We were initially going to try to add fake nails to my real nails but she picked up my subtle unease and hesitation with them so we decided to forego and not use any fake nails at all. I've gotten my nails done by Tammy for a few years now and was excited to try her new establishment. It did not disappoint! Her quality of work and attention to detail were excellent as per usual, and this new location helped highlight her skill. She provided a friendly, personalized experience at a reasonable price. (A standard fill is $45.) Her studio is clean and peaceful and she offered water/coffee/tea free of charge. The main reason I would recommend Tammy is that she has professional work that is long-lasting. I teach art and ceramics, so I am constantly digging my fingernails into dense clay, getting paint on them, and repeatedly washing them. I am clearly rougher with them than I should be. However, they pretty much always make it to three weeks without any issues! Other nail technicians that I've used will produce work that looks good the first day, but start to peel, chip, crack, or straight up break super easily. It just doesn't happen with Tammy. Terribly Disappointed! I've been getting g my nails done for over 20 years . Yes I'm picky , it it's enough we gave to be taken advantage of , being charged for every single item. But we do it ! From a broken nail , to bring cut , paying fur callous remove that should be soaked at least 5 minutes ( per instructions) but they don't ! No one does ! Which it's rare I get done and do myself as it's difficult to get anyone to do a good job or take pride on what they do other than expect a great tip ! I've got a tip how about take pride in work ! Take care of your customers , especially new ones that had a decent experience the first time only to be shuffled around the second time . It takes time for us to take time for us to stop invest in looking our best only to receive crappy customer service no regard In communicating or keeping one's schedules time ! During my pedicure the gentleman very very nice I had to keep addressing my concerns , in the interim, I hear an argument arise between her and another customer argue in front of all the other customers . She suddenly (Tammy the owner ) decides she'll do my nails her self again after first telling me she'll have the person my toes do my nails also . The perdí. That was suppose to do my nails walls in - with no regard to my being there having had had a scheduled appointment. I ask if I can get my nails done tomorrow by that individual - then some more uncomfortable conversation between them to , at least that was in English ( thankfully ). She asked if that appointment is okay . I said let me confirm and verify with Spouse as we return to the south su again tomorrow and had my scheduled appointment dismissed today . She then has a customer she had waiting there for a Facial ( I had overheard ). And and says" okay let's go to room ! " I CANT believe the circus I'm witnessing . I get up , and she says " okay I'll do right now "/ I reply " No , thank you . Then as I go to pay - she Attempts to charge me a higher cost pedicure service than I had , and disputing that with me ! Now I understand the argument she was having with other customer ! Despite Tammy Nail Salon being closer to my residence in Sun City , Id rather continue driving to La Quinta again ( sorry honey ) to Anne's nails where she takes pride in treating her source of income ) customers with Pride and great customer service , always upgrading het equipment , chairs and facility keeping customers satisfied !! read more
