Brought my truck in for repairs, seemed pretty straight forward a code-message was on the dash. Four visits later, they put a thermostat in that was the wrong application for my vehicle. The temp gauge was reading 3/4 hot with a simple trip up the road on a cold rainy day, and they tried to tell me this was the 'new normal'....That everything was ok unless it got into the red. Really, it's ok for my entire truck to run hot because instead of doing what was right and finding the right thermostat for my truck, they did what was easiest? I had to buy another thermostat and have it installed. I am out hundreds of dollars for my rental insurance and a deductible that I should have never paid. My truck has less than 72K miles on it, and I planned on taking a trip the first week of July, instead I left it home and had a thermostat installed. At one point, they had my truck for 4 days, and just put dielectric grease on the sensor. My service writer was nice and seemed embarrassed by the situation. He is the only reason I went back 4 times, as he really tried to get this taken care of for me. I will never go back here, and I plan on requesting my money back via the Better Business Bureau. Despite the concern they claim below, nobody from this business has contacted me. *This company responded and made promise to reimburse for my expenses related to the situation described above, however as of today...no reimbursement has been made. ** UPDATE, This company reimbursed me for my expenses as described above...rental, deductible, new thermostat and fuel. read more

Biggest liars ever!! Told me they had a specific vehicle to get me down there. DID'T! haggled for two days and when they found out I was talking to another dealer, they badmouthed them. chickens...! Then when they had competition, suddenly the rig I was dealing on was suddenly sold an hour ago, been there over an hour (place was a morgue), and tried to switch vehicles. Rig still on website three days later. BATE AND SWITCH! NOTICE THIER WEBSITE ISN'T SAME AS REST OF GMC DEALERS!!!! Had to take a shower after I left. Salesman and sales manager made my skin crawl. Purchased a truck from this dealership in December 2017. It would take me approximately three pages to write the details of this transaction which I'm working on now and will post very soon. The reason it took me so long To post how Dissatisfied I was with this purchase, is because I was promised that the next time I purchased a truck, they would make it up to me.......And the reason they couldn't make it up to me on that particular sale in 2017 of December was because their numbers were extremely tight on the current purchase and I believed them. As I went to buy a new truck this last week, I've been quoted less from every other dealership in the Portland Metro area and have spoke with Weston Gmc management about this and was told that the price I was quoted was the best they can do. Started to type out exactly what had happened in dec. 2017 and realized it's gonna take me about 2 1/2 hours because I don't want to miss any details and I don't want this to happen to anybody else because I truly think that I was taking advantage of And that they did some illegal Activities that I'm looking into.....I've purchased 12 brand new Duramax trucks and can honestly say that this transaction was the worst I have ever experienced in my life and On top i've that I've purchased a dozen or so miscellaneous vehicles from other dealerships mostly from Sandy Suburban gas Chevrolet and this one was by far the worst transaction of my life... stay tune for the 2 1/2 page documentary....... A shortSummary would be that I purchased a new truck and waited two hours to see the financials manager to sign my paperwork. I had a check to pay the vehicle off and only had to sign a few documents.... well after two hours of waiting my sales manager told me to just go home with the new truck and they would stop by my house to sign the paperwork. Left the check with the sales man and told them not to cash it until I had my documentation stating what I was promised. He said no problem Dennis and I left.... The salesman no showed that evening and the following day no showed, so I went to the dealership with concern and on my way to the dealership realized that the truck that I was driving was damaged in an accident on their lot. That was one question I specifically asked about the vehicle and was told no that the truck was never damaged. And specifically asked to have that put in writing and everyone of you that's reading this shit always ask to have that put in writing