Just Horrible! I went in to get a manicure and a full set but the man did such a horrible job on the manicure, he cut and pinched a piece of my skin (2 separate fingers) to the point that I didn't move forward with the full set because all the chemicals would of gotten inside the cut. I've been coming to this place for years and never experienced anything like this. I will not be coming back here. read more

Excellent gel manicure and a fantastic value for the price. My manicurist was detailed, thorough, and time efficient! I called ahead to see if they could take a walk-in and they advised I come in an hour later. When I arrived, I waited less than 5-10 minutes and was so satisfied with my manicure. read more

I come here all the time well let out I USE to. But I went in today and the service was just horrible. The older man giving me a pedicure didn't want to add a tip on my nail. I like my toe nails square tip and I like they way the look with square tip and he's was like no you don't need it ok but I like it. Then told me my nail was too thick I told him I'll cut it down myself to add a square tip. He's got up and left and the owner I'm guessing she is came and said just paint the nails they look fine. I told them no I'll go somewhere else so read more

Waited over 45 mins , 3 nail people 2 customers. They should say come back..my 88 yr old mom ,just sat in cold water by then..we left , she said sorry ..NOT WORTH THE TIME..walked into professional nails near Ralph..right in the chair no problem. read more

I MIGHT just give it another try. This place has a 4.8 how? I have no clue, maybe it was my luck I went on a bad day? But I am I intrigued in how they have such high rating with such poor service delivery. 1. Girl put the wrong color on my toes 2. My finger nails are bubbly and not well done 3. I asked for NO GEL & there you go I got gel 4. Wait time was over an hour , when I was told it would only be 20min Although the customer service was good, & they are pretty friendly I was not satisfied. Since they were really nice I couldn't tell them right there and than that their job sucked, I felt bad. I did told the girls about the wrong color and that I didn't want gel , but I don't think they understood or probably just acted like they didn't understand. All one of them said "oh sorry yes very nice" I think I will give it another try , & maybe this time let them know what I didn't like from my first visit and hopefully they show their full effort. read more

So the lady with super short hair did my nails. She seemed very nice and polite in the beginning, she told me they take their last client at 5 and I got there at 510 asking if she was sure I could still be seen. She assured me YES but asked if I could wait. She was in the middle of a nail session with another lady, waited another 30 mins before being seen. My 6yo daughter had her nails painted by her first,(30 mins before closing time) then I had my acrylic set done. I asked for medium long to long. The whole process though I realized she was rushing through my set thinking I wouldn't notice hanging acrylic on the underside of my nail, or missing black paint on every edge from careless attention to detail. I asked her to add more acrylic to the top of one of my nails because there was none added there and that is when her attitude became apparent. It went downhill from there fast. Right after I said something about 'please' sand more on another nail(which was LUMPY) she conveniently cut me. Then she had the audacity to say come earlier next time because she didn't know I would be like "change this, please change that, I dont like this" and I replied that I HAD to say something because it is clearly rushed and looks rushed. She ofcourse is one of those Asians that talk shit in her language very rude. Gaslighting to make up for her poor quality work. But pushed me to start doing nails if this chick can make money idk who couldn't. read more

I would give ZERO if I could. They do not even acknowledge you when you walk in the door. Hello can I get a pedicure?I have gel on them now, that also needs removed... their response, she looks around and speaks in their native language. Then says have a seat. How long will it be? I ask...her answer I don't know. That was it for me, I am over their attitude and I turned around and walked out. Even if you have an appointment, you will wait. They only have 2 people that do pedicures. Do Not waste you precious time. Go to The nail shop next to granny's donuts, where I was greeted and in the chair in 2 mins. read more

This place USED to be the best nail spot for me in San Pedro. After the owner sold the place to one of her nail techs I tried it out and was very disappointed. Will not be returning again. The man and woman working there are very rude and the teen male who did me pedicure did a horrible job. I was very upset I spent $60 for a shitty job. read more

Stumbled upon this Gem! Great Mani and Pedi..Would highly Recommend if in San Pedro Area

I just can't.... I'm just sitting here getting a pedicure and for the first time ever I can't wait to get the hell out. I normally go to PV nails on Gaffey but bc of my last experience I decided to try a different establishment. Y'ALL!!! THESE FLIES!! I don't think I've ever been bitten by flies before but my legs is so itchy...I'm just freaked out like W T F. I'm not even gon wait for these bad boys to dry. I did gave it two starts tho bc of the price. Recommendations: if you low on cash and really need a pedicure then come here. If not go somewhere else...somewhere preferably with no flies. This is crazy. Never seen anything like it. But the staff was pretty nice I guess. Waiting to get outta this chair before I post this review tho lmao read more

If I could leave zero stars, I would ! So mad right now. The lady, not Monique, with the glasses that's in the row closer to receptionist desk is just plain RUDE ! When I said that she didn't shape one of my nails right, she got upset. It's not my fault you're not doing a well enough job. My nails are way too thin. One already broke off because of how thin it is! I get a new set of nails every month & I have never broke one. She put on the wrong color too! This definitely wasn't the color that I asked for. I got gel & the color is already chipping. Never again will I get my nails done here ! UPDATE! Went back to get my nails fixed. She messed up the shape of the nails. Applied the correct color this time, but did a messy job. This color was the original color, I had asked for. She was even more rude this time. Instead of telling me to move my hand, she would yank or push it. Seriously NEVER going back ! read more

