Not impressed by the Weston GMC Service Department. I have now purchased two GMC Denali vehicles from Weston. The most recent being my 2016 3500 Sierra Denali. Took it in for its first oil change with a 8:30am in the morning appointment. Showed up 10 minutes early, sat around for 2 1/2 hours waiting for it. 2 1/2 hours for a oil change is just ridiculous. When I questioned the service adviser about it, she just gave me a bunch of excuses. With a standing appointment you should be able to get in and out in 30 minutes. I also filled out the online survey i received from GM on this, service adviser had the gull to then call me and leave a voicemail message with more excuses and an offer of a free detail. Why in the world would I want to come back and wait again? How about instead of providing excuses you admit you screwed up, tell me what the dealership is going to change so it does not occur again. Not trying to buy my goodwill. Reading many of the the reviews here, the sales side of Weston seems to have their act together. The Service side is in need of some serious help. Anyone that knows anything about business, knows that the best service should come after the sale. Get it together Weston or you won't be around much longer. read more

I bought a 2011 GMC Denali with only 18,500 miles on it. I only had to talk to ONE salesman, Brad Roe. Absolutely no pressure, friendly and an expert GMC salesman. Vehicle was immaculate. They obviously cared about presentation. Even though they didn't budge much on asking price - I got a fair trade in value (it has to come from somewhere- off the "top" or off your trade-in). Justin Hamsley(finance) was low pressure, knowledgeable & experienced. I paid a little more than I planned- but I don't regret it because of the condition of the vehicle & the easy experience with Brad & Justin. 4/6/16, second times the charm with this place right? Wrong. In need of a rear differential gasket for my truck so I can do a fluid change, I called Weston GMC. I spoke to Jerry, Jerry you must be the most rude person I've ever dealt with at any Dealership. I've worked at multiple Dealers for 10+ years and by far guy you take the cookie. I called asking for a diff gasket for my pickup, I gave the usual truck info but then was asked for the last 8 of my vin number. This threw me off because well no one ever needs your vin. I told him I didn't have it and he told me there's nothing he can do for me since I can't give him the vin. I asked if this vin request is a Weston or GM requirement, he told me Wesson. Well then came some round and round questions why he couldn't help me or give me a price. So, Weston GMC, if you don't trust your parts people to order the correct parts why are they there? Heck I called Napa down the street, gave him all the exact info I gave Jerry and you know what? He was able to help me! Wow, without a vin number??? Noooo we can't do that! Common folks, please teach your dealer employees how to retrieve P&A without a vin. If anyone wants advise, make the drive goto Royal Moore GMC in Hillsboro, I'm really bummed out that their so far but you know I'd rather give my money to someone/Dealership who won't fight me over the phone and deal with their inexperienced service staff. read more

I was in the market for a large SUV and found a GMC Yukon XL that I liked it was posted onkine for 68k and when I went to go do financing they had bumped up the vehicle to 70k, the reasoning behind it was that the model and year I was looking at was a rare car, yes a 2015 GMC Yukon XL is rare because there isnt many on the road, but in 6 months there will be a hundred, but anyways, when I noticed the price hike I mentioned that online it said 68k. The bottom like was the vehicle had to be sold for 70k because of the rarity and dealer mark up. We didnt buy it and when we were pushing to leave the salesmen offered for us to give him a offer between 68k and 70k, my family chuckled and left. Over the next two weeks I received phone calls from 3 different sales people asking to come back and work out figures and that I would get free oil changes and a ride to their dealership since I lived in Hillsboro. I gave two stars because of the price increase and hilarious offer opportunity. I would have given one star but the other sales people really wanted to work with me but I couldnt get over that first impression. I took my Chev pickup in with an overheating problem. I had the same problem last summer and spent a lot of money for them to flush out the cooling system. This time they couldn't figure out the problem and didn't even bother to call me with the news - I had to call them and they had to go track down what happened. At least they knocked 10% off of the bill because they didn't do anything. Then I took my pickup to All About Automotive, and they figured out the problem right away and I got it fixed. I have been buying my cars here the last few times from sales @ Kia. Ive always had great service from my sales person. However I am starting to re think buying from there at all if I have to deal with GMC service at all. Service department is absolutely horrible. I have had my car in here 2x's and had nothing but problems. 1st time they forgot to re bolt something under my car and it dragged and got destroyed before I realized it. I called to inform them and they did order a new part. However there was no communication when it arrived at all. So I waited for months on it. I called and spoke with the service manager and he told me the guy that was handling it was no longer with the company. That was a lie. I walked in to get the part replaced and the guy was standing right there. Took my car in again in August since there was no other dealership that could get my car in right away. They had my car for over 3 months with absolutely 0 communication with updates. Yes I had a loaner but still would have liked to know what was going on with my car. I called many times and left messages and got 0 response from the advisor I was working with. Finally got ahold of a service manager there and I was told that it had been ready for over a week and that they assumed I had already gotten it and that they had to go find my car. I asked how I was supposed to be aware it was ready when no one called me. They seriously have 0 communication with customers and act like they dont care. Avoid this shop if possible. read more

