You really can't beat the prices here. Was able to make an appointment for gel pedicure the day of. Initially, I was a little turned off by the customer service when calling to make the appointment because I felt like I had to be the one asking the questions (I.e., after telling me to come in at 1:30, he was about to hang up the phone until I asked "do you need my name for the appointment?"). When I arrived there wasn't really a "welcoming" vibe per se, but the nail service itself was perfectly fine and the salon appeared clean which is what I primarily care about anyway. Just moved to the area and was in desperate need of removing 5 week old dip that I hated. Found BJ and was intrigued by the pricing. I got the regular gel manicure and I'll start by saying you get what you pay for. $28 is an insane price for gel so yes, it's low quality DND polish. Mine started chipping the next day and a week out, had chips on 3 nails. It's a bare step up from a regular manicure and priced as such. If you're used to regular gel that doesn't budge in 3-4 weeks, you're gonna need to pay $45 or more for Gel X, builder gel, or dip. That's about on par for other salons, so BJ loses it's pricing advantage the more serious about your nails you are. But I would totally return for their mani pedi deals because they really can't be beat. JC was also so attentive and friendly! read more

Well...I was so hopeful! First time they did a great job. Gel manicure lasted the full two weeks without issue. The second time four nails chipped less than a week, then bigger chips as the week progressed. I'm not doing anything different....the third time I tried dip and it worked much better. Lee said he could take the acrylic off but not do a manicure because there's other customers waiting. I ended up just having a pedicure. Will not come back here! I've done cats eye for nails before and it came out to $100 with tip. Here I got a Mani and pedi for $48. I'm only going to come here from now on! I was in and out of there in less than an hour without an appointment too! My nails are a bit difficult to work with because i don't like acrylic but my nails are so thin that even with gels they sometimes may break so I did a couple of the ones that broke acrylic and the rest gels and it still came out to under $50 usually places try to tax me for doing that but here it was just fine with them. read more

This was my first time coming here and it was really good. I am a type of person who doesn't really care how kind the staff members are as long as they get the job done. I did mini delux spa pedicure and I went home with beautiful toe nails and clean heels. And the price was affordable enough to consider coming regularly. The staff members were not the kindest with smiles and high tone voice all the time, but they gave everything I needed: greeting, seat to wait, and menu. In fact, the pedicure stylist was very kind once we started to converse and answered all my questions. The wait was about 30 min. I assume that is because I was a walk-in. My visit was Friday lunch time, and the staff members took their time for each customer. Maybe that explained the wait. There are only 3 people working, so I think it will get pretty busy on weekends. The stylist recommended Moisture Rich Deluxe Spa Pedi which includes Callus treatment for my dry heels. Next time! Kind of a funky looking salon, very blue walls. Reason for 3 stars is the poor customer service from the man that works there. He seems constantly agitated and is not friendly at all. My friend and I came in for manicures- gel for her and regular for me- and he was almost rushing us to choose our colors. Mind you.. there was no line so it wasn't like we were holding anyone up. AND, we were there at our scheduled appointment time. I sat down and luckily a woman helped me, she was friendly and did a good job on my minimalist natural-looking nails. My friend however, got stuck with the man. He didn't make conversation at all and when my friend showed him pictures of the style she wanted... he just would respond short and frustrated. Not saying he needs to be the king of customer service but dude... a LITTLE kindness would do you wonders. Nail "technician" was clearly totally new to the business. My 3rd grade niece could have done a better job! If a business is going to have an inexperienced nail tech doing someone's nails at least have the business owner check her work..and don't charge full price for a bad job. Looks can be very deceiving. Don't let the strip mall appearance stop you from going here. They opened earlier than posted and I was able to be taken immediately. I got a gel mani and regular pedi. Results were great. Staff was thorough and took their time (efficiently). I usually stray away from gel BUT this was the first time I had it done and didn't feel like the gel was burning on my nails. Their prices are definitely affordable. Tips are cash only and they do take Venmo. I suggest to just have cash.
