The nails that they did were good. Prices just kept going up. Idk it was rough. We had a baby with us and because of the baby sitting on my sister (his mom's) lap they refused to do the pedicure. During her manicure I was handed my nephew so they could paint her nails and when he got fussy bc he's still breast fed, my sister asked to stop for a little so she can deal with him as to not disturb the others there. The nail lady refused her. My nail lady was helping me calm his down bc as any parent or person who helps with a baby of just 1 year or so knows, they will not calm down until there is milk. So idk it made me upset. And after her hands were done they once again told her no to a pedicure. We had a rough night before and this was her one time pampering herself as a new mom so it did not sit with me right. The other thing is, they genuinely could have just done her toes first bc she assured them about him sitting during a pedicure and they ignored her. read more

I got a pedicure. The lady cleaned her nail tool in my dirty pedicure water. Another lady was doing my nails. She cut my finger. I asked for square nails, but they were so crooked that she had to make them coffin to even get them somewhat straight. Then she had the audacity to tell me to ask for coffin next time, like it was my fault. She left the edges jagged. I had to keep telling her to fix them. After sitting there for more than an hour I just had to accept that that was her best work and left. I will never be coming back. Save yourself a headache and never go here. I was so excited to treat myself to a fresh set after using press ons for months and left so dissatisfied. I paid 50$ for the pedicure and 65$ for her to mess up my nails. read more

I got my nails done right before my bachelorette trip and they couldn't have turned out more perfect! I wanted a white base with a chrome finish. The salon has a book of different chrome finishes and I chose one with a blue tint. The photos don't do my nails justice, because out in the sun you can really see how the nails change between a blue and pink tint from the chrome. My nail tech took their time to shape my nails to exact shape and size I wanted and was so friendly. I will definitely be coming back here for future manicures! read more

Please be aware of these scammers. As you can see in the picture, it clearly states that first-time clients will get 20% off. I went to get my first pedicure done hoping that the 20% discount would apply, but it was just a deceiving tactic to get people to use their service. The owner was very rude and disrespectful. She was arguing with me back and forth, claiming that the ad meant you get 20% off for the next time you return. Her foolishness is beyond my comprehension. I will never return to that place. read more

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my experience. When I made my appointment, I was asked twice whether I needed a refill or a new set. Both times, I specifically said that I wanted a builder gel set. Despite clearly communicating this, the nail technician initially proceeded as if I was getting a fill. Midway through the appointment, she told me that we would have to do a new set and that it would be an additional $10. I told her that was fine because a new builder gel set was what I had originally requested. While my nails were being shaped, I also asked if she could please file down a couple of my nails because they were noticeably uneven and longer than the rest. She said she would check, but even after I asked multiple times, my concern was disregarded. I also specifically requested a purple-toned polish, but I ended up leaving with brown/neutral-colored nails, which was not what I asked for. Overall, I felt like my requests were repeatedly overlooked throughout the appointment. For the amount of money I paid -- over $100 -- I expected better communication, attention to detail, and for my requests to actually be followed. Unfortunately, I left feeling frustrated and disappointed with the experience. read more

When I first tried this salon I was so happy, great service, great nails. The past three times I've tried... not the case. The past two times I've left with only my pedicure finished and it seems today will be the same. Came in at 1pm for my gel man/ped. 1:30 my pedicure starts. Nails techs have finished service and moved on to start new customers, while I'm still sitting here with only my feet being done. The guy in charge finished a pedicure and moved to start a new pedicure, to a women in the back who's having her nails done simultaneously (as I requested) and she came in 30 minutes after I got here. The end of my pedicure was the most epic part, though, using the cuticle cutters she cut into the side of my pinky toe. Like the fluffy pad of my pinky toe. I'm not even sure what she was trying to cut. read more

Great service over the phone and in-person. Super cool vibe. They had my kinda chill techno music playing at a nice easy listening volume. Tucked away in the plaza next to Jersey Mike's Sandwiches, they are hard to find from the parking lot if you don'tknow where to go. It was my first time here and super excited to come back. I appreciated the cleanliness using new towels for every new segment of the Pedicure Deluxe service that I got. The place has so many options for colors. The Gel-X that they carry has 40+ colors, they call it Builder Gel from Zen. They are under new management and are trying their best to elevate their previous reputation. read more

I can't remember if this was the nail salon i went to? All i remember is going to a nail salon in San Pedro. Their work isn't perfect, but its good if your in a rush. They do their work pretty fast. It's easy to get in and get out in a timely manner. It's also a good go to place in general. read more

