    Fried Spicy Pickles

Charming cafe in downtown Weston serving traditional fare. Great service and ample seating. Menu does switch from breakfast to lunch at 11am, so breakfast is not served all day. We shared the Spicy Pickle Fries and they were fantastic. I don't typically enjoy fried spears, but these were skinny, crispy, and the little bit of spice made them extra delicious!

Quaint hometown cafe on Main Street Westin. It's a little step back in time with breakfast dishes that are hearty and plentiful. I had the 1/2 breakfast skillet - which was way more than I could eat!!! Oh and the berry wheat bread is thick slices and fantastic. No speciality coffees or teas here but the original straight up options. Service was great!!!!

Cesar salad with a side of cottage cheese! Fantastic service with a sense of humor ... loved the waitress! We also had the fried pickle fries which are a MUST ORDER, club sandwich with fries and some unsweet tea. They still use big 'ol plastic cups and aren't shy with the ice. Takes me back... great home cooking!

It has a very different vibe and menu than the other places in town which is a nice switch up but it is outside of the main area of town a bit (still only like a 3-5 minute drive from downtown so not bad at all). They have amazing sandwichs, soups, and charcuterie boards. Honestly, I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu. The outdoor seating area is quite vast with plenty of room to spread out and get some fresh air when it's nice out! All the employees were super nice and willing to give honest suggestions on what to get. I would love to do a wine tasting and try other menu items next time I visit! The employees were friendly. We both ordered the lamb burger, which consists of two smashed lamb patties, homemade pickles, American cheese, caramelized onions, and mayo on a buttery potato bun. For our sides, we ordered the macaroni and cheese. One downside is there aren't very many drink options to choose from. I'll start with the burger. My burger was greasy. The smashed patties tasted burnt and, on the patty's edges, were crispy, black...I don't know what to call them, but they tasted like the leftover bits from the grill. When I tried my husband's burger, his tasted better and, for the first time in our married life, I asked if we could trade. The macaroni and cheese is spiral pasta with white cheddar sauce and sprinkled with shredded Parmesan. It was okay, but definitely needed seasoning. When we got home, we both had upset stomachs, which were enough to say we won't be returning.

Since they do not take reservations, we stopped by early hoping to get on a waitlist. The hostess was super helpful and gave us a realistic recommendation on the best time to return when we would have a fighting chance at getting seated together. Honest AND strategic... we appreciated that! Of course as the number in our party dropped it helped, just saying! Currently only the downstairs dining area is open, but once seated, service moved quickly and the food came out fast. We ordered ravioli appetizers that apparently entered the witness protection program and never made it to the table due to a communication mix-up. Honestly, I am blaming one of our table mates for that one and not the server. Now for the important part... the cheesy breadsticks were AMAZING. Like "everyone suddenly gets quiet at the table" amazing. We shared several pizzas, and while both that I tried were delicious, the Carnivore pizza definitely won my personal pizza championship over the Meet Me in Weston. Bonus points for the crust options available too! Overall, great atmosphere, friendly staff, quick service, and really good pizza. We will absolutely be back... but next time we are putting someone in charge of ravioli accountability. Even better if they would take reservations as very few restaurants in Weston do!

Though we didn't sit in the restaurant proper, the magic of modern technology (a wee QR code) brought the feast straight to our table without missing a beat. We started with the Sausage Sampler, a delightfully hearty offering with the O'Malley Stout Banger and Lil Lucy's hot pepper sausage, served up with a tangy beer mustard and house BBQ sauce. Cut into perfect little circles for sharing--though truth be told, I was tempted to keep them all for myself! At $8.99, it was a steal fit for a thrifty lass. Next up, the Scotch Eggs ($8.99)--two glorious hard-boiled eggs, lovingly wrapped in sausage and fried to golden perfection. If there's a food that makes you believe in miracles, this was it. Absolutely divine! And, of course, what Irish outing would be complete without Fish & Chips? At $14.99, the cod was fried to crisp perfection, and the zesty remoulade gave it a delightful kick. The fries were standard, but let's be honest, we were too busy savoring the rest to mind. With the warm pub atmosphere and proper Irish offerings, it felt like a slice of the Emerald Isle right there in Weston. Sláinte--we'll be back for more the next time we are in the area!

We all ordered food and then sat to wait for the food to be brought out. The sandwiches took a bit to come out and I personally was disappointed. The sandwich was loaded with greens and very little meat. The bread used tasted fairly stale. Chip selection was decent and had free refills on soda. The place does have historical value as it used to be an old jailhouse, and the deco and style made it look nice inside. To me, not worth the price. No desire to come back

It looks like a few tables are open but there are signs on the table that asks patrons not to sit there. Other tables had the chairs stacked on top of then. I had the Yardbird panini which came with a choice of chips; I chose the original lays. It was a big sandwich and I like that the wrapped it two separate pieces, especially since I was only able to eat one half. I do feel like the panini could have been grilled a bit longer since the bread was not brown all the way through and it was a little soggy. Also, it was quite noticeable that they used precooked bacon, which just isn't the same. Overall, for $6.75, the meal was not terrible.
