We made a quick stop at The Whiskey Snug, but with a few whiskey aficionados in our group, it quickly turned into a lively tasting session. We happily listened as they swapped notes with the staff, debating the merits of different pours like true Irish poets--only with whiskey instead of words. As for us? Well, we played it safe and went with an Irish Coffee--because, let's be honest, we're not quite ready for the strong stuff. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Smooth, slightly sweet, and with just the right amount of warmth, it was the perfect cozy treat. Curiosity led us up a steep spiral staircase, where we found a charming little sitting area, just as they were setting up for live music. It was the perfect spot to try a small sipper of Five Farms Irish Cream, a farm-to-table delight straight from Cork, Ireland. One sip, and we were hooked--rich, creamy, and downright dreamy. It was so good, I had to take a bottle home, already dreaming of the iced coffee I'll be making with it! The Whiskey Snug is a gem--warm, welcoming, and full of good vibes. Next time, we just might be brave enough to try a proper whiskey (or at least pretend we are). Cheers! read more

I have tasted one of the best whiskeys ever here, only to find out that it isn't in stock anymore, and the company is now defunct! All of the staff are super friendly and will guide you through the journey by asking you a myriad of questions to obtain your flavour profile. Then they will let you taste several to get the right bottle into your hands. Remember, there is no such thing as the BEST whiskey. If there were, they wouldn't make that many different kinds! This is one of my favorite places to visit when I am in Weston!! I was there for a charity ".08 Mile Run" They have 1,100 Whiskeys for sale, most of them you can sample as well. It there is a bottle of Whiskey that you have been thinking about trying this is a great place to try!! We have all bought a bottle before that we didn't like, here you can try it before you buy it!! Don't forget to go upstairs and check out the lounge as well that is above the main store. Good place to sit and chat with friends, on special dates they have live music up there as well. read more

They have over 700 whiskeys here. Not all with an e. LOL. The largest category is scotch. They have an upstairs area via the spiral staircase and they have live bands on many weekends. They offer members perks. Ethan is the best. He will show you around and make great suggestions. You have got to stop in! read more

A great place for people that like whiskey, but leave the people in your group that aren't whiskey people. The staff is very rude to people that aren't whiskey people. Just make the drinks without your rude douchey comments. You're not better than anyone. They should name this place whiskey snob instead of whiskey snub. Wow. We heard there was a back alley scotch shop but had no other details. Glad we walked around and looked for it. From the moment you enter, you know you're somewhere special. We found a table, saw the staircase, and knew we had to check out what was upstairs. What. A. Find. The decor complements a unique experience while still feeling more comfortable than stuffy. We relied heavily on the expertise of Stephen when ordering some tasting flights and I'm glad we did. He took time explaining not only the products but stories behind them which is what made the experience most memorable of all. We are thankful to have benefited from his 45 year journey with Scotch and his travels to visit the distillers behind the products. His passion and love translate to great enthusiasm and care for patrons of the establishment. Truly he's a good steward of the customer experience and takes care to recommend products that fit your tastes. I'd attend any tasting he led, wine, coffee, tea, chocolate, you name it. If you're looking to learn about and explore scotch or whiskey, I can think of no better place. We will be returning. read more

I was told about this place a year ago...and I'm finally glad I came. If you like whiskey, scotch, bourbon, gin and the finer things in life then this is the place to go.