They couldn't even get french nails right. I sat in the chair for THREE HOURS JUST FOR GEL TOES. It also took two people working on my nails and they still couldn't get it right. I also made an appointment and they took me in 30 minutes later which was frustrating because what the hell is the appointment time for then? Useless. People have things to do. I was sweating in that no AC building in the chair for three hours just for my nails not to come out right. My big toes do not much and they said it was because my nail beds were different colors like WHAT? I've never in my life heard that or had that problem. they were just trying to make excuses. You can clearly tell in the photo. Also i asked for square nails. Do you guys see square anywhere? I genuinely don't write bad reviews or any at all for that matter but this experience really frustrated me as I was heading out for 4th of July trip the next day. Sorry, never coming here again. read more

Western Ave has a string of nail shops within a one-mile radius. While most are fine, this one really stands out. The facilities are very clean, easy to make an appointment online or phone (and if you're a walk-in, they're extremely accommodating), and staffed with wonderful nail techs who make you feel welcomed. They've converted me from never getting my nails done to the road of becoming a regular. I'm sure everyone does great work, but Harley is an artist. She's incredibly detail-oriented and makes something as simple as almond shaped nude nails look elevated. 11/10. Pro tip: highly recommend the TAP hybrid gel. It takes longer, but the finish is beautiful and grows out nicely. Bring cash or use Zelle/Venmo. read more

10/10 would recommend! I can't say enough about how great this salon is! It doesn't smell strongly AT ALL in here, which always bothers me so I was super appreciative. first time and last time coming here, as soon as I walked in the smell of nail chemicals was super strong. I asked how long was the wait and didn't get a response. After waiting a few minutes, I told them never mind and was going to leave. Then they asked me to have a seat. I was getting a mani/pedi. The lady who did my manI insisted on giving me a gel mani, after I told her "no" several times, she seemed upset and very loudly told me she had prepared my nails to give me a gel mani, was very rude and her attitude was uncalled for. However, Tina who did my pedi was very nice. read more

This might be the best nail place I've ever been to. After having been twice now, I can confidently say that ever have I gotten such clean, comfortable perfect manicures. I find you get what you pay for when it comes to nails, and I'd happily pay these prices for the high quality outcome I get. read more

I went to get an acrylic full set and express pedicure done on Thursday, at 3 PM and unfortunately the experience was terrible. My pedicure was done quickly and effectively, and it came out great! The woman who did it was great. The man who did my nails took over an hour to file and shape my nails- a simple tapered square. The shape is excellent, however the design I showed is nowhere close to the design I got. There is no reason why I am paying $80+ for nails and still have to compromise on my design because the technician doesnt know how to do the design- and if he didn't know how to then he should've said that from the beginning. There are air bubbles in my nails, the charm has already broken in half and the french tip is lopsided. I got there at 3 and didn't leave until 8 and they close at 7. I was there for 5 hours , paid over $150 and am INCREDIBLY unsatisfied. However , I will say the people are there are incredibly friendly and respectful but I will never be back. I'm a nursing student who just wanted to be pampered and instead was left very disappointed. Do not come here, especially for acrylic. And if they do not know how to do acrylic well, they need to take it off of the menu and specialize in gel. Update: The gel on my pedicure is now starting to chip, and I was there 2 days ago and have only showered in regards to being around water. Incredibly disappointed, despite such friendly and agreeable customer service ! read more

I'm very disappointed with this nail salon. They work strictly by appointment, yet when I arrived for my scheduled time, I was not attended to on time at all. There was no communication, no apology, and the staff was unprofessional. This is the second time this has happened, which shows a lack of respect for customers' time. If you book an appointment, don't expect it to be honored. read more

First time here, loved my experience. I got a pedicure and gel builder fill. My daughter got a full set and pedicure. My nails are perfectly uniformed, the color looks great, Lanny was very meticulous and mindful. Harvey started my pedicure and he was also very attentive. Lanny finished my pedicure due to timing and hneeded to attend to another customer. The salon is very clean and well maintained. I also appreciate that they use a machine to capture the dust while filing and drilling your nails. Everyone there was very polite, friendly, and welcoming, which is key! My daughter was also happy with her services done by Emily and Lan they were both very professional and very friendly. We will definitely become regulars, for sure!! read more

Like other reviews I've read , I too was offered a dip powered nail style for natural look vs. gel manicure I initially intended to get . And like other users experience my nails are thick with the dip... I'm not well versed in nails but it seems like a couple layers of acrylic powder was applied to my nails. From a distance it still looks nice but it's a little uncomfortable due to the thickness . I'll just wait for them to fall off :) The pedicure was phenomenal, that is where the nail tech's ( that helped me) skills are mastered for sure . The pricing threw me off a little... I overheard what a new Gel X set with design + gel pedicure was charged and I paid $10 less, which I didn't get ... comparing the work... considering the detail the other girls nails had. None the less... The owner and nail tech that helped me were really nice . The owner appears to be really talented. Overall I think it's a cute shop. I just need to ask more questions next time :) read more
