Tiffany never disappoints! Love this color and my little design. I like simple black and white, I'm not a girlie girl and she knows me well. She gets it perfect to my personality everytime.

What I asked for

DO NOT RECOMMEND I had asked for the first picture (ivory, coffin nails) and I was given the second picture (each nail a different shape, nothing like the picture). When asked if she could fix it, the manager seemed visibly irritated. Would NOT recommend !!!

As you can see the tip shows the nail line, these are my natural nails, you should never see the nail line in a fresh French manicure.

I went here today, because my normal nail salon is closed on Mondays, and I'm going in my vacation tomorrow. I have natural nails, I usually get gel French manicure and gel pedicure, today I did a solid gel in my toes, because it was 5pm, and I had errands to run. The sat me and started working on me right away. The massage chair was comfortable and the water was warm. The woman who did my pedicure was quiet, but did a great job. I selected color 73 gel and the deluxe Pedicure $49. + tip. French Gel Manicure, I explained to the manicurist that my nails grow fast so the tip need to be thicker & cover the tip line. My nails just needed to be shaped/filed - they were a good length. The manicurist did not asked me one question, just went to work. When she applied the white tip, I asked her to make it lower, thicker, explaining my nails grow fast and I only do gel manicures every 2-3 weeks. She cut me off, saying ok, ok. So I thought maybe the first pass is thin, but the second coat will be correct. It wasn't what I wanted she did exactly what she wanted, then refused to fix it. Since she didn't speak English, she asked another woman to translate. She said, oh if you wanted the too thick you should have said so. I told her I did, but she did it like this. They proceeded to do one nail thick & laughed bc it looked ridiculous- they did not arch it or give it a nail shape. It was rude and disrespectful. I was unsatisfied and will never return.

What I asked for

I went in there today and I asked for the nails shown in the picture the lady said she can do it but as you can see she obviously didn't know what she was doing highly recommend you save your money and go somewhere, if 0 stars was a option I would definitely give them that

I do not recommend this place. the service is very bad i did my pedicure at wester nails spa in this nail salon.

Was really sad with the service on my last trip there. I had Tiffany do them because I know she's good and when I went back in for her to look at the job she'd done she embarrassed me in front of the whole salon and made me sound like i was crazy. It was a terrible, terrible experience and it made me officially never want to go there again

Was there about 3 weeks ago I got a spa pedicure i upgraded to the $45 a day after the bottom of my foot started itching then I got these little water bubbles I've been putting Neosporin and anti itch cream now there is still some itching but it's extremely dry now and peeling and may I add my sister was with me she ended up going to ER because the cut her cuticle so bad that she got a bad infection they had to open it up to get the The pus out she had to take antibiotics horrible will never go back there

The gel peeled off.

they're actually one of the WORST salons I've ever been to. I got gel + acrylic for 35, and they started peeling the second I got home. How is that possible? I called them in the morning and they told me to come in, so I said cool, they messed up and they're going to fix it. Everyone makes mistakes, whatever. I asked the lady if I can come right away and she said "yes, come now". When I got there, they told me to wait TWENTY MINUTES. So I was like "okay, I'll just get my eyebrows threaded then". IT WAS THE WORST IDEA OF MY LIFE. I wasted 12$ on nothing, my eyebrows still need to be threaded! It was as if she did nothing at all! After, she finally did my gel again, and when I got home, it started PEELING AGAIN. HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN TWICE?????? UPDATE: the acrylic started breaking. this has never happened to me, ever!

Do NOT bother going here. My dip didn't even make it 24 hours before it cracked and popped up on multiple fingers.

Though we had a break after I moved to the Westside, pure chance put us back in touch and thus began my long distance love affair with being in the #naturalnailgang under Winn's artistry. One of my favorite parts is that it's just me and her. No crowded salon, no noise, no bad music. Just one-on-one time where I'm not rushed and she can focus on every detail. My nails are a big part of my identity. Anytime I've tried to go somewhere closer out of convenience, it's ended in at least one broken nail and a lot of regret. At this point, I don't experiment. I go to The Nail Tailor for the best nails in San Pedro and beyond.

First off, the cleanliness is top-tier. Everything feels sanitized, organized, and well-maintained, which is something I really pay attention to. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, not rushed or chaotic like a lot of other salons. The technicians are incredibly detail-oriented and take their time. My pedicure always comes out flawless, from the nail shaping to the polish application. No streaks, no rushing, no shortcuts. They actually care about the quality of their work, and it shows. The massages? Easily one of the best parts: perfect pressure and long enough to actually feel relaxing. What really keeps me coming back is how consistent they are. Extremely Disappointed - Unprofessional and Rude Behavior…read more I truly thought I had found the perfect hairstylist after seeing Michelle's work online--it looked great, and I felt confident trusting her to help me find a look that suited me. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite. I came prepared with a few inspiration photos and expected a collaborative conversation, especially since she claimed to help clients find the right style. Instead, Michelle was incredibly rude and dismissive. She told me she "deals with people like me all the time" and said she felt unsafe--simply because I asked a few questions. She spoke down to me, saying she didn't have time to "educate" me, even though I thought that was part of her job as a professional stylist. She labeled my questions as a "consultation" and implied I was wasting her time, despite me trying to be respectful and clear about needing help. I left feeling shocked, disrespected, and honestly hurt. I felt like she had no intention of helping--just collecting an $80 deposit before treating me poorly. This was a deeply upsetting experience. I would not recommend Michelle to anyone looking for a stylist who is patient, kind, or professional.

