I've been coming to this place since they were located in the other plaza a few blocks over. The customer service is usually pretty nice, the prices are fair and it's clean. I usually call ahead to see how busy they are so I don't have to wait long. They accept Zelle, Venmo and I think Apple pay. Tips are taken in cash. Make sure you tip your technicians! read more

I am still trying to find a salon in Pedro that is 10/10 and this came close minus the owner. I tried to overlook his personality but he is just so dry. His tone comes off as I am irritated. However I appreciate the woman who works there everyday I forgot her name but she is the 2nd person closest to the owner. read more

Consistent service for as long as I have been going to BJ nails. Prices are very competitive.

The gentleman that works there did a horrible job on my nails and was very rude. He did not listen to my concerns and they blamed me for not getting the look I wanted. Will not be going here again. read more

I like this place because I get to come here after a stressed day and relax. They don't try to make small talk and I don't feel obligated to talk which is great after a stressful week or day at work. I've been coming here since I was a teenager for special event nails and still come back when I need to chill out and get my nails done. They take their time with acrylics and their chairs are comfortable for pedicures. They accommodate if you let them know what you need and they have good prices too. read more

They are always welcoming and friendly. Very good prices for what you get and they do an amazing job. Always pleased to be there.

You really can't beat the prices here. Was able to make an appointment for gel pedicure the day of. Initially, I was a little turned off by the customer service when calling to make the appointment because I felt like I had to be the one asking the questions (I.e., after telling me to come in at 1:30, he was about to hang up the phone until I asked "do you need my name for the appointment?"). When I arrived there wasn't really a "welcoming" vibe per se, but the nail service itself was perfectly fine and the salon appeared clean which is what I primarily care about anyway. The prices alone is the reason I would come back. read more

But I don't understand as I paid $35 for all these scrubs and callus removal and all I got was stuff done to my legs.

Just moved to the area and was in desperate need of removing 5 week old dip that I hated. Found BJ and was intrigued by the pricing. I got the regular gel manicure and I'll start by saying you get what you pay for. $28 is an insane price for gel so yes, it's low quality DND polish. Mine started chipping the next day and a week out, had chips on 3 nails. It's a bare step up from a regular manicure and priced as such. If you're used to regular gel that doesn't budge in 3-4 weeks, you're gonna need to pay $45 or more for Gel X, builder gel, or dip. That's about on par for other salons, so BJ loses it's pricing advantage the more serious about your nails you are. But I would totally return for their mani pedi deals because they really can't be beat. JC was also so attentive and friendly! read more

High Quality service for a Low Price. Moved to Pedro in Aug, was looking for my go-to place and am so glad I chose BJ Nails. The basic mani/pedi combo is the best price you'll find in the area and the service quality is great. I've had a few different techs and all have been good, but I have my favorites. I splurged on the Pamper Me Deluxe Pedi today and it was to die for! Highly recommend! read more

Well...I was so hopeful! First time they did a great job. Gel manicure lasted the full two weeks without issue. The second time four nails chipped less than a week, then bigger chips as the week progressed. I'm not doing anything different....the third time I tried dip and it worked much better. Lots of parking. I'd call first bc they turn plenty of ppl away since there are usually only two of them. They are consistently fast and efficient, no frills but cost effective also. read more

I love this place. The owner Le is extremely professional, caring, and attentive. Pricing is excellent. The place is very clean, bright and modern. There is ample of parking. The staff members are very wonderful and professional. LAN did the Deluxe Pamper Package pedicure for me and I am over the moon with the service that she provided. Lan was extremely detailed, meticulously perfection in all levels of her work. My nails look absolutely beautiful. Both of my heals, bottom of my feet, my whole two feet are so smooth, feeling like butter, like never before. No Nail specialist was able to achieve that level of service perfection like Lan does. BJ Nails Spa has become my most favorite place to go to. Highly recommend this place to everyone. read more

Bad customer service. After waiting for 20 minutes, Lee refused to complete all the services I asked for. I asked for a pedi, to take off my acrylic nails, and have a manicure. Lee said he could take the acrylic off but not do a manicure because there's other customers waiting. I ended up just having a pedicure. Will not come back here! I hope no one else gets treated the way I was treated. read more

