Located in Vista. We went to a few breweries while visiting my son, West Brew had the best vibe. All starts with the bartender Ally. She is literally the best. Great , upbeat attitude that translates thru out the bar. Nestled right next to the side of a beautiful mountain, might have been a big hill, but looks like a mountain to me, I was able to sample a few of the West Brews. I got a flight of a pilsner, sour, lager, and a blonde ale. All GREAT. Then ordered a 16oz. oatmeal stout. OMG. DELICIOUS!!! My wife and my son's girlfriend each got a seltzer. They said they were good, I'll take their word for it. We also ordered empanadas, they were delicious as well. We went on a Sunday, they had a NFL game on. We also played pool for an hour, had a great time. Next time we visit my son, this will be one of the breweries we will be going back to. And hopefully Ally will be working the bar. read more

Solid IPA's, which is my favorite kind of beer. Decor is trendy, but vibe is laid-back. We brought our young kids with us, and while we had a welcoming experience and stayed for a few hours, I did get nervous with our kids running around and touching everything in light of their nice decor (our group had a kids in the age range of 2-4). Bartender was very knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations. A friendly patron shared his takeout pizza with us. Had a very pleasant experience. Great local joint. read more

This place has the most welcoming, surfer-ish vibes. Their glasses have a "W" with a person on a surfboard for their logo. I thought that was cool. Love it here. They have a pool table, plenty of cozy seating inside. Outside is pretty spacious lots of greenery, plants all throughout the building. It made drinking really enjoyable. My hubby talked with head brewer-Cody, he educated us on the beers, taste, etc. Very friendly guy. Appreciated the one on one as this was our first time here. My favorite is the Strawberry Mango Hibiscus Kettle sour. Fresh ingredients, without that tangy sour kick at the end. This drink is a game changer for the ladies. They also have different flavors of hard seltzers to choose from- pomegranate, mango, cherry, blood orange, blueberry, Pina Colada and vanilla cream. Pina Colada was tasty, next time I'll try some of the other flavors. My hubby, friend enjoyed the "Hazy by the Sea" so much that they got a second round. Really nice place! Very relaxing and beautiful atmosphere. Great drink selection! Lots of beers, seltzer's, and even slushes! They had a great IPAs and lots of seltzer flavors that were all very good! They also have prepackaged food like salads, and sandwiches for purchase. We stumbled upon this gem just after going to another local brewery and was pleasantly surprised what was lingering just around the back corner. It was just 30 minutes before closing and so we tried a few samples and then split one of the strawberry tropical brews. So good. I am in love with the vibe here. If anyone from the Yelp community management hasn't ventured here yet. I totally see a Brewventure a brewing here! It would be fantastic! I definitely want to come back. Love this place so much!! Everyone is so nice and the vibes are amazing. Very beachy/surfer-y and overall relaxing. They have a wide variety of beers AND seltzers. Tried the Mojave Haze, a west coast IPA and the Baja Blasted. Be warned the Baja blasted makes your tongue blue ;). It seems like a hole in the wall but those are the best places. Dogs welcome too!! Great beer cool vibe although it looks a lot like Helia inside and a similar surf logo.the hazy IPA is really good, I liked the pilsner a lot too, the blond was good and the mosaic was done good as well. They have a nice big tasting room with a pool table. They also have a big outdoor area with corn hole and assorted games. The staff was friendly and pleasant to deal with. After using off Friday's with the wife to discover new eateries and breweries for the past few years, we had grown tired of the mediocre hazy and the usual IPA variant. Westbrew delivered the break from the norm that we needed so badly!!! Very relaxed clean atmosphere, music that makes you feel like you are vacation and the beer!!! I am by no means an expert but, I have had more than my share of craft beer. Every now and then I am looking for an easy drinker after a meal. I am normally met with a meh Pilsner or overly bitter lager. Granted not a beer many craft breweries spend much time perfecting or even brewing. Not WestBrew!!! Liquid Sol was served and recommended by a very personable beer tender and she was spot on. This is a beer to drink in the sun. So good, it is the Gentleman Jack to Jack Daniels!!! We've been to all the Westbrew locations and the beer is great! But the Vista location needs some help. The tasting rooms was filthy. The bathrooms was gnarly..it looked like the toilet hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The floor of the tasting room was gritty and needed to be swept. Dog hair on all the furniture. And all the shelf's were covered in dust. With a few minutes of work, this place would be 5 stars. read more

Found this hidden gem after a long day at work and I'll tell you I was not disappointed. I live in Orange County but was working in Vista and wanted to relax for a little before my long drive home. This is the spot to go to! Anytime I visit vista, I plan on coming back. The whole aesthetic of the shop was amazing. Plants, soothing colors, lots of natural light and beautiful furniture. Aside from that, it is very spacious which is perfect right now. And of course the drinks were delicious. I had the Frost hard seltzer and it was amazing. Another brewery? Yep! What can I say....we here in north county are well endowed with amazing craft breweries. Should be enough to get us thru this pandemic, but we'll see. West Brew made great use of their space here in Vista. I really like the laid back coastal/natural decor. I have several times come in here for a beer after work and it is just a great place to hang out. The beer list is pretty decent, especially for just having opened. They offer most anything you could want from the lighter side to the darker as well as a few hard seltzers and even a beer slushie machine working on the weekend. The hazy IPAs were the stars for me on our recent visit though, but I am looking forward to coming back to taste my way thru their lineup, again. Lastly, the staff here was on point from the folks behind the bar, to the owner stopping by our table to check in. Everyone made us feel welcome and at ease whether it was a weekday evening or weekend afternoon. WestBrew place opened up in 2020 and is making it work! Good IPA & Hazy IPAs if you're an IPA like myself.