So I found Locket Extensions. During our consultation since super nice and sweet. The day of the install came and I loved the way my hair looked at the salon. Once I got home I noticed the top of my head was much fuller than the bottom and asked her if she could move some around. She said fine and scheduled an appt. She cancelled on my 3 times claiming she was having mental health issues. I told her I completely understood. I wanted to fix my hair before my trip to Hawaii. She finally fixed it. When it came time for my first MOVE UP I sat in her chair and as she started going THRU MY HAIR. After a couple of rows she began to complain that I wasn't take care of my extensions. She was like these are so bad that this isn't a MOVE UP this is a complete install. I was like what are you talking about. She then went to blame me for ruining my hair on my vacation. She said" I saw your photos you were all in the water wetting your hair". I was first of all I always avoid wetting my hair in pools or beaches as much as I can. And second of all if I wanted to wet my hair I could. Wetting your hair shouldn't affect the placement. I've been wearing extensions for many years longer than she had been installing extensions. So I know how to take care of them and how to take care of my investment because extensions are not cheap. Besides I go on a lot of vacations and never had a problem with my hair. The way Michelle went of on my that day was on called for. I was completely confused. She talked to my a child I front of the other stylist and their clients. As she did my move up she was doing hard and hurting my head because she was pulling on it. Like I said I have been extensions for years at TEN TEN salon on Wiltshire. So I know it should hurt this much. I asked her please be more gentle. She went on to blame like me. u didn't take care of your hair. She was being aggressive and just simply rude. I felt like I was I. high school. I wish maybe the owner would have stepped in and told her she was being out of line. I was embarrassed and humiliated. I paid for the move up and didn't stay for my root touch up. The whole time she was bitching at me I was already texting a friend to do my roots because there was no way I was allowing her do any more services on me. I paid for the move up and left About 8 hours later she begins sending messages like you only paid for a move up. What I did was a complete install. You either pay me or I'm reporting you to the Sheriffs. I found someone in Los Alamitos. Little did I know she was the founder of Locket Extension. She was so professional . She was appalled at my install. She called her hair stylist over to come and see my extensions. The pics I'm sharing are the ones she took. She told me this install was completely wrong. Click and zoom in on the pictures. About 2 months later I see Michelle at Target San Pedro. And of course causing some drama with poor lil young cashier. She made a whole scene in front of Target called his manger in front of everyone. She was so loud and arrogant. I guess that's just the way she is. Someone in line even told her to stop already and that she was I the wrong and not the cashier. If you love drama then I recommend Michelle Zabata

Updated Review in response to the owner's response: 2/24/2025:…read more I thought my review of 3 stars for the work was generous considering the lack of customer service and communication, and the high prices. As I stated, the overall quality of the nail job was good, however I am speaking about the overall experience. This is what I have to say in response to your hostile response. I'm glad you admit it was a day lacking customer service and admit to at least some fault. However, your lack of professionalism and attacking me after I wrote a review based on MY experience says enough. Also, no one ever communicated there was a spa option, no one. There was hardly any communication whatsoever, let alone about any optional services. Telling me I'm a bad customer, insinuating I lack manners, and that I suddenly decided to change from gel nails to gel-x is FALSE. Stating I inconvenienced you by wanting gel-x is false because when I texted for the appointment, I clearly said I wanted almond nails, I never mentioned gel. I showed pictures upon arrival, and when I realized you both weren't registering what I wanted, I showed a photo again. I did not cause any mishaps, because after me, there were only 2 other people that came in, and in total, there were 3 employees. No one came in afterwards the whole time I was there. I was the last one there and when I left, no one came in as I left either. In regards to me saying it is too pricey, you stated, you do not work for free. OBVIOUSLY. I paid and tipped. No one works for free. I'm simply stating my opinion, many other reviewers stated the prices are pricey too, but because they had a good enough experience to give 4 or 5 stars, you didn't attack them, like you attacked me. Telling me you would never get a massage chair and that I can rest at home; you are completely missing the point. I am simply letting others know that a massage chair is not provided here because it is common for salons to have massage chairs. Many women go to the salon to get pampered and for a service and for some, it helps them relax; that is what people get tipped for, the added experience. Ajumma, just because you have good craftsmanship, does not mean you can attack people when they write a review based on their experience. I'm curious as to why your response to me was in Hangul instead of in English, since you replied to others in English. If others google translated exactly what you wrote to me, they would be shocked at the full response. I hope you can learn to take constructive criticism. I'm glad there are customers who love your shop, and have had better experiences than I had. This is the last you will hear from me. Take care. ___________________________________________________________ Initial Review 2/10/2025: First impression: walked in, no greeting whatsoever. Weird aura. Turns out English isn't there strong suit. They do not do any small talk at all. Unless if you know Korean. At this point I'm like, should I leave? I stayed anyway. I was disappointed they didn't have massage chairs. I understand why they opted out for no foot spa, because in the end it isn't sanitary but at least a massage chair. When I texted what I'd like and came in, I repeated myself many times. Once I realized she wasn't registering what I wanted I stopped her and told she and she had someone else confirm. I mean.... I texted it, verbalized it, and showed pics, and that should've been enough. I got a small light pink charm, and I don't like that you see the glue through the charm but I guess there's nothing you can do since the charm is so light in color. Otherwise, the quality is good. However, I requested something basic, and only got 1 charm glued on... I was in disbelief by the total cost. I did not think it would be this much at all! A short mani with only one charm, and pedi ended up being $210!!! I just couldn't believe it. As nice as it is. Never again. No massage chair, and way too costly. I didn't feel like I was being pampered or relaxed at all. Also, when the lady was working on my toes, another lady worked on prepping my nails. She made me reach my other arm across to one side so she didn't have to go on the other side. It was uncomfortable. I don't like a lot of chatter but I'm telling you, there was no hello, no thank you, nothing at all. So strange. Even to show me the cost she just pointed at the screen. Like c'mon now. Overpriced and bad customer service- more like lack of. Personally, I would not go back.
