I was super excited to find Chloe Nails 2 days ago and thought I would give it a try. Everything seemed great until my nail tech was on his phone for about 10 mins, completely distracted and stopping all the time during filing to check what was coming in and comment. I finally asked him "why are you on your phone?!" to which he seemed surprised, denying it and then pushed his phone back from where he thought he had it hidden under an arm pillow. Now less than 48hrs after spending $95 inc tip, my gel x is chipping and I haven't done anything - no gym, no dishes, etc. And even if I had, they should not be chipping! This is not ok. I have been coming here for a couple years now. I hate complaining but this last time I was there I was a bit disappointed. I walked in there was no wait time which was great and I was able to get a gel pedicure and builder gel on my hand nails in about an hour. But when I left there i was hurting. My big toe was cut really bad on the side where ingrowns happen and then on my hand my builder gel is very thing and uneven and the lady filed so hard she made a big slice on my finger. I am so upset because i keep hurting myself everywhere and the cuts are deep. I dont think it is fair to pay to be hurt like this. read more

The only really good experience I had coming here was that they were able to take me in as a walk in. I got a gel manicure and a signature pedicure. The pedicure includes a 5 minute "massage". All the lady did was rub my legs & feet for 5 min, would not call it a massage. My fingernails are already chipping & it hasn't been 24 hours since the appointment. My nails are bumpy and the whole nail isn't even coated with polish. I could've asked them to finish it but they took so incredibly long- I did not have the patience to wait longer for them to potentially not turn nice. I wasn't going to write a review but seeing my nail chipped is extremely disappointing considering I paid $100 for both services. If I could- I would go back so they could fix the issue but unfortunately I'm leaving on vacation & by the time I come back it would be a week. I haven't had a manicure in 5 years. I was so excited when my friends suggested this place. I used the online system to book an appointment. I screwed up my first appointment by sending the wrong phone number and date. I tried again only to reserve the wrong date. On the third try I was able to book things correctly. My third appointment was quickly confirmed via email so I figured I was all set. I received a call from the salon two days before and I explained my errors. The lady calling me asked me to confirm the service. I told her I couldn't find descriptions of the services but I wanted the jelly combo. I even said I preferred two different people to work on me so it would not take so long. When I arrived for my appointment, the lady at the front took my name and told me to check in. I had just told her it was my first time and that I wanted a mani/pedi. She said the computer only had a pedicure. I requested a mani/pedi again and she said it should be ok. I noticed an iPad that said "check-in" and it asked for birthday. I input my birthday and the screen said I was checked in. Before I walked away, the screen said to enter phone number. So I entered my phone number. I attempted to enter my birthday again but the iPad was not allowing me to scroll. I was quickly called and taken to a pedicure chair. Again I told both of the men working on me that this was my first time and I was confused with the service list, I made a request for a mani/pedi. Then I added that I wanted dip powder. The tech working on my fingers brought over a bunch of samples in a bucket. (Very overwhelming..:way too many choices to flip through). I picked the colors for my hands and feet. Sam applied the dip powder and then applied some type of coat. He repeated this process a few times and then used the electric file to file things down. I'm not sure if that is typical or if a mistake was made. Sam does the dip powder and asks how my service was. Again, I'm confused because there was no manicure. I asked what level of manicure I received he told me I only got dip powder. He said he could add a couple of items for the inconvenience for no charge. Before I could agree, he started showing me the different services and said he could try to match my jelly pedi for $25 more. I declined. Jelly pedi was as expected. Ben provided the service and I am pretty satisfied. There is supposed to be a 20 minute massage. It would be great if this placed used a timer to keep track of the massage. It would also be great if wine/champagne was offered, or at lease bottled water. Three of my fingernails are sore. I'm guessing it's from the excessive use of the electric file. Sam did file my cuticles a few times causing brief pain. I did not feel heard at this place. I paid my bill and I don't plan on returning. Even when I left the receptionist said it's better to call and not use the online systems because it messes us frequently. Not sure how that happens...especially when someone calls to manually confirm my appointment. It should not be this hard to request a mani/pedi. I've been coming to Chloe Nails for quite a while, and I always booked with Cindy for both my nails and pedicures. She consistently did an amazing job, so I was disappointed to find out that she was no longer working there when I tried to schedule my most recent appointment. Since Cindy was no longer available, I booked with another technician. An older gentleman did my pedicure, and Katie did my nails. