is a solid but average breakfast spot. This is the type place if you lived close by, and wanted a cheap and filling breakfast, it's probably your go to spot. That being said, I would not go out of my way to visit. I got the Weston Diner's spin on an eggs benedict which removes the traditional hollandaise and replaces it with american cheese. Unfortunately, this just wasn't very good, the american cheese added an off putting taste, and the english muffins were burned (see pictures). The egg was poached well and was really the only salvageable part of the dish. The hash browns were fine as well. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. We also got the Toasted Bagel -All The Way, which is essentially a deconstructed Lox and Cream Cheese on a bagel. Everything tasted fresh, and the bagel was toasted nicely... but I would have rather just had a Lox and Cream Cheese Bagel. The dish felt like it was also missing capers. The diner was very busy and the staff seemed to keep up with their tables well. The server was very friendly and attentive. The dining area was clean, and had the typical diner feel. They had a large menu and the prices were very reasonable. I would come back if I happened to be in the area, however that's probably unlikely in the future. read more

We went during dinner so it was pretty empty. Service came out fairly quick. This place is a very clean dinner. They do offer $5 mimosas. I believe this place is great for breakfast and lunch, though they do serve breakfast all day. The kids enjoyed breakfast. Be advised the duo pasta has smoked salmon and not regular salmon. Weston Diner has been here for so long that I can't remember the first time I went, but I can and always remember how the service and food is always wonderful everytime that I have come here. When we walked in, waiting for an oil change, the hostess which also turned out to be our waitress, sat us quickly and took our drink orders. For the meal and drink, I had the bagel sandwich and a coffee. The sandwich was on an everything bagel and it came with cheese, egg and sausage. The food was pipping hot and the cheese was melted perfect on a very well done, toasted bagel. My only concern was it was only one sausage sliced in half, they easily could've done two sausages for the bagel sandwich. The hashbrown side was good but a bit greasy and I had to pat off some of it before it was enjoyable to me. Definitely fresh at least! The waitress was very attentive and talked to us when she had downtime, telling us she's been here for so long and have become friends with some of the regulars that come here as well. The style of the restaurant is very minimalistic, which is nice and the location is very easy to find. Walking in I felt comfortable and welcome because of how friendly and nice the place was! I'll definitely be back again for breakfast next time I am in the area. The prices are wonderful as well, with most breakfast dishes being $12 or less, and you get your moneys worth for sure here!!! read more

Today in all the years I've been going there I am sadly disappointed with our breakfast. We ordered pancakes with an order of chocolate chips at an additional cost and they sprinkled like 5 chocolate chips on them. Not added as they have always done. My wife's egg white omelette was fine but mine ! only had half an omelette which was on the bottom. All the fixings were there but no egg on top. I never return food for an exchange. The waitress observed that the so called omelette was not touched. Just looked at it and didn't say a word. I will give the Weston diner one more try and hopefully it was just a bad day for the cook. Been going to this diner for years. It has a large open parking lot with easy access from Griffin Rd and Weston Rd. Its usually very busy but never waited more than five minutes. The waitresses are always friendly but seem overworked when its busy. The food is simple breakfast type. Eggs, bagels and potatoes are always tasty but does not come out quick. Alot of tables seem to be waiting for just a cup of coffee. Anyways, I enjoy just a meet up with friends at this restaurant for a good meal. They asked us to take a seat and the service was extremely fast even though there was one server only and a half full diner of guests at that time. On vacation in Weston Florida we found the Weston Diner. It had good reviews and good menu items. We ordered Meatloaf & Mashed potatoes, garden veggie omelet, chicken fingers and a turkey Cuban sandwich. All were very delicious. There is something on the menu for everyone. The waitress was very friendly and helpful and helping us narrow down our choices. The diner is clean and cozy. They have extra long booths with comfortable benches plenty of room for lots of plates on the table. First visit to Weston Diner and truly not good. Ordered the bagel breakfast sandwich with a side of grits. The bagel was one of those little tasteless bagels you buy in the grocery store such as Lenders. Asked for the egg to be fried medium however, received a burnt fried egg. Honestly, didn't know that was possible. In addition, it was swimming in grease. The grits were flavorless and had a very strange