In April we had an unexpected issue with our GMC Yukon and needed to visit the dealership that day for resolution. We called the main number -- and Josie was beyond fantastic in attempting to transfer us -- it took three tries, but she persevered and was able to successfully transfer us to the Service Dept. Hooray Josie for way fabulous telephone service! There, we met with Shalina -- and she was even more amazing! The Service Dept. was able to fix our issue, with a short wait time and at acceptable cost. They also helped us diagnose and discuss another concern, and we'll be returning to Weston Buick GMC for that issue to be fixed -- because they were so honest and up-front about what was needed, and the costs were quite reasonable. My wife bought her 2015 GMC Terrain with no problems. Everyone was nice & helpful. She now has a different vehicle but I've been bringing the 2002 gmc truck since then to get oil changes & getting several other truck parts fixed. The oil prices are low compared to other auto shops. I am no vehicle guru but when I read the receipts most of the the pay goes towards labor but that's fine with me because these guys are qualified. Ever since we bought the Terrain we have never gotten an oil change anywhere else unless it was an emergency. We usually like to make appointments because they are ALWAYS busy & can see why. In the past I had purchased four different vehicles from another large chain of Portland area dealerships. I had been somewhat satisfied with the first three purchases but was unhappy with the fourth purchase. I spoke to friends and researched the vehicle I wanted. Weston GMC was the only dealership that I kept hearing good things about. Literally everybody I know that has had dealings with the dealership said great things. I talked with friends who purchased their vehicles from Weston and raved on and on about how happy they were with their vehicles and the great buying experience and service they received. I made the decision that my next vehicle would be purchased through Weston. I came in and spoke with Brad Roe and told shared with him some of my concerns in regards to credit issues I had with regard to some identity theft. Brad worked with your Finance Manager, Mookie and Mookie got my interest rate down from 24.9% on my current vehicle to 4% on my new vehicle (over a 20% reduction). I can’t even express how happy I am with my GMC Acadia Denali, Weston GMC, Brad and Mookie. I will be a customer for life and am happy as can be. I came into GMC just to look. I had a long list of things that I wanted and needed in a car and my sales lady her name was Vivan and she was super helpful! I showed her my list and we went from there! She let me test drive a lot of cars with no problem! I told her I wasn't buying anything that day but I was just there to look! I actually ran out of time and wanted to come back the next day to test drive more cars! She was totally cool with it! I test drive more cars that day and finally had found the one! But I still wasn't ready to buy it yet! So I told her that this is the one and I just needed a little more time. She was totally nice about it and wasn't trying to pressure me into buying it that day! Which I really liked! Then about a month later I was finally ready! So I called her cell phone to make sure she was in that day. But she was off but I told her that I wanted to sign some papers and so she totally was ok with coming in and getting things done! So finally at the end of it all I finally got my new GMC Terrain Denali! Which is by far the best car I've ever owned in my life! I'm so happy that I got it through her! She's the best! I really hate to give this sort of review, the folks seem nice. However, deep down I don't think they really care about the customer. Or maybe just care for those who aren't going for a repurchase of their vehicle. This morning I missed 3 hrs of work to turn in my 2018 Enclave due to many problems; e.g. sulfur smell, randomly appears daily now, chugs like the engine is deciding if it should run or not, just happened as of yesterday, the 4th. Finally with the intervention of the BBB and the Lemon Law, was able to get a confirmation to buyback the vehicle. Off I went to Weston Buicks office happy as a lark because after more the 2.5 months, the deal was solidified an appt made and we were ready to go. Or were we? When I arrived, came to discover the check was not in the mail...Nope, and the gal who the service director contacted didn't have a clue, said "it was supposed to be there." Now they are looking for answers such as: where's the check, who has it, what could possibly have happened? Meanwhile, the 3 hrs of work I missed doesn't count. The time I have spent driving the vehicle which is in disrepair doesn't count, and could be hazardous. And at the end of the day, no results. Now Weston will have to call the main office again on Monday. I had a new vehicle all picked out and waiting for my purchase, was there any concern for my situation about this from them? NO. If I could I would rate them minus 5 stars. We will NEVER use Weston GMC or any other GMC service again! GMC does NOT back their individual dealerships when they have done a customer wrong. We had our Yukon Denali in to Weston working with Gary Kaufman SIX TIMES to get our AC to work. They just started quessing at different things and replacing them one component at a time and sending us home. They replaced the compressor, the condenser, and the accumulator at among other things. Each was replaced at a different visit. It would work for a day or two then just blow warm air. They knew we were moving to TEXAS and needed AC to work. The last time they found a part they had installed was defective and broke several things in the AC. They did replace that but did NOT flush the system - and sent us on our way to Texas. This was after spending a total of $5600!!!! Half way to Texas AC stopped working. The back half of the system never did work. We then brought it in to Richard Karr GMC in Waco. Lenard Betts checked it out and told us that our paperwork from Weston showed they did not flush the system after the part broke so there are a lot of pieces floating around the AC system clogging it up. They now want another $1200 to "FIX" the problem that WESTON didn't fix. I have been in contact with GMC corporate trying to have just this last $1200 fix done for us since it was caused by Weston not doing their job. GMC corporate refuses to back up GMC dealers. I will be reviewing GMC anywhere I can to warn people about this company! There is no excuse for them not to get this AC fixed after us spending six months and $5600 to get it to work correctly! read more

