When I first tried this salon I was so happy, great service, great nails. The past three times I've tried... not the case. The past two times I've left with only my pedicure finished and it seems today will be the same. Came in at 1pm for my gel man/ped. 1:30 my pedicure starts. Nails techs have finished service and moved on to start new customers, while I'm still sitting here with only my feet being done. The guy in charge finished a pedicure and moved to start a new pedicure, to a women in the back who's having her nails done simultaneously (as I requested) and she came in 30 minutes after I got here. The end of my pedicure was the most epic part, though, using the cuticle cutters she cut into the side of my pinky toe. Like the fluffy pad of my pinky toe. I got my nails done right before my bachelorette trip and they couldn't have turned out more perfect! I wanted a white base with a chrome finish. The salon has a book of different chrome finishes and I chose one with a blue tint. The photos don't do my nails justice, because out in the sun you can really see how the nails change between a blue and pink tint from the chrome. My nail tech took their time to shape my nails to exact shape and size I wanted and was so friendly. I will definitely be coming back here for future manicures! read more

Tucked away in the plaza next to Jersey Mike's Sandwiches, they are hard to find from the parking lot if you don'tknow where to go. It was my first time here and super excited to come back. The facilities are very clean, easy to make an appointment online or phone (and if you're a walk-in, they're extremely accommodating), and staffed with wonderful nail techs who make you feel welcomed. They've converted me from never getting my nails done to the road of becoming a regular. I'm sure everyone does great work, but Harley is an artist. She's incredibly detail-oriented and makes something as simple as almond shaped nude nails look elevated. 11/10. Pro tip: highly recommend the TAP hybrid gel. I went to get an acrylic full set and express pedicure done on Thursday, at 3 PM and unfortunately the experience was terrible. My pedicure was done quickly and effectively, and it came out great! The woman who did it was great. The man who did my nails took over an hour to file and shape my nails- a simple tapered square. The shape is excellent, however the design I showed is nowhere close to the design I got. There is no reason why I am paying $80+ for nails and still have to compromise on my design because the technician doesnt know how to do the design- and if he didn't know how to then he should've said that from the beginning. There are air bubbles in my nails, the charm has already broken in half and the french tip is lopsided. I got there at 3 and didn't leave until 8 and they close at 7. I was there for 5 hours , paid over $150 and am INCREDIBLY unsatisfied. However , I will say the people are there are incredibly friendly and respectful but I will never be back. I'm a nursing student who just wanted to be pampered and instead was left very disappointed. Do not come here, especially for acrylic. And if they do not know how to do acrylic well, they need to take it off of the menu and specialize in gel. Update: The gel on my pedicure is now starting to chip, and I was there 2 days ago and have only showered in regards to being around water. My nails are perfectly uniformed, the color looks great, Lanny was very meticulous and mindful. Harvey started my pedicure and he was also very attentive. Lanny finished my pedicure due to timing and hneeded to attend to another customer. The salon is very clean and well maintained. I also appreciate that they use a machine to capture the dust while filing and drilling your nails. Everyone there was very polite, friendly, and welcoming, which is key! I love the services they offer, especially the luxury gel pedicure, i have never had softer feet since i started regularly getting pedicures with them. Its genuinely like a 2.5-3 hr experience, that is just so worth it. GREAT selection of colors and gel types, wish there were more shades of green to choose from though! My only concern is that the one time i got a gel mani here, I believe they overbuffed my nails because my nails began to tear and break and even BEND within 24 hrs after the mani. And i usually dont get polish or gel on my nails, and i take vitamins so theyre not brittle and healthy usually. That was a first to see ALL my nails do that. Like other reviews I've read , I too was offered a dip powered nail style for natural look vs. gel manicure I initially intended to get . And like other users experience my nails are thick with the dip... I'm not well versed in nails but it seems like a couple layers of acrylic powder was applied to my nails. From a distance it still looks nice but it's a little uncomfortable due to the thickness . I'll just wait for them to fall off :) The pedicure was phenomenal, that is where the nail tech's ( that helped me) skills are mastered for sure . The pricing threw me off a little... I overheard what a new Gel X set with design + gel pedicure was charged and I paid $10 less, which I didn't get ... comparing the work... considering the detail the other girls nails had. None the less... The owner and nail tech that helped me were really nice . The owner appears to be really talented. Overall I think it's a cute shop. This salon is the bomb dot com! I was a walk-in on a Friday afternoon so I was lucky that they had some availability for me. I got a simple mani and a slightly upscale pedi (with focus on fixing any callouses). Both ladies that were helping me were super nice, polite, caring, and also very considerate to wear a mask when they were around me. (I didn't care too much about masks but I had worn one since I'd be in close proximity to the salon workers). Cassie did my mani and she was super quick and efficient; nice to chat with and she had great attention to detail. Lynn did my pedi and she was also very attentive and did a great job. Bonus were the arm and leg massages that came with the mani pedi as well; it felt like I was at a spa! These ladies work hard and they're super deserving of MORE CUSTOMERS! The salon is tucked away in a corner of a shopping complex so it can be easy to miss. But I think that they're so good at what they do and deserve more business! Last time I went in I had an appointment but still had to wait 45 minutes. SO SO BAD! And so expensive.... The slowest (was there almost 3 hours) and one of the most expensive mani pedis I've gotten in the area , total came out to be like $180 for basic gel x and gel toes. Idk HOW that happened but if you are going to charging more than lovely nails and spa (the best nail salon) then you better do a good job. Nails were not shaped well, they had attitude , and I was there for almost 3 hours and they were doing my nails at snail speed . Idk if the had girls who were learning doing my nails but that is not ok to do and then charge full price.... They just don't have skills there . Prices should be lowered in my opinion and I regret paying honestly I should have just walked out or complained and got a discount because I was very upset with my nails that I spent my hard earned $$$$$ on. This is a difficult call for me, because I really liked the owner, the place is cute, and everyone seemed nice. But my experience 2x hasn't been great, so I'm going to call it and move on. I went once and got dip instead of my regular gel, which was my mistake. I have short nails, and they were SO thick, it looked terrible. On top of that, the color looked nothing like it did in the book. I called on my way home and to her credit, the owner told me to come back and she'd fix them. So she shaved them down enough, so it wasn't SO thick, but it was still bad enough that I came back less than a week later to get them off and to get gel. So I called and they said to come in at a certain time. When I got there, I still had to wait 25 min, which I understand things happen, but still. I chose a gel color from their book, they didn't have it. No problem. I picked another, they didn't have that one either. So I used one I brought myself. I got them done last night at 6pm ish, and it's not even noon the next day, and they've already turned colors, I suspect from not having them in the light for long enough (I kept them in for as long as they told me to). Anyway, another $45 down the drain. I'll move on and find another San Pedro nail place, but it's unfortunate bc it's a cute place and everyone seems nice. read more