on any brand new vehicle you purchased because you would be amazed what happens behind the curtains.....and by time I got to the dealership they had cash the check and not one piece of paper signed. Long story short I called my salesman before I got to the dealership and told him what I had found out by running the vin number and he denied it.....finally admitted that the truck was damaged and told me that I was overreacting and what was the big deal. I asked for my money back and was told that it would take three weeks to reimburse me my money, they knew I needed the truck for a landscape job that I just picked up and cannot wait that long. And feel like the owner could've showed up that day and cut me a check. Will just two days ago I was quoted 67,000 for a truck that I can get from Beaverton for 64,000, from Idaho for 63,000, from Gladstone for 64,500. After telling my salesman at Weston about how I was quoted lower prices that other dealerships, I was told what do you want us to lose money and I looked at him and said yes. After what happened to me last year and how I was treated yes I expected them to lose money because I lost money and I took their word about taking care of me on my future purchase. But the worst part is at 67,000 there is no way they could be losing money, they tried to convince me that these other dealerships were lying to me and that there was no Way that I would get that price on the truck. I'm really glad we waited for the 2013 Buick Enclave. I love it! It has all the latest and greatest techno gadgets and powerful and comfortable drive. AC at Weston Buick was extremely knowledgeable about the changes from the 2012 to the 2013 year and was able to point these changes out during my test drive. Weston GMC....I think I shall call them LIFE SAVERS instead! ....So on my adventure from California to check out the great state of Oregon, my trusted best friend (2003 GMC Envoy XL 4WD) gave me quite a little light show on my control panel! The Check engine soon light and reduced engine power light appeared from no where as I was on an uphill incline on a dark tree lined road like a crazy scene you would see on the X- files! After making sure I wasn't in some bizarre backwoods alien abduction scenario, I realized I needed to get thee to the nearest dealership and STAT! so, I did what any self respecting lady of this milennia would do..."Siri, find a gmc dealership near me"! As luck would have it, or possibly fate because I don't believe in coincidence, Weston GMC in Greshom was 9 miles away and had an operator available yesterday (on a Sunday) that took my call of distress and made an appointment for service dept bright and early this morning! It couldn't have been easier, they even had a secured after hour drop box for keys. The Service Dept. was closed so, I simply left my Envoy on the lot and they were able to get to it ASAP, first thing this morning! By 11 am the service department had the diagnostic completed and gave me an estimate. I approved and the tech started fixing it immediately. My truck was done at 1pm today and Brian in service was so friendly and helpful....he sent a shuttle to pick me up from the hotel! Upon entering the service department, I was greeted warmly and guided back to the cashier so I could pay my bill. I was SHOCKED!! The repair actually came in 200 bucks CHEAPER than the estimate!!!! WHAT?!?! Yeah, I said it! Cheaper!! That NEVER happens at a garage! Oh happy day!! My truck is fixed, I am thrilled at the price, and I totally appreciate the courtesy of everyone in the service dept.... From Brian in service, to the gals in the cashier office, to the courteous and friendly driver that picked me up in the shuttle van!!! Wow,what can a customer say that's good about the service and communication from the Weston Buick service department, nothing!! Paying for some parts up front that had to be ordered no problem. Parts came in i made a 8am appointment to have installed and was quoted to be ready by the end of the day. 4:30 that day i called not ready, but will be ready following day, called at 4:30 the next day not ready. Asked Meta what the holdup was, her answer oh we are just slammed. Someone needs a class in communication and customer service. GM please contact your east side Buick service center at Weston and give them a swift kick you know where to improve or bring back the excellent service that was performed by your smaller dealers like Wallace Buick. Where has the excellence that GM had prior to the downsizing of the numbers of qualified dealers you had in the early 2000's. read more