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences I've had at a nail salon. From the beginning, Katie seemed to have an attitude and made me feel like she didn't want to do my nails. I specifically told her I wanted a new Gel-X set. Instead of removing my old set and applying a new one, she applied a gel base coat over my existing Gel-X nails. As it cured under the UV lamp, it became extremely hot, and the burning sensation was so intense that I had to repeatedly pull my hands out because it hurt so much. She didn't acknowledge my discomfort, apologize, or offer any solution. During the process, she also cut the skin around several of my nails, leaving me with multiple small cuts. The finished nails look nothing like what I expected. They're very thick, bulky, and even curved in the middle instead of looking smooth and natural. I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the work. When I checked out, I was charged $145. I usually pay between $115 and $130, even when I get nail designs. When I asked why the price was higher, I was told it was because of the design. Since I almost always get designs, I didn't feel the additional charge was justified. I don't mind paying for quality work, but I do expect good customer service, professionalism, and a result that matches what I requested. Unfortunately, I received none of those during this visit. Between the poor attitude, the painful application, the cuts around my nails, the bulky final result, and the higher-than-usual price, I left feeling very dissatisfied. I don't know why Cindy is no longer with Chloe Nails, but after this experience, I'll be looking for a nail technician who takes pride in their work, listens to their clients, and provides quality service with a positive attitude. read more

The girl up front was nowhere to be found and no one else was available for communicating my needs. Check the cameras 5/19 from 6-7pm second station from the front door. The charge was $85.00 w/o tip. Usual charge for something similar 70-80. Truly I would have rather someone be honest and say I cannot achieve what you want can we do something more simple, this service required transparency. They literally mimicked white tip nails of thickness. Hello 90s Next day I scheduled with Mimi for change of color because it was horrible and this time it's for a trip that I need them to look classy and sexy. These were giving quince. The chick in the front recognized me and tried to mention this was fixable the day before and kept insisting. I absolutely did not have time to correct an adult a fourth time yet I still have to get home and make dinner. I calmly and politely just wanted this corrected even Mimi was not happy about the result and recommended a tech for anytime in the future that she may be missing. It was corrected, the girl in the front kept being pushy mentioned I was focused else where "I came to you 3 times" yet she was not the one doing the work.. 1. Check what I'm doing on my nails 2.suggested I pay before she leaves 3.lastly told me to do a neutral on my nail yet you can pull up the cameras and notice when I motioned to the male tech to go thinner and I continued to look around so someone that's employed there can help. She continued mentioning I need to pay attention. I respect everyone's role I was calm wanted it corrected stop blaming your client when no one should leave and push to pay ahead of what the service intel's because they are leaving early that's wild and I have never been in that pressure in this nail shop. I was able to just walk out and not pay but thats out of my character so I waited and looked for her once again for today's charge for the correction she didn't even know what to charge me. It's clear on the website. I brushed it off and she continued to charge me for the correction less than 24 hours of when this occurred $50.00 dollars. Keep in mind the color change for gel on the website is 27.00 and French tip is an extra 10.00. I feel better front house customer service should be established and transparency on what tech is flexible with creative views and are proud to mention where their strengths are to meet a client half way. Had to post about my recent visit today at Chloe Nails. My regular nail tech, Kaylee did an amazing job per usual. I got the Gel X on my nails. I'm an old school girl, who used to get just acrylic on my nails, and allow the length to grow with the acrylic to be re applied every 2-3 weeks. But after talking it over from previous visits with Kaylee, I wanted to try it the Gel X treatment. It's really cute, and my nails still look very natural. So I will give this a try and within the next 2 weeks when I go back I will see how the Gel X holds up, to other nail extension services offered. And of course my pedicure came out great! Surprisingly so, it wasn't crowded with it being Mothers Day and all. There were clients getting services, but the vibe was chill, not super busy . Service: Full set French Tips Nail Technician: Kevin If it wasn't for the super nice girl behind the front desk translating between the nail technicians and customers, there'd be ZERO communication. Luckily, she was SO nice and SO helpful, always walking around, making herself available to help me communicate with my nail technician, Kevin. Despite her help, Kevin came off like he was going to do what he felt was best, or perhaps what he wanted to do, despite my input and requests. I told him that I wanted them very short because I work with my hands and I'm constantly washing my hands. Also, that I'm simply not used to them since I only get my nails done ONCE a year, (for my birthday). I went on to explain that if they're too long, it's extremely painful because the pressure from the pull of them away from my natural nails. After gluing the tips, he cut them, showed them to me, and asked me what I thought about the length. He either wasn't listening or didn't care, because when I asked them to be shorter, he said that it wasn't possible. So, what was the point of asking me if I liked the length if he was not willing to cut them any shorter? I'm used to the pink color being from the powder used. I've never had it come from a polish. To his credit, this technique was far superior to using the powder with pink color because it's so much more natural looking. That being said, if I was given a choice, I would've opted for a slightly "darker," shade because the original coats really lighten up because after the initial white tip is painted on, he then removes it to create the smile line. I'm not sure what type of remover it is, one that removes the white polish and not completely remove the base coat underneath, but, it does lighten the base coat considerably. The end result is, is that you can clearly see the space between where my natural nail ends and the smile line. On just the SECOND day, the white polish had started wearing/coming off of the edges of ALL the nails, and on several, the white polish had started wearing/coming off the top of the nail. Four of the nails had a smile line that was noticeably uneven/crooked. On just the THIRD day, they started lifting!! (The reason being that they're too long and the constant pressure from being pulled away from my natural nails. Had they been shorter, this wouldn't be the case). 