    Checkerboard in the coffee shop

Stopped by this cute little coffee shop in quaint little downtown Weston to pass some time. Ordered an iced cafe mocha sub almond milk and sat at the window to read. Place stayed pretty busy and the window seat had a lovely view of the busy little downtown. Coffee was good, little pricey. Shop offered some merchandise and little pastries. Definitely a nice place to grab a coffee and check out the historic little downtown.

Pros: The customer service was great. I attended the AppleFest here and the coffee shop was crowded - everyone needed an afternoon pick-me-up it seemed. The baristas kept pace and the workers served with a smile. The place had cute little decor and the fact that they had a small lit tree up made me happy :) Cons: I ordered a chai latte with a shot of espresso. It came out to be a little over 6 dollars. Kinda on the pricey side but I'm all about supporting local business. Taste wise: I'd skip it. I was disappointed as it kinda had a sort of bland taste, no real spices. I barely tasted the espresso shot, which I didn't mind so much but generally with a dirty chai, you have to taste one or the other... but sadly, I didn't. Maybe I'll be back again to try their coffee if I'm ever up north again. But it just kinda left me disappointed and not all that satisfied.

What a great little spot to grab coffee!! We were in town for a wedding and stopped in to caffeinate before heading home. The vibe in here is awesome! It's cozy and clean, the coffee was a bit lighter than I prefer but still a good flavor, and the staff was incredibly friendly. You know a place is good if they call a good majority of their customers by name when they see them walk in. I wish we lived closer so this could be my morning go to!

Coffee shop with small lunch options like chicken tortilla soup. I was recommended the S'more coffee and it was actually very good. I could taste every flavor in it without overwhelming sweetness. Local art is featured in here along with woodwork, like a walnut bench.

This is a cute coffee shop! I love all of the local art that's up front too. I ordered the weston raspberry mocha, which was rich in flavor and so good! The girl working was so sweet! They had a couch and some chairs that we sat around in for a little bit before going out to shop around. They are a roasterie so you can buy a bag of their coffee beans to take home which is awesome! I will definitely be back to pick some up! Alresdy regretting not getting some before heading back home.

A really cool and tasty local coffee shop. Normally I go to Weston for the unique shops but this will now be added on my list to get a cup of coffee and maybe a homemade pastry before I leave town.

$4.00 for an ice tea? Come on ... not even Starbucks or the airport coffee shops charge that much. Local resident.

I stop in there several times a week, staff is very friendly and it's a cozy spot. I usually get a pastry and an iced coffee, no complaints!

Plenty on inside and outside seating. The retail area needed restock, as many of the coffees we out (bare shelves). I was really surprised to see it in such disarray. It was 1 in the afternoon! The coffees are the best around. I got the Brookside Bob that was chocolate, mint and expresso. Normally when I've been here the staff is energetic and outstanding. Unfortunately today that was not the case. Maybe it was after Christmas fatigue but I was glad I was not bringing company as The cashier was extremely unfriendly. She was acting like waiting on was a bother. I deducted 1 star for that as it really impacted our experience.

In the 4 years I have lived here they have switched owners once so I am speaking for the most recent and active owners. First of all bravo. Second of all the chicken bacon panini is the best sandwich I've ever had and have ordered this at least 37 times. Lastly, make no mistake I WANT to gate keep this place but I realized it really doesn't matter how busy this place gets it's still mine at the end of the day because I'm a local so all you buttholes have to drive but it's mine! Ha ha!! (Evil laugh) Okay okay for serious Easy to find because it's a train cart cafe yes you heard right a train cart cafe! It's adorable and so aesthetically pleasing to chill at. Parking easy peasy. Pets welcome. Steps and a ramp to get with multiple outdoor seating areas and multiple indoor seating areas. Definitely wheelchair friendly Phenomenal service always so friendly and soooo dang cute!!! Pricing is fair for what I trust is quality drinks and food. My ONLY negative is the rewards system. So I spend about 100$ a week at Rochester for myself and my family. If you buy a single drink you gain a reward (a star) and if you buy three drinks two pastries and two chicken bakes about 50$.... Which is usually what I buy I get one reward. So. I'm a local I spend a lot there I'd like to feel more appreciated lol point blank is i went before there was a rewards system in place. Does it kind of sting a little in this economy? Yea but man I really do love Rochester my whole family does. I guess you can just place a few orders if it bugs you too but I'm gonna keep going no matter what. Right now they have a drink called "Bugjuice" it's superb. Matcha lemonade mix it's heavenly and is my go to drink right now. Try it! And !!! If you make it in early in the weekends try their fritters!

It has a very different vibe and menu than the other places in town which is a nice switch up but it is outside of the main area of town a bit (still only like a 3-5 minute drive from downtown so not bad at all). It looks clean but isn't the same home-y spot we all loved. The kicker, though, is they changed the menu boards which now don't tell you what things are and they've like everyone else increased prices of normal items, including items that used to be included. Sandwiches used to come with chips, and now sandwiches are more and the small single size of chips are $4! Apparently they didn't read PepsiCo just missed a billion dollars in sales because they keep raising prices on Doritos. I can see add-ons for high quality products like soup, specialty fries, etc. I also know GDFC has expanded into KC, and I've been and spent healthy money at that luxury spot several times. But c'mon, this is just ludicrous charges at this point. When I realized the chip change, I asked for a refund of those alone, and the new sales terminal system took forever for multiple people to figure out. The manager on duty had to ultimately refund the whole thing, and reorder my entire order, meaning it's now cost all of us money in time. The staff is completely different - there's a chef in the back wearing a white coat like it's fine dining... the rest of the staff is friendly enough, but also not the same level of home we all got used to for many years. My sandwich finally came out, and it looks nothing like what we used to get - the Cuban is on a hoagie style roll. Not even that good anymore. No more winery inside, and limited drink options overall. And no more fresh ice cream, just overpriced "soft serve." I know we're in times that are a'changin... but some of it has gone too far. Hopefully they keep the same level of loyal business I imagine they had before. My loyalty has definitely shifted instantly to once in a while, if that.