We came to Weston to decide whether we should buy an Arcadia or wait for the 2018 Traverse to come in. Dave Pearson came and greeted us out in the lot. We asked to test drive the Arcadia, we did and loved it. Dave was very knowledgeable about the Arcadia and answered all our questions. Showed us a lot of the features on the car. He let us know up front about the two different styles on the lot and the differences, specifically the rebate on a particular body style. He got us very close to what we wanted on our trade in. Dave was professional and easy to work with! Tim did a great job explaining the financial side of things and made the paperwork quick and easy! We love our new Arcadia! I have to say that I would highly recommend going to Weston's for a vehicle purchase. My local credit union made a huge mistake during the loan process leaving me with no options but to finance way more than i wanted. Weston's was understanding and offered me a much better trade in value than the original deal in an effort to help me and allow me to buy the truck i wanted. They were also able to get me a much better interest rate than i had expected through a different credit union. All in all they went way out of their way to make the purchase of my new truck as positive as possible and when i want to trade in again I will start with Weston's!!! read more

I own a 40th Anniversary Pontiac Grand Prix, which I bought off the showroom floor at Weston in 2002. If there's a problem (191,000 miles and going strong) during a service visit, Brian tells me what I need today, why it matters, what it will cost, and what I can defer to a later date. If the service will take a few hours, and I need a ride home, Nancy makes the trip enjoyable. She always has a smile. Imagine the best shuttle van, taxi or Uber ride you've ever had. That's Nancy's profession. Although I've had a few problems with other personnel in the decades that I've purchased cars from Weston, I keep coming back because of Brian and Nancy. Ask for them. I did not buy a car from these guys recently but only because they did not happen to have what fit my picky needs. It was not for their lack of trying either. HOWEVER I wish I could have found my car there because hands down, these folks gave the best sales service I have ever experienced. I hate buying a car for the usual reasons: high pressure sales, being forced into something that is not a true fit etc. Feeling harassed. My sales person called to just check back. The company called and asked if I would answer survey questions that would help them give the best service and they seemed to take the advice seriously. Their questions were very "customer centered." I went to many dealerships for my recent purchase but no one beat these guys for personality and genuine effort. We did however buy our used small (garden truck) from them several years back. It still runs like a charm...so they are honest too! read more

If you don't like reading long-winded posts :) here's the bottom line... Among SEVERAL other problems, they CHANGED THE AMOUNT OF THE LOAN WHEN THEY WROTE THE CONTRACT! We had agreed on a price and down payment then when they wrote up the contract they rushed me through signing so I didn't notice the HUGE difference in price. Then when we noticed it later, they assured us the amount was correct but the loan was written differently. After the 3 day return period we realized our findings were correct, and they had swindled us for almost $4000! Now we're stuck with it and they wont return our phone calls. DON'T GO HERE!! My husband is home on leave from Afghanistan and we have two children under 3 so we went looking for a bigger vehicle. We found the perfect Yukon XL Denali but it was almost dinner time for our children so we wanted to come back in the morning. The salesmen pushed us and kept telling us "just a few more minutes" several hours later my children were hungry and screaming so my husband negotiated the price, interest rate, down payment etc. and took the kids home so I could quickly do the paperwork and take home our new SUV. They wanted to sell me a warranty and I said it was up to my husband so they talked on the phone. My husband said no, but he made it sound like my husband wasn't sure so he put it on there saying we could take it off if we wanted. It took 4 hours for everything to get worked out then he went through the paperwork so fast that I didn't read over every part of the contract. It was 9pm by the time I got home and my husband signed the papers - we were both exhausted. The next morning we realized that stuff was missing, like a second key and key fob which they made us pay almost $200 for, the remote and headphones for the DVD player leaving us unable to use it. After complaining they refunded our money and replaced the remote and headphones. The next day my husband was looking over the paperwork and noticed the loan amount was wrong and called them. They assured him that the loan was right, and that it was just written differently so they could get us the loan through the bank. If we had known that was false we would've returned the car and cancelled our check. A couple days later I was looking for the information so I could set up an account and look at how to make our monthly payments and went over every line of the contract. My husband's original finding was correct. After he'd left they put a different price on the paperwork then rushed me through signing it. All in all our loan is now about $4000 more than it was supposed to be and because it is past the 3 days to return the car we're stuck. We've called them trying to get answers and get them to fix the paperwork but they don't call us back. During that 3 day period they answered all our calls but as soon as it went past, it all changed. I am shocked that they would do that, I know car salesmen can be ruthless but this is a whole new level. Now my husband is leaving to go back to Afghanistan and we're still stuck with this loan. read more

I brought my 2011 Buick Regal in for an oil change and a warranty repair of the level that adjusts the steering wheel. I got a call early in the day and Brian let me know that there was more wrong with my steering column than just a difficult lever and the team felt my car was not safe to drive. 10 months after repair shop diagnosed & fixed problem (fuse box/module), the same symptoms are back. They WILL NOT honor the 1-year warranty...say the problem is something else????? On February 6, 2017, my sis and I went to Weston Buick/Kia on Stark in Gresham, I wanted my sis to get a nice mostly new van that she wanted, we went inside and was greeted by the manager and was very nice, told us to have a seat and he would set us up with a sales guy. He gave us one of the best, and best is what he was! Sis told him what she wanted, he said he knew what she wanted, he (Dave Pearson), went and brought back exactly what she wanted. A KIA Sedona van, with every thing on it, 2015, only has 32k miles. A perfect fit for my sis. Sis was afraid she would not get approved and it was only a fantasy, that fantasy became reality in short a time. DAVE PEARSON was awesome!!!!!
