My second visit here in recent past on Friday night. Stopped coming here as they had no massage chairs decided to give it another try. Last time was fine but I had paid for a deluxe pedi and mani with scrubs etc. I just got the regular mani pedi last visit and it was terrible. Barely touched the callouses on feet and the massage was very brief and felt like I was being petted. I noticed there were dirt under two nails on hand and that another nail hadn't been done correctly dirty area on tip. When I pointed this out she 2anted to do another coat of clear....how is that going to deal with this and she then filed that nail a bit and removed the dirt under other nails. The pedicurist left for a customer and lady who did manicure went to put my flip flops on and ruined polish on big toe. Her fix was to polish over at which point had to say no you need to remove the big lump then repolish. OMG not relaxing and customer should not have to instruct staff how to fix their mistakes! The owner heard all this and said nothing. Won't go back. read more

I came here because the location was convenient compared to my regular shop and after the 2nd visit I've finally learned my lesson. My first visit I got an ombre coffin set and the blend wasn't too bad but I've had wayyyy better. The ring finger had the most noticeable line but I was too embarrassed to tell the nail tech to fix it. Like idk how the heck she didn't realize there was a whole ass line of demarcation but okay lol I let that one slide. Good thing is the nails stayed on forever. 2nd visit the other day I asked for a very simple french tip! I got there at 9:15 am and left at 11:15 with something I did not want. 2 hrs & $65 later with lumps and dull nails, I'll never go back. The nail tech was so slow and it seemed like it was her first time ever using acrylic. I was so over it I just told her to stop after she put a mocha color after changing colors like 3 times. This salon is at a convenient place close to home, being new to the area I decided to give a try. Now, they all seem very nice. I got a mani/pedi simultaneously, and it was rushed. Gel manicure, which was not the best I've had. The color was not the same as the sample chosen, it was uneven/obvious dips, and it's been just over a week and the color is peeling and chipping away. Never go to this nail salon it is the worst nail salon I have ever gone too I got a full set and a pedicure I was quoted 60 for my pedicure and 50 for my nails my total should have been $110 when it was time for me to pay they charged me $180 I didn't notice until I looked at my receipt when I turned around to ask for the refund because they charged me the $70 the lady that did my nails which is the owner had the nerve to ask me if I was going to leave that as a tip I said no I already tipped you cash why would I leave a $70 you didn't ask me to add a tip and I didn't tell you to add a tip so you purposely charged me extra and that's fraud when I told her this all she did was talk to her other employees in her native language which I don't understand I was getting very frustrated and I just said look it's not a big deal just refund me the rest they kept talking and completely ignored me and then they told me to leave otherwise they were going to call the cops on me for something they did I had to go pick up my son in the next 10 minutes so I didn't have time to wait for the cops and explain to them what happened I'm just going to dispute it with my bank but please save yourself the time the headache it's not worth it to go to the salon worst experience read more

Seated quickly and out within an hour. the seating is weird. when getting a mani/pedi you sit sideways. it's super awkward and hard to keep your hand in the dryer for gels. work was good, very detailed. $48 for a new acrylics and a pedi. a few days later I can see bubbles in my nails. also peep the cut he gave me. read more

I was forced to look for another nail salon and went back to Annie's to give them another try. The nail salon owner is always welcoming & gets things moving right along. However, the same feeling came back again. Always feel rushed through the process when I am trying to relax, this is not the place to go to relax and enjoy yourself. My nails started first and my hands were pulled so far over the table, my body was not comfortable. Then when my pedicure started, my back was twisted. I am petite person with lower back issues, so this was no the best for me. The full set nails on the side are jagged and rough & when asked the woman did file one for me. Unfortunately, I had to come home and refile my nails. My pedicure was simple not a lot went into the process and sadly, I left with rough feet, which is why I went in, in the first place. Giving a "2" because most of the time, I'm pretty satisfied with my experience at Annie's nails. The prices are reasonable, its close to my home, and the availability is usually pretty good. However, my last experience there was terrible (less than 1 star), and I'm afraid I wont' be going back in fear of having the same nail tech. She made me feel absolutely awful about my hands and feet. She made several comments about how dirty my feet were, told me she wouldn't be able to get all the dry skin off even though I paid extra for callus remover, and didn't even cut the cuticles. There was also nail polish all over my skin above the toenails. My manicure was no different. She made funny faces at my hands, laughed at me, and told me they were in terrible shape. She did not do cuticles there either and I had to ask her twice to go back and please file two of the nails she left untouched. She made me very uncomfortable. On top of that, the polish chipped on hands and feet in two days, so I'm not really sure about the quality here. I used to go to Annie's all the time, but this experience changed the way I look at the business. I hope they do better. read more