What is wrong with you people? How come you have such low standards? This place is horrible! Yes it is clean and the location is good, but the work itself is awful! First of all, ladies that work there do not speak English! Second, i asked not to buff my nails, the woman ignored my request. I had mani/pedi. Skin on my toes was covered with polish, she applied color the way that it touched the cuticle and i had to ask her 4 times to clean it. My manicure looked like i never actually had it! I attached photo so you can see the quality of work. I have NEVER had such a bad manicure in my life. Was I in a hurry? No. They had all the time in the world. If what you see in the picture satisfies you, if you enjoy looking at your hangnails, then its a right place for you. P.S. The woman did not wear gloves when she did manicure. Her fingers had awful and huge cracks. I hope i didn't catch anything from her. read more

For the few dudes out there that admit they need to groom themselves every once in awhile..this place is for you. Service: 10/10 Eyebrow waxing only $7: 10/10 Pedicure: 10/10 Cleanliness: 10/10 This shop is under a new owner, Monique, and she is excellent. She's the nicest lady and is very efficient. This place is not living up to its yelp reviews. Yes it's clean and there are lots of choices of polish but the service is horrible. The lady who did my gel manicure barely filed my nails so they looked uneven and painted about 5 coats of polish which is unnecessary, but makes since that it all started to chip a few days later. My pedicure actually turned out nice, she was the owners daughter and I wish I would have gotten her name. Doesn't matter I'm not going back read more

I was in San Pedro and had some time to kill, so I found this place on Yelp and decided to come here. I called before I went over and made an appointment for that day. They called a few minutes before my appointment to let me know they were ready for me to come in, so I did not have to wait at all. The salon itself was very clean and fresh and pretty, I love the wall murals. They offer a basic pedicure for around $15, though I got a little bit fancier one for around $25. Anyway, I really enjoyed my stay and was very relaxed and happy when I left. Plus, I have taught several dance classes and even done a few dance performances and my pedicure still looks absolutely perfect. I'm really pleased. read more

This was my go-to spot but I just got a fill literally a week ago and it was the worst fill ever. Three nails broke off and the rest started cracking. Monique was super sweet and did a great job. Salon is called BEST NAILS now. I did have to wait awhile AND I had am appointment. I was not in a time schedule so it was ok this time. It the Sunday before Christmas so that could have been the trouble. My pedicure was great and left my arthritic feet feeling revived. Came here to get my nails done for the first time since I just came back from vacation my usual nail tech was overbooked. I came in for a fill and change of color. I loved the way the acrylic was placed and the shape of my nail. But when it came to the color, it was completely wrong. It was past their closing time and I was running late; that I just left with a highlighter peach color. The tech did cut me 3 times hard. I'm not sure if I'll be coming back. read more

1st time and last time!! Terrible service, my gel color did not match the toes!! Not even close. So I picked a different nail color and told the lady I'd wait so she could start her other Customer that had been sitting for 30mins (along with others) I had time to wait. So finally they do a different color and said "ok thank you" I asked "aren't you going to match my toes?" of course the answer was "ok for $5 more" wtf?? Never again! Terrible service and not to mention a couple of customers left because they over book! I do not recommend this place! Change your name to Worse Nails read more

It is not ok to treat a customer like this.Like the reviewer above me said . One star is far too many . Dont go here if you want your nails done professionally. Ok first problem. I came in wanting my nails done for my wedding. The manager has a horrible attitude when i changed my mind ince about the color. She hadnt even gotten to prepping first ., when they did my "pedicure" , she removed my nail polish and went straigh to painting the new color. No filing no buffing , no soaking in the foot bath , i dont know why you even have a foot bath ., she tried upping the charge of course because i wanted french tip instead of color when we had already agreed on the price. When they did my manicure in gel . They did not know how to shape the nails so all the ends are the same length . The ends are jagged .Also she immediately starts speaking in chhinese fast in a vexed attitude .whenever you try to ask them for anything, like its such a bother and they are doing such a huge favor. When i payed her 35$ , i noticed she left the top half of my fingernail with no polish , a corner of the top she missed , and then it had two dent marks in the nail along the middle finger, already dreid on gel, the managwr goes hydterical when i showed her she screams that im too picky and nobody will see it it doesnt matter , ,,, im getting married and my nails look like some girl from middle school did them . I could have done a better job myself if i had known this i wouldnt have gone . The experiece all in all was so shitty i left in tears because the manager was screaming at me to get a second opinion on the dents and refused to give me my debit card back wtf its My card ??? Will never be going here ever again or to any nail salon for that matter . I sincerely regret coming here . read more

If I give give zero stars I would. I booked for gel removal and a manicure. The woman removing my gels did such a poor job. She kept trying to scrape it off instead of letting the polish soak adequately. She continuously filed the top of my nails, even reached to use the electric filer drill until I asked her not to. The process was so long I didn't even have time for a manicure. When I said I'd be late for work, they changed the price and had me pay more. When I explained I shouldn't be charged more because there's still polish on my nails, the owner didn't even acknowledge it. I left with polish still on my nails. I can't speak for their paint job, but I'm pretty disappointed in what I did experience. read more