1 hour 30 minutes Full Set W/Gel (OVERLAYS): $55.00 Cuticle Removal: $10.00 Nails Service 1: $15.00 TOTAL: $80.00 + $15.00 Tip = $95.00 (SUGGESTED TIP: 15% = $12.00, 20% = $16.00) I HIGHLY recommend getting the Cuticle Removal. I was surprised by the price, I thought it'd be a lot more. Glad I was wrong! Overall, I liked the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. I also liked the fact that Kevin wasn't the chatty type. He focused on the task at hand, which allowed me to enjoy my latest Kindle read, in peace. I was, however, both surprised and disappointed by the lack of quality in the workmanship with how quickly the white polish started wearing off, and the lack of attention to detail with several smile lines being crooked/uneven, the base color being too light. The end result did not accurately reflect the time and effort that Kevin put in. You'd expect the job took far less than 1.5 hours. I will say this, though. I'm 100% confident that if I had called and told them all this, that Kevin would've corrected the issues, free of charge. They are just that kind of people - honest, willing to own up & take responsibility for their mistakes & willing to make it right. They want their customers satisfied and happy. However, I didn't bother calling to let them know because I'm only four days in, and I'm ready to have them off already!! My, (natural), nail beds are SO sore, and I can't do ANYTHING with them. I can't even pop open a can of soda without help, not to mention the click-clack sound of them when I type, (both on my Android & on my laptop keyboard), is SUPER annoying!! I don't know how women do it, & mine are far shorter than what most women get done!! Sadly, based on my experience, I can't/won't be recommending Chloe Nails. Also, I'm undecided whether or not I will return. But, since I won't be getting them done again for another year, I've got plenty of time to decide!! read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I had a lady that went by the name of Katie do my builder gel removal and I cannot express how horribly she did this. She was digging into my nails the whole time with the nail dremel it all felt so ammature and horrible. Not only that, the whole time other employees were coming over and talking to her and I could feel her getting increasingly more rushed and none of them stepped in to show her the proper way to use a dremel. I also informed two different employees that I had builder gel on my nails so they cannot use the excuse that they didn't know what product I had on my nails. Do these people even have licenses? If they do it's insane to me that no one out of the 6 different people that came over to look at my nails and saw what she was doing that non of them stepped in to help or give her advice on what to do! On top of that I asked for the same shape that my nails already were but just shortened. I got a completely different shape AND there is so much hangy parts of my nail all over my nails still!!! Absolutely horrible and I will not be coming back here. For reference I will be including photos of my nails before she started the work and after. I went to Chloe's Nails to get gel mani/pedi for a wedding I was attending. I was handed their brochure and asked which service I wanted. I told them I wanted the Signature Manicure and a Classic Pedicure. I haven't gotten my nails done in a couple months and my cuticles were bad. I told the manicurist I worked in the military and that I wanted my gel nails really strong and he convinced me to get dipped nails. He did a horrrrrrible job. He filed my nails down so low they hurt so bad. And to top it off, he cut my cuticles dry. Didn't soften them at all. A couple hours later my fingers bled and the gel started to peel. Like actual PEEL. I spent $92 and left no tip. I spoke to 3 of the employees, including the manger. All the manager did was file them down more causing me more pain. The nail wasn't the problem. The cuticles and the inside of my nail were the problem. It required a cuticle trimmer, but instead she chose to file them down and explained that he probably had a new file. All she said was it was bad communication and that I came in there with my nails that low. So instead of fixing my nails like they should, or giving me a refund, I left I upset. I will never go there again. The proof is all in the nails. I ended up going somewhere else the morning of the wedding I was attending and spending $55 since 3 of my nails peeled off. I just happened to look down and my nail was peeling off. Why would a gel nail peel off? I'm very disappointed in how they treated their customer. I hope they do better in the future. read more

I have been a loyal customer for some years now, but yesterday will be my last time going to this shop. I have been regularly hurt and injured while receiving services here (eg. cuts that drew blood, painful drill burns, etc.) to the point that I expected & accepted it as part of the process. Usually the harm was small enough to overlook and I ultimately left with whatever mani/pedi I came for. Yesterday was the last straw. I came for a mani/pedi and left with a drill burn so bad on my toe that I couldn't receive the initial service I asked for. The staff acted like they couldn't see the very obvious injury and still did everything they could to receive money and proceed with the pedicure. I wasn't offered ANY accommodation for such an egregiously negative experience despite having a longstanding relationship with the shop. Not even a discount, though I believe I shouldn't have had to pay for the pedi at all. In fairness, I will give a shoutout to Ivy, the mani tech, for being the only one to offer support and a solution (an alternative pedicure since I physically couldn't handle polish - even WATER - on the injury).