I have to say this is the most I've ever been pleased with a dealership. The TCM on my truck went bad over the weekend, I bought a new one and replaced it myself. However it requires a dealership to reprogram the module. I called them Monday morning and asked if I could get in and out in one day. They said they would probably need it until Tuesday. I had no choice but to leave the truck with them, however they were nice enough to get me into a rental car for a discounted rate. To my surprise I received a call the same day, to inform me that my truck was ready to be picked up. Their prompt service and friendly staff, got me back on the road in hours saving me money on the rental. Side note: while I was searching for my truck in the parking lot, my service manager(who was on her way home) stopped me and lead me directly to my truck. Personally I don't use dealerships for service on my vehicles, but I'm beginning to reconsider. Thank you Weston, you made my life a lot easier. read more

I honestly wouldn't give them 1 star. I bought a very expensive Buick Enclave from these guys. Was used with very low miles. It started leaking immediately. I bought the extended warranty. They said that would be considered trim and not covered, I then said I wanted to return my extended warranty package. Then the manager said he would take care of it. He told us they were going to take care of the whole thing. Replace the carpet etc. We got the car back and the heat has been turned up to 90* throughout the car, all of the gas was gone out of it, same old carpet, now shrunk and doesn't fit right, headliner was put back in crooked , seat belts weren't put back together and even the invoice stated that there were no new replacement parts of any kind. Tried to contact the manager and he doesn't reply. They left my oil cap off too. So basically they are real friendly to take your money but do not take care of their customers after wards. Conversed via email with salesman and gave FULL details on trade, what we wanted, what we were willing to pay, down payment and where we wanted our payments. Salesman emailed back he had two vehicles that fit everything we wanted and within the parameters. Asked us to bring on our trade and said he was sure we could make it happen. Said give him 15-20 min and we'd get a yes/no situation....we arrived at our planned time and fast forward an HOUR AND A HALF and they pulled typical car salesman BS! Not to mention one of the vehicles they tried to sell us had a seat replaced that didn't match so it had been painted and the paint was peeling, it smelled like a dog, the door was chewed by a dog, the seat belt was chewed and wouldn't function. It also had a door that didn't open until about the 8th attempt - unknown why. It had only been partly cleaned with some funk stuck in the carpet when you flipped the seat up. These were 2015 & 2016 Denali's. Beyond disappointed with wasted time after they said it would happen. read more

If you need to have your GMC truck serviced this is where you need to go. Best experience I have ever had. I was staying in Gresham last week for a convention. My 2001 Chevrolet duramax diesel started making a lot of noise, wonder why only 158k miles lol. I took it in on Friday morning when they opened. Could they look at it? Not only look at it but they had time to fix anything wrong with it. I left it and friend took me to my convention. I called a little later found out what was wrong and okayed the work. Was done by 5 but i was not out until 8. So went in Saturday morning pushing there open time by 15 min. The door was open and Open sign on. The lady walking in the door put down her personal items and logged into computer when i told here I had a meeting to get to. Truck fixed and picked up from people who cared that I had a really busy day and meetings i had to be at. All were so great wish I had thought to take names. Truck running great so 185 mile drive home was done safely. I will never have work done any place else even though i will have to drive over the mountains to have it done. I was needing a new vehicle for work, something economical and gas efficient. Thank you Logan Clark for the best car purchase ever! Logan contacted me about a car that I thought I wanted until she showed me a newer version, with less miles and better price. I made an offer that I was surprised that her sales manager even considered! This dealership is easy to work with. Logan was fantastic and was upfront about being new and learning. If she didn't know the answer she went to someone who did. There was no high pressure at all. She has offered to go far and beyond any expectations. In fact, she even offered to drive to our home an hour away just to deliver the second set of keys and to go over all of the features of our new vehicle. Justin in Finance was also very helpful and incredible. I was equally impressed with him when he offered to contact our credit union to lower our interest rate due to being such loyal customers to them. He did and our credit union lowered the rate even further! On a side note, there had been a miscommunication regarding the warranty.