Very disappointed with my mani/pedi. Basic appointment, nothing fancy or gel nails. I was literally done in 15 minutes for both..at $52 prior to tip. My foot and hand massage was about 30 seconds and the technician spent about 1 minute on my cuticles. The water for my pedicure was cold and my feet were soaked for maybe a couple minutes. This salon was spotted one day I went to the post office, I never thought about going due to the reviews. The nail salon I planned on going to was closed by 1800 so I decided to try this salon. I walked in around 1830, I was greeted by a woman but was told to hold on. A gentleman came out and asked what service I would like, and the same woman who greeted me completed my service... either she was checking to see if she could say yes, or no from the manager. I personally felt she could've handle the initial conversation. I came here with my MIL to get our nails done. I requested an ombré look, which is hard to find someone who knows what they are doing. I showed Tammy a picture and she was able to re-do it. She was very patient with me. She recommended I had my nails longer, but respected my decision to have shorter nails and she still made it work!!! I have been coming here for years and still continue to do so because of their excellent service. They are usually very busy, so, I always try to call ahead to make an appointment in order to be seen. The tools are that have been used during my gel mani/pedi are as I've seen them pull it out of their autoclaves. The shop continues to improve upon its interior by updating their carpet, getting new massage chairs, equipment, etc. most of their staff are English speakers...and they try their best to communicate or clarify... Their prices have stayed consistent in the last 6-7 years that I've been coming to them. They are affordable. Thank you so much for your excellent service! I have a relative at a local rehab center who really needed a manicure. She reached out to Annie's Nails and they agreed to come to the facility and do a gel manicure. I must say I was a bit skeptical because the price quoted was the same as it would've been in the salon but she made the appointment nevertheless. Although the technician arrived an hour late (she did call twice to provide updates), she was so nice and very professional. Everything that would've been provided in the salon was done onsite at the facility and the smile on my aunt's face was worth every penny. First of the lady was stingy with the gel polish and I have super short nails and she was barely putting any on my nails I mean if your gonna charge gel price atleast be generous with the portion. I have only visited this spot once but feel compelled to write a review... I wanted a gel manicure and pedicure because I was feeling blah and beautification often helps (although not in this case, as I ended up getting very sick afterwards). Unfortunately, beautification can be expensive so I checked Groupon. There was nothing close to home and open on a Sunday so I checked Yelp for someone near the crib. This place came up. Decent stars. Coo prices. Open Sunday. I called and made an appointment for an hour in the future. I called back again to see if they have those paper pedicure sandals so I wouldn't have to do go home for some. They do! This nail salon is in cute old town Pedro. Not downtown. There were four other ladies getting services when I walked in. The service I received upon telling them of my appointment was nice. Not over the top but they figured I was the one who called twice in the last hour and the gentleman asked me to sit in a pedicure chair and pick my gel color as I waited for my appointment. Great color options - OPI and some other well-known brand I can't remember because I like OPI. Ms. Vicky was my manicurist. She looks like she ain't got time for your silliness because she's a boss but I asked her to help me solidify my color. She chose a pretty yellow. It worked because I've had yellow in the past, although I wanted to get a little crazy with a teal I've never tried. She said the color was good for my skin. Compliments get folks farther with me than they should so I went with yellow. Ms. Gina was on my toes. I thought it considerate that the male asked if I was okay getting my nails and toes tended to at the same time since it meant I had to contort in the core area. I didn't mind. Ms. Gina hardly said anything to me, even after I greeted her, but she made my feet feel and look pretty. She gives a great massage! Ms. Tina ended up doing my toe design. I showed her a picture of some dots that gradually got smaller toward the skin and asked for modified colors. She delivered. All in all, I will definitely return. The quality of the work I received is up to my lofty nail expectations. Ms. Gina did a fabulous job ensuring I had enough coats of the yellow gel to pop as much as it did on the synthetic nail (which is attached to much lighter complected "skin" than mine). The only thing that threw me off was that no cuticle softener was used for my gel manicure. I only realized this when my cuticles were sensitive and tender as Ms. Vicky was trimming them. I asked if there was any softener in the water, to which she replied "No, you don't need any". Although my cuticles were fine after the whole experience, I want softener used... This was my first time going to this place. The owner seems to be very outgoing and very friendly. He knew just about every customer who came in. I was impressed about that. My personal experience was I had a nice lady who only took walk-in. I got light pink gel after the 3rd coat I noticed that my nails had areas that was uneven and dark in some area. Before coming, I was recommended this place from a friend. I've been wanting to get my nails done but two things, I hate crowded places with a long wait and two, dislike overpriced services. So this place has beat a lot of other nail salons. To get a gel, it was around 25 some dollars and a pedi was about 10-15. The ladies were nice but I expected a bit more. Mona took care of my nails. She was recommended. She filed over my nails with a tool and then nail polished away. I didn't feel that she did any real cuticle cleaning. I know it's semi an oxymoron because no one is going to want their gel nails to grow quickly but still.. I'd like to have nice nails on top of my gel. My pedicure.. The best massage I've had in awhile. I can't say again much for cuticle cleaning or scrubbing. I have to say that when I came home, my heels were still rough. She could have tried selling me an extra scrub or exfoliate but nope. I would have taken it. Overall, it was a good experience. I would come back but ask for more to be done like asking her to make sure that's heels were scrubbed. So yes, this place is cheaper than most but I'd have to say that the quality is lacking. Where can I find a nail salon that's not booked on a holiday weekend and within hours of leaving on my road trip? Annie's Nails! It was close to my office and had great reviews on yelp. I called to see if they had any appointments available that same night. To my luck, I was able to book an appointment at 6 pm. I showed up about 20 minutes early, but I didn't mind waiting till my appointment time. I did mind waiting almost 10 minutes past my appointment time. Also, my manicure and pedicure were not at the same time. My pedicure did not start till my nails were almost done. I was here till almost 7:30! Despite the time issue, they did a great job on my gel manicure and regular pedicure. I added callus removal, the sea salt foot scrub, and french tip (mani and pedi). The total came to $50, which I think is a great deal! The nail techs took their time and made sure I was satisfied throughout the entire process. My feet and legs were super soft! And I loved how the French mani and pedi turned out. Btw! Lam was super nice and made sure I was taken care of the entire time. Everyone was so sweet and welcoming.