This place is wonderful. They're fast and efficient, very clean and cheap! They also don't try to upsell you on other random things like other places do. I've done cats eye for nails before and it came out to $100 with tip. Here I got a Mani and pedi for $48. I'm only going to come here from now on! I was in and out of there in less than an hour without an appointment too! My nails are a bit difficult to work with because i don't like acrylic but my nails are so thin that even with gels they sometimes may break so I did a couple of the ones that broke acrylic and the rest gels and it still came out to under $50 usually places try to tax me for doing that but here it was just fine with them. read more

This was my first time coming here and it was really good. I am a type of person who doesn't really care how kind the staff members are as long as they get the job done. I did mini delux spa pedicure and I went home with beautiful toe nails and clean heels. And the price was affordable enough to consider coming regularly. The staff members were not the kindest with smiles and high tone voice all the time, but they gave everything I needed: greeting, seat to wait, and menu. In fact, the pedicure stylist was very kind once we started to converse and answered all my questions. The wait was about 30 min. I assume that is because I was a walk-in. My visit was Friday lunch time, and the staff members took their time for each customer. Maybe that explained the wait. There are only 3 people working, so I think it will get pretty busy on weekends. The stylist recommended Moisture Rich Deluxe Spa Pedi which includes Callus treatment for my dry heels. Next time! Tips in cash, so don't forget to stop by the bank on your way there. read more

This is a great hidden gem! It is in a very empty strip mall, which seemed daunting at first; however, it was great! I love spa massage chairs, so this was the place for me. There are a ton of gel nail colors to choose from. The decor is minimal, and this is not a fancy shmancy place, but it gets the job done for a great price. The technicians are very sweet, friendly, and nice. They are gentle, and the work that that they did was fantastic! A regular gel manicure and regular gel pedicure was only $55. You cannot pay card here. You can VenMo though! The tip must be given in cash. Come prepared, and leave happy! No wait times, and a very relaxing environment. * If you care, they are all masked. I do not have a preference, nor was I masked, but they did not make me wear one. read more

Kind of a funky looking salon, very blue walls. Reason for 3 stars is the poor customer service from the man that works there. He seems constantly agitated and is not friendly at all. My friend and I came in for manicures- gel for her and regular for me- and he was almost rushing us to choose our colors. Mind you.. there was no line so it wasn't like we were holding anyone up. AND, we were there at our scheduled appointment time. I sat down and luckily a woman helped me, she was friendly and did a good job on my minimalist natural-looking nails. My friend however, got stuck with the man. He didn't make conversation at all and when my friend showed him pictures of the style she wanted... he just would respond short and frustrated. Not saying he needs to be the king of customer service but dude... a LITTLE kindness would do you wonders. We did however notice that as soon as an older white woman walked in, everyone treated her very kindly.. different almost. It's a shame. Why can't every person, regardless of their color, just be treated equally? One and done for me. read more

Nail "technician" was clearly totally new to the business. My 3rd grade niece could have done a better job! If a business is going to have an inexperienced nail tech doing someone's nails at least have the business owner check her work..and don't charge full price for a bad job. Lee always does a great job on my gel manicure. He's quick and a bit of perfectionist and I like that.

So bummed to have to change my review. Lost a customer of 4 years because of horrendous customer service, even towards regulars. If I'm spending money I really don't want my presence to feel like an inconvenience. Took my mom for a holiday pedicure, made an appt, no greeting upon arrival, after 20 minutes past appt time asked if we would be seen soon, was replied to with a head nod. Ended up walking out and going somewhere else. Their services aren't better than the hundreds of other nail salons. Won't ever go back. read more

Looks can be very deceiving. Don't let the strip mall appearance stop you from going here. They opened earlier than posted and I was able to be taken immediately. I got a gel mani and regular pedi. Results were great. Staff was thorough and took their time (efficiently). I usually stray away from gel BUT this was the first time I had it done and didn't feel like the gel was burning on my nails. Their prices are definitely affordable. Tips are cash only and they do take Venmo. I suggest to just have cash. Parking is fine since most of the stores are closed or don't have much business (besides the liquor store haha) read more