consistency. Perhaps we just ordered the 2 worst things on the menu. Doubt we'll ever know because a second visit is not on our bingo card. I will say the server was very nice and apologetic that we weren't happy. I spoke to the owner about adding some vegan options. Guess what? They did! I had an impossible Patty melt. It was awesome. The kitchen service at Weston Diner is horrible! We visited the establishment on Sunday morning at 11:40am hangry for some breakfast. To our, surprise there was no wait & we were seated right away. Our waiter took our order and brought us coffee and water five minutes later. We asked for some utensils that never came. After waiting for 25 minutes for breakfast we paid for the coffee and opted to bail. You see, we decided to give Western Diner a second chance after our first bad experience last year when we waited 45 minutes for our food! (I rated 2 Stars for each of the horrendous experience). I had a brief, but strong experience for Brunch today. There was adequate parking in front. I was greeted nicely when I walked in and was quickly sat to my seat. The restaurant today was quiet, very quiet. I could hear everyone's conversation around me. Background music was on, but faintly. Could improve on atmosphere. The restaurant was clean - one of my biggest favorites. Thank you. My table and seat were a little uncomfortable, but no big deal. More than enough options on the menu for anyone, quite a large menu. Food is reasonably good. Service is not warm or friendly but it is fast, served hot and practical. Prices are good, coffee is good. Place is filled with a lot of regulars I was impressed to see the wait staff remembers everyone by name and their order. If you come here looking for smiles and warm fuzzies don't come. If you want good food served hot and fast with no frills and good coffee this is a good place. I felt like I was in a NY diner with my grandparents durning the 40's war time. Everyone working here looks unhappy and so miserable. I gave it 4 stars because the food is real good, service was fast, bathrooms and kitchen are clean. Staff just doesn't smile enough. We decided to eat breakfast here since we had to run an errand in the same shopping center. The server was very nice and friendly. However, the food was very bland and dry. I ordered the chicken fajitas omelette and it was so bland. I asked for salsa to flavor it up a bit. My kids ordered pancakes and they were very dry and didn't have a whole lot of taste to them. The omelette took almost 20 minutes which I thought was a little ridiculous since the place wasn't that busy. Luckily, I wasn't in a rush. The server was trying hard and seemed to be on top of most things. At times, she was a little slow in getting the drink refills. Went to get my wife's car serviced @ Rick Case. Decided to walk around the plaza nearby and found this gem hidden next to Office Depot and McDonald's. Have not had a good American Breakfast for a while so I decided to go while waiting for the car. Service was great! Greeted by the door and was escorted to my table. Rebecca my server took good care of me! I ordered coffee, French toast, corned beef hash and framer's omelette. Was not able to take a picture of my food as I was so eager to taste it all when it was brought in my table. Food did not disappoint! Sure I spent a little for breakfast but it's the weekend anyway. Food is always good. Problem is they are constantly forgetting parts of my order on uber eats. Rectifying the problem is impossible for them. They say just come in and pick it up. Well I can't! Third time was not a charm. We'd been there a couple times before and had enjoyed the omelets. So, with high hopes of delicious omelets and friendly service we stopped in today only to be met with disappointment. My wife and I ordered steak fajita omelets with sliced tomatoes on the side and my son ordered the chicken sandwich. Aside from having to wait at a vacant front counter for a few minutes before a hostess showed up, the service was good. The food was not. The three tiny slices of sad slimy tomatoes was the first sign. The omelettes, though having a bit of tough tasteless steak bore no semblance of anything relation to a fajita as there was zero seasoning at all. My son's chicken sandwich did give competition to our bland boring omelets by being just as dry and tasteless as a can be topped no sauce and no cheese, just shredded lettuce and apathy. Went this morning for the first time. We were greeted as soon as we walked in but took a few minutes to be seated. Waitress was Roxanne very nice and friendly. Food was great. Breakfast specials reasonable priced and portions plentiful and delicious. My husband and I had the 2-2-2 special. 2 eggs (his scrambled mine over easy) 2 pancakes or French toast ( husband had pancakes) the French toast was so good not too sweet but sweet enough. 2 sausage or bacon. I got bacon ( husband had sausage) we did this so that we could both taste from each other. The sausage was really good. I am funny with sausage sometimes it's good and sometimes not. Coffee tasted fresh and was refilled without asking. Will be returning in the future maybe for a lunch or dinner. read more
